An increase in temperature had drawn a handful of students to the grounds on the breezy February day. It wasn't exactly warm, but the winter cold had went away for the moment, and the wet beginnings of spring had started with the melting of the snow. Drake sat on a bench in the middle of the courtyard, his eyes fixed on the water which flowed from the top of the fountain to the bottom. An endless cycle which repeated over and over again. Unlike the muggle fountains which used a motor to circulate the water, Drake was certain that this water was being moved by magic. It was a mundane concept: watering fountains and the like. They just sat there, serving no purpose but for enjoyment. Yet, what was so enjoying about watching water flowing? Drake found nothing enjoying about it. He did, however, enjoy the silence, which was only being drown out by the sound of running water.
With a flick of his wrist, Drake uttered the incantation which would stop the bloody water from making so much noise. It froze, not into ice, and Drake smirked to himself at his pointless action. He was the only one around though, so nobody was there to complain. Even if they had complained, Drake wouldn't have cared. Then, as he starred at the still water, he caught a glimpse of someone else approaching. Hopefully they weren't coming to watch the fountain.

Long brown hair slipped behind her shoulder as Seana Melling moved across the courtyard. Her brown eyes were taking in the handful of students who had decided, as she had, that the walls of Hogwarts were too confining. It was nice to be able to get out and move about for a while. The cold, desolate winter was finally drawing to an end, which meant that the flowers would begin to bloom again. It seemed like such a simple thing, but Seana found simplicity to be life’s greatest pleasure. At least she was beginning to learn this between her boyfriend and her twin sister. Sometimes things were never simple around the two of them…and she had a sinking sensation that they never would be simple. What was it about love that made everything so complicated…whether it was love for family or friends, or boyfriend…it was always so bloody complicated.
Seana didn’t have much time to contemplate this manner like she had hoped. Instead she found herself nearing the fountain, which was frozen in place. Her brows arched up in confusion before she spotted a figure sitting not to far from it on a bench. The smirk fell across her lips when she noticed it was Drake Manning, a fellow 7th year Slytherin. She slipped out her wand and pointed it at the fountain, her nonverbal spell causing the water to start running again. Her form stepping in to the fountain, as she completely ignored Drake. Pretending she had not seen him at all until she moved fully into his sight line. Her form feigned a jump in ‘surprise’ as she glanced over at him. “Oh I’m sorry Drake…I didn’t see you there.”

What the hell? Drake's attention was drawn back to the fountain as the water began flowing again. He was certain that it had stopped for him, and he was quite sure that the spell couldn't have worn off that quickly. Even if he didn't really do well in most classes due to his lack of caring, Charms was his best subject. When he wanted to get a charm right, he did.
As he pieced it all together, Drake suddenly realized what must have happened. It turned out that a fellow seventh year Slytherin was the one who was approaching, and it was just like Seana Melling to do something as simple as a spell reversal to irritate Drake. At least she wasn't as cruel as her twin sister though. Drake knew better than to mess with that Melling.
"Like hell you didn't see me," Drake slurred, rolling his eyes as Seana took a seat. He casually flicked his wand again, sending a glare her way as the water stopped. He was sure she would be amused by his obvious annoyance, but that didn't stop him. Seana was a tolerable girl, Drake assessed, much more tolerable than some of the others he had come across. She seemed to have an odd sort of maturity about her though. Drake always did wonder how she ended up with someone like Landon Kerr.
"Where's the ball and chain? He's let you free today?" Drake cocked a taunting eyebrow.

Seana smirked as she took a seat on the edge of the fountain in front of Drake, her amusement increasing as she watched his frustrated face. The sound of the fountain stopped once more and Seana’s brown eyes flickered back over her shoulder once before she settled her gaze on Drake Manning. Her eyes moved over him, taking in his appearance and dress attire as she tapped her wand against her palm lightly while she studied him.
“Are you calling me a liar Drake? One of your old flirts? And here I thought I meant more to you than that,” Seana said with amusement as her hand came down and she tapped the edge of the fountain with her wand, reversing his spell once again. She wouldn’t have done it the second time if he had just been cool with it the first time, but since he was irritated it made it all the more amusing to her.
“Ball and chain?” Seana asked as she raised from her sitting position, moving toward Drake and then moving behind him, a hand running over his shoulders as she leaned down, her lips next to his ear. “Jealous Drake? Do you wish you were in his place?” Seana asked in a low, husky voice as her hands moved around the front of his shoulders and across his chest. “You had your chance…” She smirked before pulling up, he hands sliding off his shoulders as she moved to sit down beside him, facing the opposite direction as him. She leaned back until her hands found a spot at the ledge of the bench so she was at least somewhat comfortable as she looked over to her left to see him clearly. “How’s the mental case doing? Does she remember you yet?” Seana couldn’t help herself, knowing the Nightingale case backward and forward…if there was one thing the Melling twins were good at it was hearing gossip.

