"Dude, are you ever going to get that pile of laundry done?" Finn asked, sticking up his nose at the growing mountain of dirty shirts and socks that towered beside Bryan's bed. "It's starting to smell in here." Finn laughed, falling backwards onto his bed after tossing his bag off to the side. It had been another long day of classes, and he was mentally tired yet physically in need of some sort of action. His Quidditch senses were itching for some opportunity, and he was eager to just get outside and do something. Looking out the window, he realized that it wasn't exactly an option, the rain was pouring down in sheets. Finn did enjoy the rain and water or swimming in general, but this was a downpour. The rain was coming hard enough to wash him right into the lake.
He eventually gathered the energy to sit up, and then he changed out of his classroom robes and into something more comfortable for the evening. "What are you doing tomorrow evening?" he asked, noticing that Bryan was writing something. Finn assumed he was doing his Potions essay, either that or writing a letter to his mother. "I just wondered, because I'd like to get some extra Quidditch practice in. I need to improve my keeping skills so that I might finally get a starting position on the team next year. If you aren't busy, maybe you could come throw the Quaffle around a bit." Finn knew that Quidditch wasn't a major interest of Bryan's but he was usually willing to at least do some flying with Finn on occasion. "Dad won't quit riding me about the fact that it's my sixth year, and I've still not managed to get a starting spot. He constantly reminds me how Wyatt was the starting Beater for Ravenclaw by his second year." Finn rolled his eyes, though Bryan was probably still focusing on his writing to even notice. "If you're busy though, I can find someone else. Maybe Carson would be willing."
Finn walked over to his own desk, thinking that he too should probably get some homework done. Plus, he didn't want to interrupt Bryan any more than he needed to. It was only a few minutes of sitting and starring at his blank parchment before Finn lost his patience. "Man, aren't you sick of studying. I feel like it's all we do." Ironically, all Finn tended to do was try to find ways to avoid studying. He still managed to get his work done, but not without a lot of forced self motivation and constant pulling himself away from all the distractions. "Let's do something fun." Normally, Finn didn't have to ask Bryan more than once. Then again, his best friend seemed awfully quiet today. Perhaps something was bothering him?

Bryan was sitting at his desk, reading over some Potions assignment he had been given earlier that day, when Finn came into the common room and plopped down on his bed. Finn cracked a joke about his ever growing pile of laundry, and Bryan just drooped his head and chuckled. Spinning around on his chair, he grabbed a particularly stinky pair of boxers and threw them at his best friend, laughing. “As soon as you decide to do it for me, it’ll get done!” Bryan stood up and walked over to the tower of clothes, taking a whiff. “Whew, I guess it might need to be carted off here soon.” He grabbed his hamper and began to stuff the laundry into it. As he cleaned up around his bed, he noticed Finn staring out the window, some kind of anxious look on his face. Must be dreaming about Quidditch or something, he thought.
Just as Bryan had finished sorting through the mess of clothes and random things cluttering his area of the room, Finn asked him about the next evening. He wanted to practice some Quidditch, and even though Bryan wasn’t completely intrigued by the whole Quidditch game, he always loved flying around on his broom and giving Finn a run for his money. “Sure, you’re on for tomorrow night,” Bryan said cockily, intending to show Finn a little less restraint than previous practices. “If your old man wants you to be better, I’m going to have to give you some harder challenges. I’ll definitely give you a good work out tomorrow.” Bryan put the hamper in front of his bed, used his wand and spoke a covering spell so that the smell would lessen. The spell wouldn’t get rid of the smell (only actually washing could do that) but it could mask it until he had a chance to do the duty.
Bryan laid down on his own bed, grabbing his Defense book, intending on reading the assigned chapters for that week. He opened the book, but couldn’t focus on the pages for some reason. He had this inkling to just do something else. But he needed to get the homework done, so he shook it off and refocused. Suddenly, Finn whirled around from his own desk and complained about studying. It was true, it did feel like all they ever did was study. “Let’s do something fun,” Finn said. Knowing Bryan, any other time Finn asked, Bryan would be up for doing any number of things. As it turned out, this time would likely be no different. “Okay Finn. I can’t focus anyway. Plus the chapters aren’t due til the end of the week. Any ideas on what we could do? It’s pouring out, so the rain puts a bit of a damper on going outside.” While he let his best friend think on it, Bryan thought to himself what they could do. There had been some girls outside of the common room on his way back earlier. They likely weren’t there right now, but he remember what they looked like. “There were a couple Huffles we haven’t met yet, we could go look for them. Any sparks flying from your brainstorm, buddy?” He anxiously waited to hear Finn’s response.

