Danny sat in a chair in the common room which faced the window perfectly and just stared outside it, blankly looking up to the sky and the full moon. He let out a small yawn, he was so tired right now, probably because he couldn’t sleep at all last night and tonight was shaping out to be the same way. He looked around the common room and it was empty and Danny let out a small laugh. Any sane person would be asleep right now, like he should have been but Danny never thought of himself as totally sane. Danny looked back out the window; the sky was clear tonight and a full moon was in the air or at lest very close to a full moon. Danny sighed trying to get more comfortable in the chair, which seemed to be impossible. The chair seemed determined not to allow him any rest, like he would have gotten it anyway.
He just gave up and sat there looking back out the window and at the moon thinking to himself. Danny knew full well why he couldn’t sleep, it was because of what day it was; the day his grandfather died. He thought he was over his death but it would seem he wasn't totally over it just yet. Hopefully tomorrow he would be able to get to sleep a lot easier; that is if he didn’t fall asleep during class. Danny stood up with a sigh then almost fall over, he had to do something about this, he couldn’t fall asleep in class two days in a row. He had gotten lucky the first day, no one noticed he was asleep so he got away with it but tomorrow was potions and he was sure he would get in trouble there.
There was only one place with something that could make him go to sleep, he thought to himself then laughed a little. “Well unless there’s late night history class.” He said quietly to himself with a small laugh. He put his wand in the pocket of his uniform and headed for the exit; He wasn’t surprised to see that the fat lady was still awake and drunk when he got out of the common room. “Where….Where do you think your go?” The Fat Lady said almost as loud as Danny thought she could. Danny just sighed, he wasn’t in the mood for a drunk portrait at the moment, he was tried and just wanted to go. “Sorry, I couldn’t sleep so I’m going to go to the Hospital Wing and….” Danny tried to explain but was cut off by The Fat Lady. “Yea! Well I got better things to do then sit here all night. I might not be here when you get back, you know?” She just kept yelling, Danny was sure the whole school must have been awake by now. “Yes ma’am.” Danny said politely then walked as fast as he could away.
He could still hear The Fat Lady going on about how much she had to do tonight as he walked down the stairs. “Great, now my head hurts and I’m still tired, Darn drunk portrait.” He said as he walked down the stairs, which seemed to be sleeping themselves because none of them were moving. Danny just let out a small laugh. “Even stairs can get better sleep then me tonight.” He remarked still laughing a little. Danny soon found himself in a corridor unsure how he really got there, he must have made a wrong turn without paying attention but he was sure he was on the fourth floor. The corridor was dark and he couldn’t really tell if he had been down it before or not. Danny just decided to walk down it and see where it would lead him. Pretty soon Danny could hear want sounded like footsteps behind him, his mind raced for a second till he thought it must have been the echo from his own feet. He stopped moving and the sounds following him stopped and Danny just smiled, but then they started again and sounded closer.
Danny choose to start walking again maybe duck into a room or hide behind something. He couldn’t be sure who the footsteps belonged to but he just kept walking, he still couldn’t find an adequate place to hide yet. Danny soon found himself in front of the library and was running out of ideas. “Go into the library or keep going?” He asked himself quietly debating it. He picked the library, Danny could always say he was just studying late because the library was full in the afternoon. That might have gotten him out of detention if he played it just right. He looked around totally forgetting about the footsteps and now thinking about how creepy the library was at night, It just gave the feeling like something was going to happen. Soon Danny found himself walking up and down bookcases, actually enjoying the fact that it was empty and still kind of creepy. Danny turned another bookcase and was shocked to find the figure of someone standing there but he couldn’t make out who they were let alone which way they were facing. Danny just ducked behind the bookcase hoping it wasn’t Madam Pince and that whoever it was hadn’t seen him.

