((I'm going to put this as a PG-13 rating due to the reference of drug use and sexual context))
A lazy smirk fell over Josephine Bowman’s lips as her bloodshot eyes landed on the girls present at the Valentine’s Ball. She found the whole thing ridiculous and honestly couldn’t even remember signing up for it…though it may have been during that long night of firewhiskey she’d had with Stephen Donahue not too long ago. Of course most of her nights were filled with firewhiskey now…or filled with some other mind-altering element. Tonight it was not whiskey that had her smirking. No…it was something far better. Her lips twisted up again into a wider smile as her blue eyes lit on the man she assumed was her date as he was the only one left unpaired. Now this was sure to be an amusing night as he was definitely not a Slytherin. In fact Jo knew him from Quidditch, he was a Hufflepuff…something Miles.
Usually it was customary for the man to come find the woman as they were the ones with the names of their dates, but at that moment Josephine was in no mood to be kept waiting. She pulled up from the wall, her black dress clinging tightly to her lithe form…she caught the eye of several men from houses she couldn’t place and her smile widened. Lately she’d taken to being more risky…or sluttish, as some would call it. It didn’t bother her though as she slipped through the other couples until she stood in front of the older Hufflepuff. On a normal basis Josephine probably would have thrown a complete hissy fit to be paired with someone like him, but she was definitely not minding at that point…or at least she was too high to care.
Josephine tilted her head to the side as she raised an eyebrow at Miles. “Weren’t planning on ditching me were you? Cause really Mr. Miles I would have just found you later and tormented you then,” she said with a slow amused tone of voice. It was clearly obvious she wasn’t in her right mind…or more to the point it was clearly obvious she was higher than a kite. Stephen was doing a fairly good job of supplying her with mind-numbing drugs. Anything to keep her from remembering…to keep her from feeling. That’s what she wanted after all…to stop feeling the pain. She slipped her arm into Miles’s. “Aren’t you going to ask me to dance? After all this is a ball…we’re supposed to be dancing…unless you want to do something else.” She smirked devilishly at him as her tongue slid over her lips in a clearly sexual manner. Her blue eyes completely enraptured by the prospect of the situation.