Drake rolled his eyes. “Jealous isn’t in my vocabulary. When I want something, I get it. You should know that, Seana.” He gave her a devilish grin. “Don’t you remember fifth year in the library? Oh wait… maybe that was Shanna.” He laughed, enjoying the fact that Seana knew his game and was willing to play along. That always made it more fun. As her hand traced over him, Drake felt a chill slide down his back. Any time a woman grazed their hand along the back of his neck, Drake couldn’t help but perk up a bit. Her hands slid to his chest, and then Seana was sitting beside him. He took a deep breath. Damn her for knowing how to control his attention. He turned his head away, resisting her attempts to taunt him.
It didn’t matter if Drake could block her out physically though. Seana had quickly moved on with a verbal game now. Brining up the one subject that was sure to rile Drake to his core. “She’s not mental,” he said coolly. “It was amnesia, and it passed. Drake bit his tongue, refusing to let it get to him. India was no good for him, he concluded. She was a drug. An addiction. And just like any addiction, Drake was unable to give her up. He couldn’t forget about her. She was more powerful than even his alcohol, and everyone knew how much Drake loved a good drink.
“If that’s your way of testing my relationship status, you should know that it wouldn’t matter.” He attempted to turn the game around. “All you have to do is say those three little words, and Landon will never have to know.” He was pushing her, wanting to see how far she’d play the game until she cracked. He knew her limit would be farther than most though. After all, this was Seana he was dealing with. Seemed she had one of the best wits of the Slytherin girls. Drake eyed her with curious anticipation, waiting her response.

Seana grinned wide at Drake as she tilted her head to look at him. “The library? Hmmm…must have been Shanna, because I just do not remember it,” she smirked as she ran her tongue over her lips. She enjoyed teasing Drake…there was just something about him that had always made her enjoy it far more than the rest of the boys. Landon had been like Drake once…but she’d tamed him and she loved him, she truly did, but Seana was not a girl that was going to back down from a challenge or a game. Landon knew that…and he trusted her, which was why they had lasted as long as they had. It was the perfect relationship for both of them.
Hazel eyes landed on her nails as the smile caught on her face. Drake was denying the mental comment, which means he truly did care for her. It was as good as a confirmation to a Melling girl and she couldn’t stop herself from winking in a flirtatious manner at him. “Ah yes…amnesia. That of course is the reason why she forgot all about you…how could anyone forget you?” Her hand moved then, fingers lightly dancing her way from his wrist up to his shoulder in feather light touches.
That was when Drake made his biggest mistake…he challenged her. Drake Manning challenged her! Seana was a bit surprised by his words, but the smirk was bigger and brighter than ever as she slipped her leg over onto his side of the bench and then smoothly her body moved to straddle him. The huge smirk was written on her face as she wrapped her arms around Drake’s neck, one leg on either side of him resting on the bench. “And what words are those love?” Her head bent a little, her lips pulling back so her teeth could find Drake’s lip and bite it gently, her tongue flicking across his bottom lip before she let it go slowly. Her voice was husky and low once again, as she moved to whisper in his ear. “The question is not how far I’m willing to go…it’s how far you are willing to go?”

With subtle movement and careful positioning, Seana has ended up with one leg on either side of Drake's lap, her devious smile taunting him with that womanly tact that he had seen so many times before. Her arms extended forward, pulling his head closer to her body, and he could feel her fingernails slightly digging into the skin of his neck. He felt more alive now than he had in weeks. How long had it been? His mind wandered. Too long. Giving in now would be so easy. A breath of relief. Everything inside of him wanted to play the game some more. Push more limits.
"I want you," Drake whispered, pausing a moment to look Seana dead in the eyes. He could see the wild sparkle beneath her black pupils. "Those are the three words, and I'm all yours." She wouldn't do it. Drake would have bet money that she'd back down before saying the words and continuing with the game. Quite frankly, he wasn't so sure how he wanted her to respond, but it didn't change the fact that his heart was beating faster and his skin was getting warmer. Amidst the passion, Drake couldn't get his mind off of her. Not Seana, but India.
"And since when have I been the reserved one?" he asked, still picturing the blonde locks in his mind. Though Seana was the one who had him physically attentive, his mind was on India. It was a battle of wills. Which one was stronger? His gaze settled on Seana. "I'm willing to go all the way." Leaning forward, Drake pressing his lips against hers. He closed his eyes, letting his hands find the smooth skin of her stomach under her shirt. Just like any other time before, Drake's mind never reigned the victor.