Trinity really needed to learn this spell. She frowned, biting her lip in frustration. Well, she didn't need to learn it, but she wanted to, which basically meant she needed to. Flinging the useless textbook away from her so it tumbled from the end of the bed to the floor, she gave a growl of exasperation and slipped her toasty-warm toes into her shoes. She barely gave a glance at the clock as she flung a standard black cloak on. She wanted to learn this spell, and if none of the textbooks she owned could provide her with the answer on how to levitate herself, she would find it elsewhere. Trinity would teach her body to fly. Once she set her mind on something, it was impossible to change it or halt her. Anyone who stood in her way was mercilessly bulldozed. Trinity would likely not bat an eyelid.
"Trinity, where are you going?" One of her dormmates was awake enough to notice her creeping away. She was also sensible enough to try and dissuade her otherwise. Or perhaps she could be considered foolish for attempting to dissuade Trinity Bleu. "If you get caught again, who knows what McGonagall will do to you? She was our Head of House and now she's Headmistress. You'll get Gryffindor into so much trouble." The girl's voice was verging on cross, which was understandable, considering the number of times Trinity had been penalised for her midnight wanderings.
Trinity waved her friend's concern away nonchalently. "I'll be fine. Don't worry yourself about me. Go to sleep. I'll be back before morning." And with a final cheeky grin, she stepped into the night.
It didn't take long to arrive with stealth and skill at the doors of the Library. The librarian had closed it for the night, but Trinity was used to surging her way through nonetheless. Did they really think this could keep her out? She was the master of the weirdest spells, most of which she had taught herself. Sometimes her classes were too slow for her liking, as well as boring the hell out of her. Most of the time, though, Trinity didn't pay much attention to her professors. 'Wasted potential', many would utter under their breaths. Well, they didn't utter so much when Trinity thrashed the exams. A fluke? Well yeah. But she was also a bright girl under the layers of mischief and rebelliousness.
Moments later, Trinity was flicking through the sections of books on spells. "Fly, fly... Flight? Flying? Hm..." It wasn't long until she found the relevant area and began scouring through them. However, seconds later the sounds of footsteps, hurried and panicky, resounded against the flooring of the Library. Trinity felt the vibrations with narrowed, cat-like eyes in the darkness. Someone was coming... But it was certainly no professor. Shrugging uncaringly, Trinity stood her ground. Looked like she had company, and she was curious, not scared, of who it was. When a figure appeared round the corner, she looked up from the book she held, throwing her wand out towards the intruder from the pages, and caught sight of a younger student she recognised. "And I thought you'd be an older student breaking the rules. You disappoint me," she joked, lowering her wand and walking towards the boy. "Keep it down, for crying out loud, otherwise you really will get us caught." Trinity ran an observing eye over the other Gryffindor's face, before whispering loudly again. "You're Danny, right? Fourth Year?" She grinned. "Whatcha doing out so late?"

Danny stood there, his mind going through all the people it could be. He went through a mental list of all the professors; there was a few he might be able to talk his way out of trouble but if it was anyone else there would be no way out of it. Danny gave up hiding, he was pretty sure whoever it was had already seen him so he just moved out from behind the bookcase. The figure was now holding out their wand at him, he could tell that it was a girl and that it was definitely not a professor or someone else who could him in trouble, so he was relieved besides the fact that she had her wand pointed right at him. He stood there a few more seconds debating his options. “I could run but that’s not my style, I could pull out my own wand, but then there would probably be a fight and that would call more attention or I could..” Danny’s train of thought was broken as she started talking, putting down her wand and walking toward him.
Danny laughed quietly at her remark as she walked closer. “Sorry to disappoint you, I’m just trying to get a head start on breaking rules.” Danny said with a smile, still not totally sure who this person was but there was no reason to worry about them telling anyone it seemed. Danny listened as she told him not to make so much noise or they both really would get caught. Danny was a little embarrassed, he personally thought he was doing a good job at being quite but it appeared it wasn’t good enough. “Sorry it would seem my sneaking around skills still leave something to be desired.” Danny said quietly as he looked at the girl now in front of him. Danny knew he had seen her around the common room but her name was escaping him right now. “Hmm what was it, something with a T I think.” Danny thought to himself as he kept looking at her hoping her name would pop up.
