Ary pulled out Myths and Legends By Sean Doyle, and began to read. She sank into the armchair by the fire... It was so warm in the room, a change from the cold dungeons. She absent-mindedly flicked her wand as she read, making small red sparks shoot out. Althagus the Great joined forces with Hreria the elven-witch as they fought against the South. Wild beast were conjured up to aid the attacks against the muggle warriors... She read on, flicking her wand and picturing the olden battles. Ancient wizards and witches in hundreds, sending curses flying at the enemy. Dragons, trolls and creatures long since forgotten storming the lines. Arywiel's wand twisted and turned in her hand, sending gentle sparks. Suddenly she heard someone enter the deserted Lounge, and she dropped her wand. She quickly stamped out the sparks that had singed the carpet and her book slid off her lap onto the floor with a thud. She picked it up again "You gave me quite a fright she said, snapping the book shut. She turned around to see who it was.

Septimus strode into the student lounge thinking that she'd be here again the day after tomorrow because of that big brothers/sisters thing. She'd been paired with Ethan Jacobs. This led Sep to thinking about her meeting with Ezzie when Sep had learned that Elena was still alive. Before Sep came to Hogwarts and after her family had died and disappeared she'd been found by Elena who's husband now had the outstanding record, if he was still alive, of trying to kill two girls. The other person he'd tried to kill was actually Ezzie who'd escaped like Sep. Only when Sep had been attacked by Esteban Elena hadn't stood for it. Sep had thought that she'd been killed but Ezzie had told her otherwise. Sep was going to meet Elena tomorrow at Hogsmeade because it was Saturday and a Hogsmeade weekend. Then she was going to her first brother/sister thing. What a busy life she had. Well, not at the moment. At the moment she was going to relax in the student lounge.
She settled down beside the fire looking around. There was one other girl around her. It was Coone, Arywiel Coone. Sep had seen her before around. Quite a lot actually. There was one time where Sep had just been walking around and Arywiel had just been walking around. Actually that hadn't been very interesting but Sep had seen her which was the point. They'd both seen each other though Sep was sure. Vice versa every way. She should say something though. "I'm Septimus," she said though it came out kind of sarcastically. "You're Arywiel Coone aren't you? I've seen you around, what are you doing?" At least it was something for Arywiel to reply to, she'd said something at least.

"Studying." Said Ary as the girl asked her what she was doing. She didn't like the sarcastic hint in the latter's voice. She decided to show her who was the older one. "What are you doing?" she asked coolly. She studied the younger girl. Why on earth was she in Gryffindor? She even looked like a Slytherin. Arywiel shrugged to herself and turned back to her book. There was a moment's silence, and Ary felt sorry for having been snappy at Septimus. "Do you want to sit down?" she beckoned to a seat next to her.

Now who was being snappy? Ah well. The other girl offered for Sep to sit down and she didn't refuse, settling herself in the seat beside the other girl.
"So, what are you studying for? I just got some potions homework yesterday, curse Snape. He gives us impossible things to do, you know him. I'm trying to avoid it though so I thought I'd come here."

"Oh. Well Potions is one of my best subjects, surprisingly." Muttered Ary, pulling out a large History book, flipping through the musty pages. "Whereas this," Ary prodded the big volume with a look of malice on her face. "This is impossible. Illogical." She sighed and slammed the book shut. "3 foot essay on the ban on interbreeding in 1821. It's murder." She pulled a face and put her head in her hands. then an idea struck Arywiel. "How about a swap?" She narrowed her eyes cunningly and smirked at Septimus. "I do your Potions for my History?" It wasn't a thing she would normally do, but she had put off the impossible essay for the whole week, and was left with ten hours to scratch something up. It seemed fair enough, she was a whizz at potions, so she could help out the younger girl. Sep would have to be a bloody genious to complete a third-year essay half Ary's class had struggled through though.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. History of magic has recently become one of my best subjects though suprisingly enough. As suprising as Potions being your best subject." Then the other girl suggested a swap and Sep raised her eyebrows. "A swap, eh? Not a bad idea though you don't expect me to be able to finish something you struggle with? I'll give it a go though, you never know. I could rig something up. So, it's a deal." Sep smirked back at Arywiel. Then she handed over her Potions essay and held out a hand for Coone's. This would certainly be interesting, whether anything was gained, well..... That would have to be discovered.
((Do u want your next post to be the last? Then we'll need another post handing the homework back. This'll be fun.))

Ary took the potions essay and slid her history book across the table. "Page 419" she muttered to Septimus, as she scanned down the page. Give the unpleasant aftermaths of a bad vanishing potion. She smiled brightly to herself. This looked easy. "Read the parts on Bridgewood and his ban in 1812 and the 1830 convention. 3 foot essay." She murmured to the girl. "Lets go work and we can swap work tomorrow over breakfast." She grabbed her stuff and flashed Sep a grateful smile before she bounded out of the lounge, a weight off her chest.
((Right- thats it! You wanna start a new one over breakfast in the Hall?))
