Timothy was thinking about his trip back home to his foster parents and how he had found out that his father had been cheating on his mother. Timothy never had respect for his father, he always knew something was up. Timothy still couldn't believe that his mother went all this time knowing what he was doing but never stood up for her self. Timothy knew that his father was stronger, but she should have of done something. Timothy was going over the fight in his head, over and over again. This was like a bad dream to Timothy, it was a nightmare he could not wake from. Timothy laid at night, last night, tossing and turning in his sleep. He kept picturing his mother being hurt, beaten, and pushed around by his father and there was nothing he could about it. He hated the thought of his mother being helpless. Timothy had always protected her from his father, so how did he not protect her from this? Timothy swore he would never go back there, but he had to. Timothy couldn't just leave his mother there with out any help to fend off Randall, his father, Timothy knew that the restraining order wasn't enough to keep Randall away. Timothy was already stressed enough with school and friends and of course girls, he didn't need some stupid, drunk, cheating, of a father to be messing things up with his family, what was left of it anyways.
Timothy had been having a great year so far. Timothy kept meeting new people that were either in the same year or above, but never noticed them. Timothy loved having friends, lots of them. Timothy knew that the more friends he had that, it meant the more people that trusted him. Timothy always used this for his advantage. Timothy liked to be in power also, maybe it was the Slytherin, in him. Timothy knew that his real father was a Ravenclaw but he loved being a Slytherin, and hated Ravenclaws'. Timothy didn't think that the people were all that bad but the way they were. Timothy tried to keep his friends within the Slytherins'. Timothy knew what kind of people they were and how to react toward them. Although having friends that were Gryffindors', Timothy hated having friends outside of the Slytherin family. Timothy often found himself hiding himself talking to his friends. This Timothy hated. Timothy wanted more friends were he didn't have to hide from his true friends. Timothy knew this all made no sense but in a way it did. Timothy tried to keep his mind clear and focused for his classes but that never seemed to work, Timothy was often distracted.

Samuel left the Slytherin common room, and headed to the library. He clutched a small pile of books, about quidditch which he had taken out, at the start of term. Ever since Samuels his first year at Hogwarts, he began to take out books about quidditch and he had read every single one, of them over 100 times each, but he need something to read until the next issue of Snitch Tastic, came out. He had learnt everything he know about quidditch from these books, and could probably recite it all back, from memory, but never the less he still found it interesting, and a fun way to test his knowledge. He arrived at the library and pushed the door open, and entered a dimly light room, he walked straight over to the desk were the Liberian sat smiled and said
“I’m here to return these books” in a polite tone knowing that by befriending the Liberian, as he had done since first year, he could take as many books out as he wanted, and be put to the top of the waiting list, every time.
There were only a handful students sitting, in the arm chairs around the fire. No one really liked the Library, due to it being related to homework. But Samuel didn’t mind it, it was a quiet place to relax and read his favourite books, he left his old book on the Liberians desk and walking over to the far corner of the room and picking up a book from the bookshelf and settling himself down in an empty arm chair, and got comfortable, and began to read, looking around he saw that Timothy a fellow slythering in the same year as Samuel, thought they haven't spoken much Samuel still had a slight edge of respect for him
"Hey Tim you alright" he asked noticing time looked kind of down and glum "I take it your annoyed about gryffindor defeat over hufflepuff" he said referring to the recent quidditch match. Thought he himself didn't like the fact that gryffindor had one he still though it was a good match.

Timothy was in deep thought about his Randall and how he could be hurting his beloved mother as he sat there in the library so far way from her and there was nothing that he could to to stop it.that was , maybe, the worst thing that Timothy thought alol day. His mother being helpless, and maybe even being killed by Randall. It was at times like these that Timothy was glasd that Randall wasn't his biological father. If he was then Timothy would have killed himself many years ago. The only bad thing about that is that Timothy would definatly not be around to protect his mother. Timothy was written a letter froom home, by his mother, and she had told him that Randall did not come around the house at all anymore and that he hadn't called. This was the best news he had gotten in his whole life. Timothy was oh so glad that Randall was finally stayign away from his mother. Timothy began to think that maybe he had scared Randall just enough so he would understand that if he came around the house anymore that Timtohy would make him wish he wasn't born, no matter what the rules are about not using magic out side Hogwarts. That was Timothy's only intentions, was to scare him. Timothy would never disobey the rules, Hogwarts was the only place he felt like he was where he belonged.
Timothy was shaking his head and acting like he was talking to himself as though he wasn't, when he heard a fimiliar voice call to him. Timothy looked up and with out knowing he had a look on his face, his look was a look he usually gave to people when he didn't know them and didn't feel like getting to know them. When Timothy saw it was a Slytherin that he had seen around, his look lightened to a friendly look and he laughed as he was asked, "I take it your annoyed about gryffindor defeat over hufflepuff". Timothy was a bit upset that Gryffindor had won the match, Timothy didn't really pay much attention to the matches unless Slytherin was playing. Timothy nodded his head and with a bit os sarcasim,"Well, it was a good game, if you like watching babies play a grown up game" Timothy refered to the Gryffindors' and Hufflepuff and also the Ravnclaws as babies because he thought that Slytherins' were way more mature then everyone else. Timothy couldn't help but laugh at his own joke. Timothy then asked Samuel his own question" Sam...you alright? No your fine, your reading a book....." Timothy loved joking around with his Slytherin buddies because they never got emotional about them or took them the wrong way like the other houses did. Timothy hoped that Samuel wouldn't be like a Huffle and take his joke the wrong way. Timothy knew how much Samuel loved reading and that was the only reason why he made his joke about it.