Danny was a little surprised when she spoke his name and his year then asked if she was right. Now Danny felt bad, she remembered his name but her name was escaping him at the moment. “That’s me, nice to meet you and your…” He said smiling with a small pause starting to feel a little embarrassed then all of a sudden he realized her name or at lest he hoped it was her name, if it wasn’t this was going to get very awkward very quick. “Trinity if I’m not mistaken.” Danny remarked as he moved on to her next question about why he was out so late.
“Well to put it simply, I just couldn’t fall asleep last night or tonight so I was going to see if Madam Pomfrey had something, but with my luck she would probably be asleep then it would be on to my plan B. Halfway there I must have zoned out and ended up here.” Danny said quietly with a small laugh, thinking about how tonight had all turned out so far. “If you don’t mind me asking, what are you doing up so late?” Danny asked, curious why someone else would be wondering the library this late but seeing as how she was looking at book when he first saw her, she might actually have been studying. "If I'm disturbing your studying or something I can go find another room to practice my sneaking around in. I think the Great hall is empty right about now." Danny said with a smile hoping he wasn't ruining something by being in the library.

Trinity grinned appreciatively in response to Danny's words. "A head start? In Fourth Year? You're a late bloomer." She shut the book she'd been glancing over and propped it against a ledge, before taking out another book from the shelves that housed thousands, if not millions of others, of all different shapes and sizes, carrying varying information. Trinity was not a bookworm but she appreciated books; they were a great source of inspiration and knowledge when required. "You'll improve, kid," she said, still grinning as the next book was opened with enthusiasm. "Takes practice, like they say. There's no shortcut to being the best." Trinity winked at Danny and then nodded approvingly at his correct guess. "Yup. Trinity Bleu, that's me. Fifth Year. I'm sure you won't forget me... It's a rare name and I freak most people out." She cocked a knowing smile. "Nice to meet you too, Danny. Just don't be surprised if I just call you 'kid' all the time." It was a bad habit of Trinity's to label anyone younger than her 'kid', whoever they were, with the exception of her half-brother, Caleb. The seven-year-old would no doubt feel rather indignant if she did. Trinity and Eric's emboldened attitudes had rubbed off on their youngest sibling.
Trinity raised her eyebrows at Danny's explanation. "You know, if you tried that on McGonagall she would just snort and laugh at you." She chuckled, her eyes falling from Danny's face to the book in front of her, letting her wand's light shadow the pages. "They don't recommend wandering out at night - or have you not been paying attention the last four years?" Trinity lowered her cheeky attitude, though, after a few jabs at Danny's story. "S'all right, kid. I believe you. It was a bit stupid of you to do it. And here I was thinking there was a fellow daredevil in the School. You disappoint me. But it's all right to have company sometimes, as long as they don't get you caught too." Trinity glanced up to send Danny a pointed look. "Not that I haven't been caught before," she added, half-wistful, half-amused. "I think McGonagall thinks I'm the rudest, most rebellious student she's ever had the pleasure of teaching." Trinity said this with some relish, mirthful eyes twinkling in the wandlight. "The trophy for most mischievous pranksters go to the Weasley twins. I don't go looking to break the rules. I just won't let them stop me." She smiled affectionately at Danny. "We have something in common."
Trinity shrugged carelessly as she turned back to the book again. "I was trying to learn this spell - it's meant to make me fly. Yes, without a broomstick. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. Anyway, the textbook I have is useless, so I popped out here to do a bit of research." She gestured around the Library, waiting for the inevitable, taken-aback question from Danny: "In the middle of the night?!" Trinity laughed when the kid actually apologised for interrupting her. "S'all right. Stay. I don't mind a fellow night-sneaker." She winked again, closing the book and shoving it back into the shelf. "That one's useless," she muttered to herself, pulling out another. "Any problems in your classes, kid? I could help. I'm nifty with some spells."

Danny laughed a little as she questioned him about his head start then said he was a late bloomer. He had to admit it was kind of true, in his first year he normally just stayed in the common room reading and studying being just amazed at the magical world he was finally apart of. In his second and third years he had gotten braver exploring more of the castle and parts he wasn’t allowed in. “I guess your right, I didn’t really start exploring Hogwarts late at night till my third year.” Danny said smiling as he looked around the bookcases he was next to. None of the books around him seemed all to interesting. Danny just smiled thinking back to the Animagus book Danny had found and gotten out of the library, he doubted he would ever bring that back if he had a choice. “Random question but do you know how long you can keep a library book?” Danny asked looking back to her hoping she would say forever or something along those lines.
