That was it; the brutal audition process that had taken up all of her final year was over and the brutal classes that would take up her next years had yet to start. This was really her last break until she finished her program, this was really the last time she got to be a witch for more than a few hours at a time… she was certainly going to enjoy it. A farewell trip they had called it, Lenora was sure even they didn’t know how right they were. She had made it into her dream program, at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, one of only 32 students that year who did… and now that would be her life. Lenora touched the wood of the bunk bed she would be sharing as though it were precious, as though she could hold onto the fact that she was a witch just as literally. Sure, she had grown up balancing the worlds, going to muggle school while shopping in Diagon Alley… but this time… it wasn’t the same. She hadn’t been in the muggle world for real in years, and she hadn’t been so in the magical world back then… but she could do it. She would not give up her identity as a witch even if she had to hide it every hour of every day that went by. The cottage was silent, Lenora could hear some bird or other singing out in the forest but in the cabin she was alone. It was peaceful, almost naggingly so, she could hear the silence of the cabin in the back of her skull. It was so different from her home just outside London where there were always people coming and going, out of the house, out of the neighbourhood, out to the city. It would be a nice break, she just had to unpack and wait for her friends to arrive. Unpacking things into a drawer in the dresser Lenora realised just how over packed she was. She probably wouldn’t even be needing one sweater it was so warm, never mind three. It didn’t matter, at least she was prepared. Whatever came at her, she was prepared…

A Farewell Trip The thought of the idea for this summer trip Hogwarts was hosting for it's students ran through her mind over and over. There was rarely anything good about farewells, and seeing as how a few of her friends were graduating this year, the trip really was a farewell trip. It gave her a chance to spend time with some of her closest friends. That was something she hadn't been able to do much this past year, with everything that had been going on. Classes had been brutal on Sadie this year and everything that had once seemed under her control was slipping out of her grasp. She welcomed the idea of not having to stay all summer at that horrid apartment that she had gotten. She scolded herself for never thinking the idea of a roommate during the summer was a good one. But then again, Sadie had time to herself to think during the summer, time to figure things out. She didn't need that this year. She had found her mom's diary already and had realized that she was actually a pureblood, but that wasn't going to change who she had become. She wasn't going to start acting like the Slytherin purebloods, who thought themselves better than everyone else. She was determined to be the same Sadie, just with a bit more confidence in the up coming year.
A trip to Llanrhystud Centre for Art was something inspiring to Sadie. Ever since she had heard of the Centre one day in Hogsmeade, she had wanted to visit it. Art was Sadie's outlet, and while she couldn't sing or dance like most students, she loved to sketch and paint. A few classes were supposed to take place during this trip and that excited her. Sadie knew that her cabin mates were to be her closest friends and she couldn't wait to be able to spend time with them doing the things that friends do. Sadie had been friends with some of the older students ever since her second year, and had always really appreciated them wanting her as a friend.
Looking around as she arrived at the Centre, Sadie couldn't wait to find her cabin and her friends. The Centre was an artist's dream, with endless landscapes which appeared to Sadie as to be somewhat changing. She wanted so badly just to drop her things and dig out her sketchpad. Friends first, then time for sketching She reminded herself as she came near the cabin. It didn't sound like anyone had made it to the cabin just yet, but Sadie was shocked when she opened the door to find Lenora already unpacking. Sadie pulled her bag into the cabin. "Isn't this place just amazing?" She asked Lenora trying not to startle her. "I could almost stay here forever, that is of course as long as my friends stayed too." Sadie laughed with the end of her last sentence. She had hardly seen Lenora the whole year, and the two had agreed to be cabin mates. Sadie moved her luggage toward the dresser and picked a drawer close to Lenora's. Opening her bag, Sadie revealed that she had only packed tee shirts and jeans. She had one simple black hooded sweater for the whole trip. Putting it all away in the drawer, she remembered that her sketchbook was in her shoulder bag. "Wonder where the others are?" She said looking out the window of the cabin. Sadie felt as if she couldn't get enough of the view. Sadie was glad to be anywhere but in the house with the Do'Urdens, staying with Arya and her family had been Arya's suggestion, but it had not been the easiest thing Sadie had ever done.
