Celia sighed as she made the final preperations to the room of requirement ready for the second official BBBs meetings. She, along with the other committee members, had spent the morning setting up the room, decorating it, preparing food (or picking up the food they'd requested from the house elves and arranging it all along the long table at the end of the room. They'd also spent the past week or so putting up posters and notifying the members about the meeting, and they all hoped that everyone would turn up. It had been 3 months since the last meeting, and it was about time they had another meeting, despite the various changes in pairings and the committe since then. All changed pairs had been notified, and she hoped that everything was secure.
She hoped that the pairs had stayed in contact over the past few months. Yes, she understood how busy everyone was, but the idea of the scheme was that the pairs would meet up regularly, and spend time with each other. The older ones would guide the younger ones, and the younger ones would benefit from the help and guidance, and generally be able to confide in their older "sibling". She often feared that the pairs didn't meet up, but she just kept assuring herself that they did. She didn't have a younger sibling of her own (Well, in BBBS, she had Amy back at home), but she knew she'd try to keep as much contact with them as was possible if she did.
She looked around and made sure that everything was set up and ready for the meeting. There was still about 1/2 an hour before the meeting was due to start, so she decided to look around for people and remind them that the meeting was starting soon, hoping they wouldn't forget. Luckily everyone she came across, even though some looked busy, knew about the meeting. Having looked in quite a few places around the school, she looked at her watch and decided to make her way back up to the room of requirement to meet the others again. By that time a lot of the other members had arrived and made theirselves at home, taking something to eat and drink and meeting their partners. She had a feeing that this meeting would be successful.