"If you don't slip off your broom like last time," Finn said, grabbing his own broom from under his bed. He pretended to be flying around the room and then he mimicked the action of falling off his broom like Bryan had during their last outing to throw around the Quaffle. Luckily, Bryan hadn't been hurt during the time, and Finn remembered almost falling off his own broom because he had been laughing so hard. The memory made him laugh again, but in all seriousness, he was thankful when Bryan did decide to go flying with him. Finn hated flying alone. It just wasn't in his blood despite being in his family.
"You would jump straight to girls, wouldn't you?" Finn raised his brow as he glanced over at his roommate and laughed. "Better put on some cologne then. Because if you smell anything like these, then you'll be sure to stink all the girls away." Finn threw the dirty pair of boxers back at Bryan, making sure to grab them by the waistband and the tips of his fingers. "But I guess we could go check out the common room. See if anybody else is doing anything worthwhile. Finn hated to think that it was likely that the Ravenclaw common room was always filled with students studying and working on homework assignments. He wasn't sure he could live in a house that had such a streak for doing well in classes and actually enjoying the process of learning. Finn wasn't against it, it simply took a lot more to catch his short span of interest. He was much to active to enjoy sitting in a classroom all day.
"Then again, I wouldn't want to make you depressed when all the girls ignore you because they can't get their eyes off my sexy body." Finn flexed his arms as though he were a body-builder. He was fairly built from all of the Quidditch he did play, but he still had much of a boyish appearance. He was tall, but had a lot of growing to do before he truly took on the shape of a man. Laughing again, Finn let out a deep sigh, falling back onto his bed for the second time. "I dunno. I guess if we can't go outside, I'd rather just find something that doesn't require a lot of other people. Odd for me, I know, but I'm just in an odd mood."
He tried thinking of something that the two of them could do before remembering the case of potions that Bryan had got him for Christmas last year. "Hey! What about those viles of Polyjuice potion that you bought me for Christmas? The ones that transform you into a random person for an hour. We could break them out and have some fun with that!"

Bryan laughed at his best friend’s joke, but acted all defensive just to mess with him. “I’ll have you know, Finn, that you nearly fell off your broom as well. Of course it was because you were laughing at me. Geez, sue me. I’m not huge of Quidditch, you know that. It’s your sport.” Bryan remembered that last time he and Finn had practiced. It had been so embarrassing, but it was only in front of Finn, so he quickly laughed it off and he enjoyed that he could joke around with his best friend about their shortcomings. “Besides, you wouldn’t fly alone anyway. Who would chase after you and chuck that Quaffle at you? I’m the best friend you’ve got.” He didn’t want to sound boastful, but he did cherish the friendship he had developed with Finn. They had met during their first year, and had been pretty much inseparable since.
“You know that stink is just from the rest of it. And have you smelled yours lately? I think you’re the one who needs the cologne. But just in case…” Bryan grabbed some spray his mom had sent him a few weeks before and sprayed himself down with just enough, and chucked the bottle at his best friend, totally expecting him to miss it. He then thought of an idea. “Some of the Ravens are cool, but they're probably littering their common room with books and studying, things I don’t want to bother with right now, plus they probably wouldn't let us in anyway. Let’s go somewhere else, like the lounge. I’m sure there are some hotties down there.” Finn seemed to be thinking about something, but then he made some stupid comment about his “sexy body” and Bryan nearly doubled over with laughter. “You’re completely joking right? If anything, they’ll be so intimidated they’ll run away and come to find me later, asking me to protect them from you. Besides, you’re still somewhat of a scrawny little boy.” As he said this, he punched Finn’s arm, expecting him to wince and cry out, so he could laugh at him again.
Finn then explained he was in an odd mood, and only really wanted to be with a few other people, which he understood. “Yeah, I gotcha pal. Sometimes we just need to chill out and keep to ourselves. I get that.” He really did understand more than Finn probably knew, because at times when he went off on walks around the school, he ended up talking or hanging out with people, but at times he walked to get away from people. He always ended up with someone, or a group, but there were times he just wanted to be alone, or at most, just with Finn. His best friend understood this, and they had discussed it at length at times. Finn then suddenly remember about the Christmas present Bryan had bought for him last year, and thought that would make for a fun night. “Sure, where’d you put them? I don’t think we even cracked one of them open last year. Darn OWLs, taking up so much of our time. Thing is, if we do this, you’re going first. It was your idea and your present anyway. Deal?” This was going to be fun. Who knew what kind of person he and Finn could turn into from those potions?

