What, you didn't believe me when I said 'coming soon'? Well, more fool you. The Hoscars 2008 are here! Awards are given out to those people that have excelled in particular categories, and you get to choose who those awards go to. This year we've lost only two awards, and gained eight! Read below carefully to find out what to do.
This is the nomination phase of the Hoscars. You may nominate up to TWO people/threads/plots for each category. The top nominees will then be placed on the official Hoscars ballot for voting. Please do not nominate your own characters or plots. You may nominate threads that you are involved in. Please PM your nominations to me. The nomination period will end in one week at 0AM Eastern American Time, February 9th.
So, onto the new awards! If you want an explanation of the ones we had last year, it can be found here. The new awards this year are in a new 'Plots' category. I'm sure that many of you will use the Plot Guideboard - well, now you have the chance to nominate your favourite plots for Hoscars! You should give me the name of the plot given on the Plot Guideboard when nominating. The Plot Character awards are for those who you think have played out their part in a plot the best. Please include which plot you're nominating them for their part as well as the character's name for these awards.
Please remember to give me the url of the threads that you nominate. It is helpful if you give me the url and the title of the thread separately, but the url is vital. I do not want to go searching through boards to find a thread you've only given me the name of and I will not accept nominations which do not have a url.
You may only nominate ONCE, regardless of how many characters you have.