He laughed a little as she told him it would require practice to get good at sneaking around then she winked at him and he just smiled. “In that case I might have to see if I can get a game of hide and seek going with some of the house elves, if they aren’t too busy.” He said smiling, knowing full well they wouldn’t play they were always to busy cooking and cleaning it seemed for anything else. He just laughed as she introduced herself then explained why she might call him kid, which Danny didn’t really mind. “Don’t worry about that, my grandpa used to call me that all the time so I’ll be fine with it.” Danny said with a smile, he hated bringing up his grandfather in his life so much but everything seemed to be linked to him in some way.
Danny just smiled as Trinity laughed at his excuse for being out so late then talked about if he had gotten caught. “Actually McGonagall wasn’t the one I was worried about but Filch, he just creeps me out.” Danny said laughing a little knowing it was true. Something about that man just never sat right with Danny and he just couldn’t explain it. “ No I’ve found out a couple times personally they don’t like people out late but I figured it was better then sleeping in potions class later today.” Danny remarked after she said they don’t like students out late. “And I’ll try not to get you caught. If someone comes then you can just run and I’ll just try my lost and tired fourth year routine.” Danny said with a smirk. “It’s worked before.” Danny added laughing then listened to her as she kept talking about McGonagall and getting in trouble with her.
She went on to tell him about why she was in the library so late, Danny couldn’t remember any spell that could make yourself fly but he knew tons that made other people or objects fly. “Well I could make you fly quite easily, personally it’s one of my favorite spells but making yourself fly, I have no idea but it’s probably somewhere in here.” Danny said with a smirk; Danny learned pretty much all the flying and moving spells he could just for the fun of messing with other people. Pulling chairs back or lifting object and chasing people with them, they were just all around useful. She soon said it was okay if Danny stuck around the library with her which he was glad about, he didn’t really want to start his journey to the Hospital Wing just yet.
Trinity put another book back commenting that it was useless then turned to him asking if he needed any help with any of his classes, saying she was quite good with spells. “To be honest I’m doing surprisingly well in all my classes besides the fact that I don’t actually study half the stuff, the only think I really have to study for is Divination. I’m just all around terrible in that class, I just fake my way through what I see most the time.” Danny said laughing slightly, looking around the library the back to Trinity.
(Sorry, I guess I got carried away.)

Trinity smirked. Talking about exploring Hogwarts at night - she'd seen most of the castle by the end of her first year. Rather than propelled by a desire to break the rules (though that had been very tempting), Trinity had been curious - she had been particularly adventurous during her first three years at Hogwarts, but then the mystery had died away, and she had learned to control her urges more. "I'd seen it all by my third year," Trinity said, not at all aware or bothered about being perceived as cocky and all-knowing. "The best secret passages to Hogsmeade; the prefects' bathrooms; the Room of Requirements." She tilted her head questioning at Danny, eyes bright and boring into him. "Have you heard about that, kid?" Trinity had discovered the Room of Requirements in her first year, having heard several rumours about it which had sparked her determination to find out if it really existed - and it did. What was very special about that room was that it catered for the user's needs; it was quite something.
Trinity rifled through the book she held, then placed it on the shelf with the other one she had already selected and grabbed another. "Hm... not sure." She glanced up at Danny with mischievous eyes. "I've never had to find out. I always borrow my books at night." Before Danny could ask how she got past the magical barriers, Trinity explained. "I found this spell that makes the books intangible. Like I said, I know nifty spells." Smiling, Trinity tossed the book into the useless pile and took up another. "I never steal the books... I always return them in one piece. I'm not a thief, I just like the excitement of a challenge. I'm not a prankster either. It's not like I go out of my way to annoy the professors. Not like Rex. You know Rex? Everyone knows Rex. And Billy, his sidekick." Trinity grinned affectionately. Rex Carter, fellow fifth-year Gryffindor, was the biggest prankster she knew, along with his best friend, Billy Brady, also in fifth year but in Hufflepuff house. "Probably two or three weeks. Try asking the librarian. I've forgotten her name," Trinity finally advised.
