“Eden come and get your hair done.” “Eden hurry up and then we will do your make-up.” “Then wardrobe!” Casey blinked as she looked at the chaos around her. This was one of the reasons that she had not missed this world. She had enjoyed her break from being Eden for months, but now it was over. In the few days before school started, Casey was full-speed working as Eden. She had appearances, rehearsals, interviews, studio sessions, and performances. It was crazy how much she had lined up for the next couple of weeks. She had been granted a break after Ethan’s death, but the grace period was over. She had to get back in the game. No exceptions. No one cared that Casey wasn’t over her friend’s death. Actually, most people thought she had thrown a temper-tantrum and refused to do anything until she had a break. Casey let them think what they wanted to about her break. If they knew a lie then maybe they would leave her alone. She wasn’t ready for this. She wasn’t over Ethan’s death, but no one cared. Casey just had to put her best fake smile on even if it was hard and it was. She just had to fake it all. Funny. That’s what Casey had been doing since she became Eden Sweden.
Casey walked through the crowd of people backstage. Only a few people on her team even knew her secret so she already had her wig on. Still, there was a lot to do. Today she had an interview and was performing for Chatting With The Stars. The show would be airing in Europe and America which made Casey extra nervous. She sighed. Everything was hard, plus Carson wouldn’t be coming. True, he didn’t know that Casey was Eden Sweden, but she didn’t care. She still wanted him near her. But, for the day, her performance was just Casey. She would be playing her guitar for this song and be doing it by herself. She only got to do this a few times and it was fun, but she still missed all her dancers and her band of course. Eden sighed and headed to wardrobe. This would be a long day. She could already feel it. She knew she wasn’t ready for this, but the show must go on, right?
“Okay so after you have your interview, head over to the stage and start your song.” Eden nodded. “Got it?” The show manager asked her. She faked a smile. “Yep.” He nodded and then walked of. Casey sighed and eyed her freshly done make-up in the mirror. It was pretty, very Eden. She wore sparkly gold eye-shadow, tons of eye-liner and mascara, and her lips were a tinted, cherry color. She smiled slightly and then eyed her hair. It was straight with a few wavy strands that could easily be seen. She smiled. So maybe she missed this a little bit. Eden then headed over to wardrobe with was probably her favorite part. Casey loved clothes, but she wasn’t so great at putting outfits together. Thank you Lord for stylists. Eden smiled as they handed her a bunch of things. She blankly answered the many questions they asked and then headed to the dressing room. It was nearly time to shine.
Bradley smiled at Casey as she made her way to the wall. She would only have to turn a corner and then be greeted by the hosts and the audience to the show. “You look beautiful bud.” She faked a smile. “Thanks daddy.” She said while giving her father a hug. Casey looked down to her incredibly tight pants. Yes, maybe a bit painful, but they looked good. Eden was wearing dark, skinny jeans that she looked amazing in them. She also wore a fitted, long-sleeved red shirt with a brown and tan plaid vest that looked really cool. Really, the stylists were trying to go for a more rock look for Eden which Casey did like. Plus she still wore a lot of bright things as well. And Casey loved the suede boots so it was all good. Well, kinda, not really. She was scared. Yep. Eden Sweden..well Casey..well Eden. Well, both of them were scared. But it didn’t matter the show was about to start. “In 5, 4, 3..!” The camera mad screamed. 2, 1. “Welcome to Chatting With the Stars! I’m Whitney Quinn.” “And I’m Bryan Wright.” The co-hosts started chatting. Casey took a sharp breath in. “And today we have an amazing show for you.” Whitney announced. “Yea, we will be talk to the singing starlet Eden Sweden!” Casey smiled lightly as she heard the screams. “And she will be performing a song that will go on her new album to be released this spring.” More spring. “So without a second to waste, give it up for Eden Sweden!” That was her cue. Eden smiled, plastered on a fake smile, and headed to the stage.
