Casey loved this song. It was one that made her think of her mom constantly. Heaven loved movies. Heaven loved anything that made her laugh. Casey couldn’t help but wonder if her mum was out there listening, wondering if this song was for her. If only she had the courage to come and find out. Then again, Heaven maybe didn’t know that her daughter was Eden Sweden. It wasn’t something known by many people. Casey tried to shake all her thoughts from her head as she sang with the fake smile plastered on her face. But, all she could think of was, was her mother. Still, Eden looked like she knew exactly what she was doing on stage and that as just the way Casey wanted it. The song didn’t require much movement, but Eden moved about in her normal, confident way. Would anyone ever guess that this girl was also a fourteen year old witch? Hopefully not. Casey knew that she had friends that were Eden fans that didn’t even know she was Eden. Weird? Yes. But, Casey was making herself get used to it. After all, she had been doing this for over half a year.

Eden finished and smiled with all her might. “And that was Eden Sweden ladies and gentlemen!” Naomi Carlton said clapping. Naomi had her own show that Eden was singing for. Eden took a seat next to Naomi smiling. “Thanks Naomi.” She said confidently. Naomi beamed as the audience continued to clap. “If you don’t know, which I’m sure you do, Eden has been all the rage in the past half-year. Eden, tell me how the journey has been.” Eden smiled and nodded. “Literally, it has been crazy. I love every minute of it, but it has been sort of difficult to adjust. About a year ago, I was a normal kid going to school like any other..” Lies. “And now I’m here.” She faked the smiling, which happened sometimes. Naomi smiled buying everything that Eden was saying. “So, Eden, where do you go to school?” Naomi asked. Casey kept herself from raising an eye-brow. “C’mon Naomi.” She teased. “You know that my home-life is personal. I want to be a normal kid as long as I can.” She paused. “I can tell you that I love my school and the kids treat me as an equal.” She nodded, telling the truth in some sense. “Interesting.” Naomi responded.

“So okay Eden, I know that your home-life stays closed, but can you tell us if you are dating anyone? Please?” She begged. The audience clapped and cheered wanting to know if Eden was seeing anyone. “You know, Naomi. I’m not. I just haven’t found the right guy yet. Plus, I’m so busy all year.” She smiled. Naomi laughed. “Did you hear that guys, Eden’s single.” Casey laughed. “Yea, and until my dad suddenly treats me as a teen, I will stay that way for a while.” Casey could hear her dad whistle from behind the set. Naomi smiled. Other boys were booing to that. “C’mon guys. Respect the father’s wishes.” She joked. Everyone laughed. Naomi paused for a moment then flashed Eden a smile. “Now Eden, tell me about this new single that you just released.” Eden nodded. “It’s called ‘If We Were a Movie’.” She told Naomi. “Basically, a girl likes this guy, but things just can’t work out, so she dreams about if they were in an old movie.” She said smiling. Naomi nodded. “Cool. So when does this Music Video come out?” She asked quizzically. “August 29.” She told the audience and the camera crew. “Awesome. Well, this is Eden Sweden and she will be back right after this break.”

“Uh-oh. There you go again talking cinematic!” Joel sang, well more liked screamed back stage as Casey walked back there for the break. “Joel.” Casey exclaimed, but he kept on singing. “Yea, you!” “Joel!” Joel sighed. “Alright. Alright. I’m done.” Eden smiled. “Good.” Joel smiled as Bradley came over. “Awesome bud! You’re doing great.” “Thanks dad.” Casey smiled. Bradley then motioned for Casey to come speak with him in private. “Yea dad?” She asked out of ear-shot. “Case, Wendi called my phone. She says you forget about some movie that was coming out.” Casey pushed her palm to her head. “Darn it!” She exclaimed. “I hate doing this dad.” Casey said firmly. Bradley shook his head. “Then don’t.” He told her for the millionth time and then walked away leaving Casey speechless.
