It wasn't the most plausible solution to his ideas, yet it was one that Lucrecia had planted in his head. Here was Vincente Ariel Faire, the cold, sarcastic, cocky.....well he is a lot of things......wondering if what his sister had said made any sense at all. She had told him that he was his own worst enemy, letting his defenses barricade his soul deep inside himself so that others couldn't see it. Was this why he had gotten up at four in the morning and come outside to swim? The answer stared at him from inside; yes, he had done just that. He was in the lake, swimming, something most thought unnatural given the fact that it was still slightly cold these days. Vince however didn't care, the water was soothing, and if anything attacked him, well he wasn't an wizard for nothing.
Right now, he was floating maybe twenty feet from the shore, looking up at the sky. The stars were still out, and the moon was at the crescent. Deciding that he would much rather be on shore gazing at the night lights of space, he turned over in the water and swam to the shore. As he came out of the water, he felt that chill that had been bound to happen. Shivering slightly, he pulled his wand out of the jeans he was wearing; he immediately dried himself off, clothes and all. He summoned his abondoned shoes, socks, shirt, robe, and bandana to him. Not ready to be encumbered by his shirt just yet, he only put on his bandana, socks, and shoes. He threw on his robe, just so that he wouldn't get cold, then proceeded to lay down, entwining his hands and placing them behind his head for some support.
It was nights such as these that the young man found himself almost sociable, almost. It was common knowledge that unless you wanted to be lashed out at by his smart mouth, then you steered clear of him. Still though, no one knew the real Vince. The kind, caring, protective Vince that hid away inside of the egotistical guardian part of himself. He sighed audibly and said aloud, " What in the world am I gonna do with myself?" his voice sounded exasperated.
