Hey, I'm sending this to your office because I know If I send this to the house, you'll think it's just another bill from Gringotts. The Hogwarts seal does look a lot like the Gringotts seal after all.

Anyway, I have some really really good news that might just solve our debt problems. I just got a job. And not any job either. I got a job as EDEN SWEDEN'S GUITARIST! I'll get to go on tour with her and everything. The first rehersal with the band is next weekend, and they want you to sign some forms to make sure you say it's okay. And I know this means you'll be seeing me even less than usual, but we really need this! I really need this.

So, what do you say? Can I join Eden's band?

Dear Racecar,

It was smart of you to send that letter to the office, although I did get a bit scared when I received something from Hogwarts. At first I thought those damn Gringotts goblins had found the address to my office, but then when I saw the Hogwarts seal I thought it was Sprout calling to let me know you've gotten into some trouble. (or to try and 'reconnect' with past students like me.) But, now that I know the goblins aren't following me and you're not in trouble, (as far as I know anyway...If you are in trouble...then I don't want to know about it ) I'm very glad to hear you've gotten yourself a good job. I'll sign the papers, but I better get some free tickets to go see my baby brother live in concert. I'll miss you so much! But anyway, Enough about your brand new job. I wanna hear how school is going. I don't want to know about you failing Potions or something, cuz that's not what I mean. Have you finally found a girlfriend? You can't hide her from me forever! I was recently speaking to Ethan and his girlfriend in Hogsmeade and he says you've got your eye on someone. So...who is this mystery girl, and when do I get to meet her?

You know I hate it when you call me that. Why can't you just call me Carson like everyone else does? But enough about that. Thanks sooooooo much for letting me be a part of this, and I'll make sure to ask them to give you tickets when I go for my band practice next weekend.

Second of all, if you're talking about Ezzie....then she's not Ethan's girlfriend anymore. Ethan's different than me. He tends to bounce a lot from girl to girl. I'm not like that. I'd rather take my time, thank you very much. But yeah, Ethan and Ezzie have been trying to set me up with this girl Casey...she's only a friend though, so it's nothing to get all excited over. There's nothing between us. And about that box. When I open it next week, is it going to hurt me?