"Hey! Watch it," Finn protested in mock disappointment after Bryan punched him playfully on the arm. "That's my swinging arm. If you mess it up too bad I might accidentally send a rogue Bludger your way." He gave Bryan a joking look of intimidation before heading toward the end of his bed where his trunk was kept. He opened it up, revealing a mess of clutter. It had only been a month or so that they were back at Hogwarts, and already his things were starting to get disorganized. As messy as it might seem though, Finn seemed to know exactly where everything was, or at least the general vicinity if not the exact place. Finding the kit of polyjuice potions, Finn skimmed the directions on the back, failing to pay much attention. He knew the general gist of what the potions would do. Who ever took the time to read directions anyways? Not Finn. "There are five viles of potion," he said, running his finger along the row of glass that held a variety of coloured potions. "I guess there's no telling who you'll turn into." He picked up one of the cylindrical shaped viles and examined the bright blue liquid inside. Finn liked the colour blue, so he figured if he'd be drinking any of them, this would be the one. "You did get the pack which contained all male versions of the potion didn't you?" He flipped the box over and checked the front, noting the male symbol. "Gosh I'd hate to see what you look like as a girl," Finn laughed, popping the cork off the top of the vile. "I guess this is it. For the next hour, I'll look completely different." He hesitated just a second before putting the glass to his lips and tilting his head back as the cerulean liquid drained from the vile and into his mouth. He swallowed and then looked back at Bryan. Nothing happened. "Maybe the potion sat for too long, and now it's not going to..." He felt it. It was an odd feeling, almost as though there were a million bubbles inside of him, each trying to get to the surface. His skin began to ripple, and slowly he felt the transformation take place. Finn held out his palms in amazement, watching his own skin fade away, leaving a new skin behind that was of a man who was probably a good half-dozen years older than himself. His skin was paler, but his arm hair was darker and more profound. He couldn't see what his face looked like, but it did feel like he grew, an inch or two added to his already taller build. Finn reached his hand up and felt his face. There was a layer of scruff, quite more rough and prickly than his own. And his hair- it was longer and more oily feeling. He felt his chin and noticed it was very square and his jaws felt much more defined. The potion had definitely changed him. "Well..." He looked back at Bryan impatiently. He was waiting for some sort of comment. "Do I look anything like myself?" Too impatient to wait for a proper answer, he turned to look in the mirror. "Bloody hell. This potion is brill!" Finn starred at his reflection in the mirror. His own brown eyes were now a vivid blue starring back at him. "Hurry and have a go! We've gotta use this hour to enjoy our new appearance. Go on, drink up!" (( Here is a picture of what Finn now looks like.))

“Dude, we’ve only been here a month. How is all your stuff a mess already? Take a look at my section. Nice and organized, unlike that trunk of yours,” Bryan joked. “What did you pack, everything you own in your entire life in there? I’m surprised you can find my old present.” Bryan just loved giving Finn such a hard time, only because he knew Finn could take it. “You found them!” he exclaimed, when Finn pulled out the bottles of multicolored liquid. “Finn, you never even opened the thing? Thanks a lot man.” Bryan jabbed his best friend again, in his good arm this time. “Yes, I got the male ones. But with your luck, you’ll turn into a woman. Oh wait, too late!” he laughed, loving the jokes he always made with his best friend. He couldn’t wait to see what kind of fun they would have with this new idea of theirs. “Bon Voyage, Finn. See you again in an hour.” Finn drank the liquid quickly, and nothing happened right away. Finn complained that maybe the liquid had been sitting out for too long. “Just hold on, man. It takes a few…” and as he spoke, the change began to set in. He saw the look on his friend’s face. Watching in amazement, Bryan saw his best friend Finn change slowly, first only slight features changing, then colors and major features were removed making way for new ones. He saw all the last remnants of Finn disappear away, letting this new look of a man take full charge. Finn asked, “Well, do I look anything like myself?” As Bryan began to answer, his best friend turned to look at the nearby mirror. “Nope, you look completely different! Well at least you’re not completely a girl. Looks like I got the right kind!” Finn exclaimed at his appearance, and immediate whirled around telling Bryan to take his bottle. After all, they only had an hour. Bryan looked at the box of vials and let his finger slide over three of them, letting his hand rest on the fourth bottle, a brownish green one. “Well I guess this one is as good as any, huh?” He picked up the bottle, eyeing the inscription on the outside, making sure it had the male symbol on the side. He