Drake’s words came as no shock to Seana…she even smirked as she caught his green eyes. This was the game she had been craving to play for so long. Things with Landon had gotten dull. When a boy was already yours to control some things were lost in the game, but there were some things that had been gained in the process of a relationship as well. Right now though, she wanted the game and everything that went with it. She didn’t care anymore about what was right or wrong…after all it wouldn’t be the first or last time she’d have to tell Landon about her games. It was good they had an understanding.
Seana smirked at his words…how sure they were that she would not continue with their game. Had he forgotten her already? Had he forgotten her resolve…like that of her twin they were much the same. She was going to have to remind him. That was the only thing she could do. He was not the one in control of this situation that was for sure; all he had to do was figure that out now.
When his lips found hers, she responded immediately, goose bumps breaking out over her skin at the touch of his hands along her stomach. She smirked against his lips before drawing back slightly, her tongue sliding out and over his lips before she made a line of soft kisses along his jaw to his earlobe. “I want you,” she whispered in a sultry voice. This was why she always won a challenge…no morals and no regret. There was nothing for her to feel bad about; no regret to cause her to feel bad…the only question was Drake the same way? “I know you want me just as much as I do you Drake. You’ve wanted me since that night 5th year…and now you can have me. So what do you say? Forget the blonde just for right now.” Her grin could not be seen by him as she bit at his ear, her tongue flicking against the lobe she held within her teeth.

There they were, the three words that Drake had indicated. And Seana seemed to have no doubt in speaking them. Her kisses were like a shower of ecstasy as he felt her lips across his face. He was retreating into himself, remembering what it was like to be the Drake of just a year or so ago. This was why he loved being a teenager. These were the moments that kept him going in the past. This was Drake's drug. Drake's addiciton. Aside from the alcohol of course. But this was a different sort of drunkenness.
"Shut up," he said with a gasp, catching his breath between kisses. He wasn't going to let this be about India. He didn't even want this to be about Seana. Drake just wanted this to be about him and his own fulfillment. With his eyes closed, he tried to push everything else out of his mind: the fact that they were out in the open in the courtyard, the fact that all he wanted to think about was India, the fact that Seana was just as manipulative as himself. Drake didn't want to care. He just wanted to feel something. And that's what he did.
Tracing Seana's skin with his hands, Drake moved from her stomach to her back, pulling her closer to him. If she was willing to play the game, Drake was going to take advantage of it. It had been too long since he had allowed himself to give into his boyish ways. "We both know that this is about wanting one thing, and one thing only," he whispered into her ear, closing his eyes and letting the moment take away everything else in his life.

Seana knew that Drake was going to be hers in just a matter of seconds, as his body responded. She had no idea what he was thinking or if he was even thinking at all at this point. This was what she had wanted though and she was not going to back down. The grin was evident on her face even as she continued to trail kisses along Drake’s jaw. To say she wasn’t enjoying herself would be a lie…she was far too like Drake in her addictions. The only difference, her addiction was to win a challenge…and this to her was a challenge…a game and she would be damned if she lost to Drake Manning.
When Drake told her to shut up, she couldn’t stop the soft laugh against his lips. So he truly did care about the Nightingale girl. He wasn’t even going to think of her during this…doubtful…Seana would just have to be sure she kept his mind otherwise occupied. A soft gasp escaped her lips as his hands traced over her skin and he pulled her closer. She grinned wide her hands tracing across the back of his neck. His words made her skin break out in goose flesh as she pulled back enough to pull at Drake’s clothing. There was no point in moving from where they were…this was part of her challenge. There was a danger they’d get caught, but that was the least of her worries as she traced her fingers down Drake’s chest. There were no longer any need for words as she lost herself in the moment, not even caring if someone saw them now.
((that's my attempt at PG-13 for a post...we can just assume things went there and back or you can have someting stop it before it hapens...that my friend is up to you.))