"They appreciate the company. Poor things cooped up in the Kitchens twenty-four seven. I feel sorry for them. They live to serve." Trinity tutted in disgust at the thought of enslaving house elves. "They probably don't even know what Hide and Seek is. You should teach them. They're not busy at night. Hardly. They just prepare the food for the next day. That's all they ever do. Prepare. Cook. Etc." Her grin vanished, to be replaced with a thick scowl. "Right," she nodded curtly. "Good to hear that, kid."
Trinity snorted at Danny's words. "Everyone thinks Filch is creepy. And that cat of his too. I'm no animal-hater, but she's a nasty piece of work." She shook her head knowingly, remembering the times Mrs Norris had attempted to catch her in the act of breaking the rules and reporting her to her master. "He hates me, Filch. He doesn't like how I break the rules and get away with it. It's because most of the time when I break the rules it don't affect other people." Trinity rolled her eyes. "Filch'd have a field day if he caught us two right now." Her eyes darted upwards, around the Library, in case they were being eavesdropped on, but it seemed she and Danny were the only people in the darkness lit solely by the tip of her wand. "Like hell!" Trinity groused firmly, shaking her head and at the same time throwing another book on the Rejection pile. "If we run, we run together, kid." She flashed Danny a grin. "I don't leave my friends behind."
Trinity shrugged. "Spells are all similar, in theory. It's probably the same except with a different letter..." Finally, a useful book! It joined the Successful pile. Trinity raised an eyebrow at Danny's account of his subjects. "Divination? How can you study for Divination, kid? It's impossible." She shook her head cynically. "It's all about luck, if you can do Divination well. And some natural skill, I guess. You get to drop it after OWL. I definitely will." She smirked at Danny. "If I was your teacher I'd tell you to study, but I can't talk."

Danny was kind of jealous as he listened to Trinity talk about how she already knew so much about Hogwarts by her third year. Danny kind of regretted not explore so much during his first couple years but he couldn’t say they were wasted; spending nights up late learning new spells and practicing them till the morning was more fun then he had ever had before he came to Hogwarts. “Room of requirements?” Danny said in a questioning tone as he looked on to Trinity. He knew he had heard of it before but thought most of it was just rumors or kids in older years pulling pranks on some of the new students. “I’ve heard rumors but not very many details about it.” Danny answered her, trying to remember what he had heard about it. “It’s supposed to turn into whatever you want, right? That has to be amazing” Danny said as he thought more about the room; now that he knew that someone had actually found it, it renewed his curiosity in it. “I’ll have to go check it out some time.” Danny thought out loud to himself.
He was kind of disappointed in Trinity’s answer; it was not what he was hoping for. He kept listening as he looked through a couple more of the books surrounding him, maybe finding another interesting one like he had before. Trinity spoke about how she always burrowed her books at night and she had found a spell that made them intangible, to get them out of the library; which Danny was just about to ask her about. “Well I’ll need to look that up sometime.” He said with a smirk as he gave up on this bookcase, it seemed to be all about plants and not the interesting kinds. She went on to say that she wasn’t a thief, she always returned the books she burrowed. Danny gave a small sigh as Trinity brought up Rex and his friend, then asked if he knew them but before he could answer she answered her own question. Danny didn’t have anything against them, he had just been at the end of a few of their pranks in the past and made an attempt to never let that happen again; which he doubted he could pull off.
“Two or three weeks, hmm. Well I guess I’ll just hold on to it forever and see if Madam Pince comes after me.” Danny said with laugh thinking about the book. “I can’t really ask her about it or she might take it away and I can’t let that happen just yet.” Danny said looking back to Trinity smiling, kind of wishing he brought it with him, just for the joy of showing it off. “I haven’t even gotten past the first chapter, but what should I expect.” Danny added thinking out loud to himself, for the most part.