couldn’t take the embarrassment if he accidentally turned into a girl for an hour. Finn would never let him live that down. He lifted the bottle, pulled the cork off and said to his best friend, “Here’s to hoping I don’t come out as blue eyed as you!” He drank the liquid, feeling the cool taste coat his throat. Nothing happened when he finished the bottle and set it down inside the trunk. “It takes a second, just wait,” he assured Finn. As soon as he finished his statement, he felt the bubbles rise up in his body. They were sharp, and all trying to rip out of his body at the same time. It wasn’t painful, it was more of a numbing dull prodding. Bryan looked down at his chest and saw it widen in front of his eyes. His arms grew hairier, and his skin changed color slowly, to a bit of a darker tone than he was used to. He grabbed the back of his head and felt the hair grow exponentially, reaching a length he would have never let his hair ever grow to on its own! “Am I looking better than you yet?” he jokingly asked Finn, still with his blue eyes piercing through him. Suddenly the bubbles inside of him stopped, and he knew the transformation was complete. “I know you’re going to tell me I look like some girl, so get out of the way of the mirror!” He lightly pushed his best friend over and looked at himself in the mirror. This was definitely an interesting look for him. He whirled around to eye his best friend. “What now, buddy? Should we go freak some people out?” He was anxious to get out of the room and see what people thought of their new looks. (( Here is what Bryan looks like now.))

Finn watched Bryan closely when it was his turn to drink the polyjuice potion. While watching though, Finn couldn't help but stare at himself in the mirror. It was so amazing how real the change was. The kit of potions must have cost a lot of money since polyjuice potion wasn't a simple potion to brew. Bryan didn't really have an excess of money to be buying Finn gifts like that. In fact, Finn was the one who had the money to spare. Having a father who had played Quidditch at one point did a lot to make the family well off. Plus, with Wyatt playing, the Miles never seemed to have any money problems at all. Knowing that Bryan would spend all that money on this pack of potions made Finn a bit guilty for seeming to have not cared much for the gift by just throwing it in his trunk and forgetting it all this time. But now... now that they were using it, Finn wondered why they hadn't got it out a lot earlier.
Seeing that the transformation had taken place, he looked back and Bryan, failing to prevent the sudden bursts of laughter from escaping his lips. "Dude! You look... you look like a monkey or something!" He laughed even harder as he walked closer to Bryan to get a better look. "What is this?" he asked, reaching to grab the long, curly locks of hair that seemed to have a mind of their own. "And... and this?" he asked, laughing as he pointed to the tuft of hair that poked out of Bryan's robes where his chest was. "You're like the Wooly Mammoth!" Finn knew Bryan wouldn't mind all of his joking. Plus, it was only an hour that Bryan had to be the Beast from the East. Most likely, Bryan would be happy to have picked the potion that turned him into such an odd looking person, nothing like himself.
One thing was for sure though, Bryan no longer looked like a sixteen year old boy. He was more like a thirty year old man. It'd be kind of hard to blend in with his current look. As for Finn, he was a bit older looking than normal, but he might be able to pass as a mature eighteen year old. There was no way Bryan would blend in with the teenagers that would be surrounding them once outside the common room. "Go shave your face," he said quickly. "If you want to have a chance of blending in at all, you'll need to shave off as many years as possible. And... that hair. Do something with that." Finn grabbed Bryan by the shoulder, spinning him around and pushing him in the direction of the bathroom. "Hurry. I'll grab you a change of clothes. Something more... young?" He wasn't sure what he'd get, but he was determined to make sure he and Bryan could enjoy their new disguises.
Rushing to his trunk, Finn found a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Classic teenager. Then, he grabbed a sweatshirt which had a hood on it. Perfect for concealing some of Bryan's face. It was cold enough too that a sweatshirt would be expected. Taking the clothes, he opened the bathroom door and threw them in. "Wear these. I'm going to change and then meet me at the entrance to the common room. Whatever you do, just don't look at people in the eyes." Finn laughed again as he went back into the room. He found an outfit for himself and hurried to change. Then, being as careful as he could to not be seen, Finn made his way to the common room entrance as he waited for the caveman to arrive. "Where are you Bryan?" he said, looking down at his watch, anticipating the fun that they were about to have. "Ah, the Beast has arrived," he said, turning to see Bryan behind him, the hood of the sweatshirt over the dark curly hair. "Not too bad," he said. "We just might pull this off." A mischievous smile crossed Finn's face. "So, where to first?"

