Recently half of Gryffindor's house points were diminished by a thoughtless, unnecessary act of negligence. May I remind you that a single person choosing to neglect these strict rules will be punished, and unfortunately the entire house is made to feel its impact. This is extremely unfair on those who have worked hard to earn those house points. You are all an asset of Gryffindor and should therefore behave accordingly. I wish on behalf of all other prefects in Gryffindor that we rally together and keep up the pride of our house. Currently we are in last place; we are losing to the Slytherins, which is simply unacceptable. The Ravenclaws are once again in the lead, and we cannot let them win the House Cup for a second year in a row.
So work well in classes, get your homework in on time, and most of all, abide by the rules, as they will most certainly affect Gryffindor if you break them and later found and punished. Do it not only for yourself, but for the pride of your friends, and your fellow Gryffindors.