Danny just smiled as he listened to Trinity talk about the house elves. “Finally someone else who seems to care about them.” He thought to himself as she kept on talking. “I know, I felt bad for them when I first found the kitchen. I had gotten lost one night during my second year and somehow ended up in front of the kitchen, good thing one of them left the door open or I would never have figured out it was there. I hung out with them for awhile.” Danny said with a small laugh as he remembered that night. “They are some of the nicest creatures; they even carried me back to my bed I guess, because I fell asleep in the kitchen and woke up in my bed.” He said grinning, realizing how weird his story must have sounded.
He laughed as she said everyone thought Filch was creep and his cat too, Danny nodded in agreement. “Hates you? I think he hates everyone besides that cat.” Danny said laughing pretty sure it was true; he never saw the guy happy once, unless Mrs. Norris was involved. Danny laughed as Trinity mentioned that Filch would have a field day if he found them in the library, which caused Danny to look around just like Trinity did. It was true he would love to catch people breaking the rules, just for the joy of the punishments they were given. He turned back to Trinity as she yelled at him that she wasn’t going to run and let him stay here, she wouldn’t leave a friend.
Danny just smiled and a little shocked that she yelled. “Well thanks, I’ll try to keep up in that case.” He said with smirk as he looked around a quick second, all this talk about Filch had caused him to think we would be around here somewhere. He grinned when she questioned him about Divination and then he nodded agreeing. “Well I have no luck in it and no natural skill.” He said with laugh, thinking about the class. “Yeah, I plan to drop it the moment I can. I don't really want to the know the future, then things might get boring.” He explained laughing a little, he wished he could drop the class right now; trying to make images out of tea leaves and crystal balls was getting really tiring especial when he made up the images half the time. “I’ve honestly gotten the weirdest predictions from that lady. One day I was going to die from falling down the stairs that night, the next I was going to live till ninety where I would then die from falling down stairs. It would appear stairs or gravity in general are after me.” Danny remarked laughing about how absurd it seemed, even if he would die from stairs or something like that he didn’t really want to know.

Trinity nodded. "Yup. But you've got to want it. Need it. It doesn't just appear for everyone, kid. It serves those who really need it. Has a mind of its own." She cracked a mischievous grin. "Once I was running from Filch and it appeared. Makes a great hiding place, a room that can never be found." She twirled her wand in her palm as she left the last book in the Rejected pile and focused her gaze on the few who had made it into the Success section. "I'll teach you," she said to Danny, pointing her wand at the books. "Watch." Muttering the spell softly under her breath, Trinity made the books she wanted to take with her intangible. The spell's effects were obvious to the human eye: they suddenly became ghost-like in appearance, translucent. "Voila," Trinity grinned, tucking the books under her arms. "Works a charm every time. Literally."
She raised an eyebrow at Danny's musings. "This is a school of magic, kid," she said. "Whatcha think they do? The last time I kept a book from the Library one day over the limit - which was a long time ago, obviously - it disappeared. Went straight back here." She shook her head, impressed. "Pince doesn't need to make an effort at all. She's got better things to do like organising this place than harassing you lot for overdue books. That means your book's not overdue then," she clarified.
"So you're a muggle? Half-born? Pureblood?" Trinity questioned out of interest as she used her wand to clear up the slight mess she had made in this area of the shelves - and to cover up the absences Pince would be sure to notice in the morning if Trinity didn't make it less obvious. She grinned at Danny's anecdote about the Kitchen house elves. "The nicest creatures are always taken advantage of by the 'stronger', 'smarter' ones," she said rather solemnly. "So, you coming, kid? I've got what I wanted. Time to go back."
She chuckled knowingly at Danny's description of Filch, before correcting, "And Dumbledore. But he's gone now. He's probably scared out of his mind of McGonagall too." She listened to Danny's stories about his Divination failures and nodded, understanding. "I predict my own death all the time. Everyone does," she said lightly. "If it's not crashing on my broomstick it's being slain by a dragon." She shrugged, uncaring. "Load of bull, if you ask me. But Divination can be accurate... providing you can do it." She grimaced at memories of her own attempts to 'see'. She appeared to be completely blind.