Bryan couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw how hairy and...old he looked in the mirror after only about fifteen seconds. He knew what the polyjuice potions could do, but he had never experienced it before. This was unlike anything he had ever experienced. He was glad now that he had decided to spend some extra money on his best friend for some fun. Yes the stuff was more than he was used to spending on a gift, but it was definitely worth it, especially now. He loved the fun that he and Finn could have, and he also knew that today would be no different. The transformation ended and he looked in the mirror, nearly falling over from laughter over how crazy he looked. Apparently Finn couldn’t keep it in either because he nearly died from laughter as he looked on at Bryan’s full transformation. Finn laughed at him and started going through all the new (and quite hilarious) new features on Bryan’s body, starting with his long curly black hair. “Yeah man, where did that come from? I wonder who’s body this even is!” he exclaimed, meanwhile laughing as Finn noticed his new found chest hair that poked out of his robes. “I am not that bad! The wooly mammoth has quite more hair than me. I’ve only got about half...or so,” he said as he couldn’t help but keep laughing. He lightly shoved Finn for the comment, laughing more as he looked around for something else to wear, because this new look was much older.
It seemed that Finn noticed the same thing Bryan did, because he started looking around for teenager like clothes, the same as Bryan was. Finn told him to go shave his face, and as he said that, Bryan felt his face and realized there was much more facial hair than he had ever had! He didn’t want to shave it off right away, but because of Finn’s insistence, he did. He didn’t want to scare people too much, but it was fun anyway. As Bryan went to the bathroom and shaved quickly, Finn found some appropriate clothes and threw them into the room for him. “Meet me at the entrance to the common room. Whatever you do, just don’t look people in the eyes.” He heard him laughing as he probably was going to change. Bryan finished shaving quickly, trying to hide some of the random pokes of chest hair under his shirt. “Geez, where did all this hair come from?” he asked himself. He struggled to get some of the clothes on then, because as it was, this was definitely not a teenager size body. The clothes would fit him any other time, because he and Finn were at least close to the same size. Finn was a little broader in his chest area than he was, but the clothes would have fit just the same. Now that he had what seemed to be a 40 year old body, he was sure these clothes would not suffice his needs whatsoever.
Bryan cleaned himself up a bit more and then threw some shoes on, his bigger size that he didn’t wear anymore. They fit snugly on his old man feet, and he ran down the short hallway to the entrance of the common room. He saw that Finn was waiting there for him, (or whoever Finn had transformed into) and he seemed anxious to see what people thought of their new looks. Bryan had to look at his friend twice before he realized it was Finn in the new body. “Woah, didn’t recognize you at first, buddy. Get a makeover or something?” He laughed hard at his own joke, even though it wasn’t that funny. Bryan had pulled a big sweatshirt over his head as he approached Finn, and Finn looked at him in approval. “Not too bad,” he said. “We just might pull this off.” Finn smiled at him with one of those devilish smiles and asked him where they should go. “Well I was thinking because of the time of day, we could try the library. There’s usually first and second year girls and guys in there around now, and they probably don’t have a clue what this stuff is.” As he spoke, he realized that his normal voice didn't match his physique at all, which made things even more odd. He looked at Finn and said simply, “Shall we? Let’s give some fresh students a bit of a scare.”

"The library it is then," Finn said, wasting no time being indecisive. When they only had an hour to begin with, he knew it'd pass sooner than they'd realize. No sense in wasting such a fun opportunity to be someone else for an hour. The ironic thing about being disguised as someone else though was that neither Finn or Bryan were the type to really care what people thought about them, at least not when it came to looking foolish. They were always finding themselves in seemingly embarrassing situations which were a result of their fun times together. Granted, they were getting older and a bit more serious, but Finn had always enjoyed the times when they could act like they were thirteen again without much worry.
Side by side, the two boys walked to the library, receiving a few odd stares from the people they passed. The beauty of it all though was that nobody would be any the wiser to realize that it was Finn and Bryan behind the unfamiliar faces. It only made it that much more amusing. As then entered the library, Finn had a brilliant idea which didn't involve having fun with younger students. He had his eyes set on a bigger target: Madame Pince.
Walking over to the book circulation desk, he whispered to Bryan before they were in earshot of Madame Pince. "Just play along." His whisper had to be quieter than normal, considering that Madame Pince had the ears of a bat. In fact, she did look a bit batty herself. Flashing a rather impish grin, Finn walked up to the counter, crossed his arms, and laid them down with a heavy thump. He was quite confident in Bryan's ability to play along, so long as his friend didn't start laughing once he realized what Finn was about to do.
Madame Pince turned and looked slightly annoyed when she heard Finn loudly make his appearance. "Can I help you?" she said, her voice sweet yet terse and to the point. Apparently librarians weren't known to mess around. Straight and narrow, which made Finn's plan even that much more hilarious. "Yes you can," Finn said, adding a bit more accent to his already strongly recognizable one. He needed to make sure that she (or anyone nearby) could recognize him from his voice. "You see... my friend here," Finn motioned toward Bryan with a rather sympathetic sort of gesture. "...he's got sort of a problem." Finn bit his lip, watching both Madame Pince and Bryan flash him a look of slight confusion. He nudged Bryan with his elbow innocuously as to remind him that he needed to play along. "What sort of problem?" Madame Pince asked, her patience clearly wearing thin after only a few seconds of dealing with the two boys. "Well..." Finn started, tilting his head and letting out a small sigh. At that point, he dropped his voice to a whisper, something that Madame Pince might appreciate. "... he's got some sort of rash. Dragon Pox, perhaps? And it's..." another pause. Finn used his finger to point downward in a tiny motion as his face flashed a look of mixed sympathy and complete hilarity. "... it's down there. You know..." he didn't get any further before Madame Pince looked utterly disgusted and cut him off.
"No, I do notknow," she said in a shrill voice that caused the students to look her way. "And I think that this problem should be addressed with Madame Pompfrey and not myself." Finn gave a look of apology but was really trying to stop himself from bursting out with laughter. "I'm sorry," he said quickly, knowing that they needed to walk away before the laughter won the battle. "I just thought you might be able to provide a good book recommendation on the issue, but I guess we'll see what Madadme Pompfrey has to say. Thank you!" Finn turned, biting his lip as he pulled Bryan away and back around a book shelf such that they were out of sight and hearing range of Madame Pince. Then, the laughter overcame him.

Bryan followed Finn quickly to the library, nearly losing it each time they looked at each other. It was truly a sight to see, these two teenage boys suddenly turned into fully grown (and hairy) men. He walked side by side with Finn, noticing the odd stares and people gasping within the large room that housed all the books that had ever passed through the doors of the school. Bryan noticed that Finn had a target in mind, rather than the few students that littered the library. It seemed like he was going for Madame Pince. Bryan gasped but covered his mouth as they got close to the circulation desk.
Bryan leaned on the desk as Finn did, because he best friend had directed him to simply play along with whatever he did. Finn obviously knew Bryan well, because Bryan was definitely the kind to just play along with jokes and pranks. Usually he was the one to crack up with laughter first, but this time around it seemed to be okay. He was able to keep a straight face. The woman turned around and looked at the two “men” in front of her and asked if she could help them. He stood there listening as his best friend described their situation. As Finn explained that Bryan had some sort of rash, even using the simple term of DragonPox, it was nearly too much for Bryan to contain. Then Finn made mention of where the rash was, and he just looked at Madam Pince and made a motion of scratching himself, and giving her a look of intense pain.
She seemed furious, saying that she had no idea what the boy was talking about, and that they needed to see Madame Pompfrey if they needed more help. Bryan apologized, as did Finn, and they both scurried off to just outside the library before the laughter overcame both of them. They had a good long laugh and Bryan nearly coughed up a lung trying to catch his breath back from laughing so hard. “Wow, Finn. I didn’t know you could improvise that well!” he exclaimed, applauding his best friend. He felt a jab of something weird on his side, but as he put his hand where he had felt it, he didn’t feel anything. Odd.
“So where to next, buddy?” As he spoke the words, he looked over at Finn and realized he was changing slightly. “Oh no, has it been an hour already?” he asked, but Bryan already knew the answer to his own question. He reached his hand up to his long oily hair and felt it shortening in his grasp. “Bloody hell. I doubt that was an hour. Guess we better head back to the Common Room before we’re seen in these ridiculously large clothes. Come on Finn, fun’s over.” He patted his best friend on the back, and they exploded in laughter again as they walked to the Common Room. All in all, it had been quite the fun day, and he was glad he had spent the extra money on his best friend. This day had been worth it.