Trinity and Danny started to leave the Library as quietly as possible after she had finished putting all the books away. With her stolen items under her arm, Trinity led the way out and down the dark corridor with her wand turned on the dimmest light 'switch'. "No talking till we get back," she hissed to Danny. "And if someone comes, just follow my lead." Thankfully their five-minute journey was uninterrupted, and the two fell through a disgruntled, sleepy Fat Lady and into the Gryffindor Common Room safe and sound. "Home sweet home." Trinity gave a low whistle and sank into a sofa. Taking up one book, the rest she left beside her. "You going to bed then, kid?" she asked Danny without looking up.

Danny just smiled as he listened to Trinity describe the room of requirements, it would seem all the rumors were true about it. He soon wondered what limits the room might have, could it only make stuff the size of the room itself or bigger then that. Danny gave a quite laugh, deciding to test it for himself later on his own. As he thought to himself about the room he looked to another bookcase that was nearby looking at it from top to bottom, still nothing seemed interesting till he came to the last one on the shelve. “Saucy Tricks for Tricky Sorts” He muttered out loud to himself, quickly turning to Trinity as she told him she would teach him. He was excited to actually learn something new so she didn’t have to tell him twice to watch as she pointed her wand at a pile of books. As Trinity muttered the spell Danny made sure to remember it the best he could, wishing he brought his Muggle pen so he could write it down.
He soon watched as the pile of books turned ghostly pale and you could almost see through them. Danny smiled as he listened to Trinity say it worked every time, now Danny really wanted to try it. He went and picked up the book that caught his eye a minute ago and put in on the table. “Well lets see if that’s true.” He said with a smirk; he pulled out his wand and pointed it at the book, muttering the same spell and watched it slowly turn pale and ghost like. “ Looks like your right.” He said smiling happy he could actually do it, Danny always loved learning new spells and trying them in different ways. “You don’t think this would work on doors too, do you?” He asked Trinity, slowly realizing you might be able to find other uses for it. “Might be able to walk through locked doors if it did. Then again you could just find a way to make yourself intangible too.” He explained laughing to himself, along with finding the room of requirements he was going to need to try this too.
Danny sighed a little as she reminded him that this was a magical school and that the books just disappeared if they were gone to long. Danny had never needed to keep a book for longer then a week so he didn’t realize this and he wished someone would have told him that earlier. “ Then I hope this book here has a section on how to copy things permanently.” He said with a smirk looking to the now ghostly book. “I don’t plan I giving back my Animagus book without a fight.” He said laughingly, turning back to Trinity smiling.
She soon asked him if he was a muggle, half-born or pureblood. “Pureblood, at lest from my grandpa till now. He never talked about his ancestors much and didn’t really like when I asked him about it.” Danny said drifting off in his thought, wondering why his grandfather got so weird when the topic came up but soon snapped out of it and paid attention to Trinity. Danny nodded and agreed with her statement about the house elves, he was going to say something but soon forgot it as Trinity asked him if he was coming, she got what she wanted. “Sure, I might as well head back too.” He said with a smile picking up his loan ghostly book as Trinity carried the couple she grabbed under her arm.
Danny just smiled and nodded with her about Divination. “Yeah, well I need a seeing eye dog if I’m going to look into the future.” He said laughing slightly then stopped as they made they’re way out of the library and she said not to talk till they got back and if something happened to follow her lead. A few minutes later, they were in front of the common room looking at a sleeping Fat lady and Danny just sighed. “Better asleep then drunk and annoying.” He thought to himself as they made their way inside. He watched a Trinity sat down grabbing one of her books and started reading, asking him if he was going to bed, without even looking at him. “I guess I probably should but I know I probably wouldn’t be able too.” Danny said with a sigh looking around the empty common room. “Today seems to have a problem with me and I’ve got a problem with it.” Danny remarked looking into the fireplace and the wood crackled in the flames. “Also I got only a couple weeks to find a duplicating spell, unless you know one of those too?”
(I don't know if you were trying to end the post there or not, I can always change the ending if you wanted too so it's finished off ;D.)
