Danielle's eyes grew wide. "I can?" She asked excitedly. It wasn't ever day she saw a friends from school and was invited to go somewhere with them. "Well can we have to go through the Leaky Cauldron to get out don't we? 'Cause I'll have to let my mom and dad know where I'm going. Otherwise they'll freak out and ground me. Dad might whip me too, nah, I'm joking with you. He hasn't spanked me since I was two when I hit that girl who stole my Teddy...Anyway I'd love to come! Let's get going. Bye Mr. Fuzz, hope you get a nice home!" She called out to the kitten (even though he couldn't hear her) as they left.

"The Leaky Cauldron is the only way out, as far as I know anyway." Ezzie put her hair in a pony tail as started to walk out of the store with one last glance at the little kitty. Ezzie would see him again. She was sure of it.

They entered the Leaky Cauldron and immediately noticed a couple sitting at a table near the door. The were obviously muggles, but they looked like very nice people. Ezzie felt a pang of jealousy in her heart. Ezzie wished she had parents like Danny's. Parents who didn't think she was the devil's messenger. Parents who wouldn't try to drown her for being a witch. Parents who actually loved her. Ezzie noticed Danny come up from behind her. She stepped back little to allow Danny space to speak with her family.

It only took Danielle a few moments for her eyes to adjust to the dim lighting of the Leaky Cauldron and by then she had already spotted her parents. They were seated at a small table near the door. Her mother was fidgeting with a paper napkin while her father had what appeared to be his third cup of coffee. "Danielle Pewter!" Her mother yelled, standing up and giving her the look. Danny cringed. "What are you screaming about? It's like, 12:45." "What are you talking about?" Linda said checking her watch. "Oh..." She said sheepishly and sitting down slowly. "It is, well sorry Hun."

Danielle grinned. "It's okay...Can I go with Ezzie to Ethan's house?" Linda looked over at her husband who shrugged. "Who's Ezzie and Ethan?" He asked. "I knew I was forgetting something..." Danni said. "Mom, Dad, this is Esmeralda Mendez, you can call her Ezzie though. She's in Gryffindor, like me." She stepped back a bit so they could see her. "And Ethan is her friend she's gonna introduce me to. He's a Mugg-" Danielle caught herself at the last minute. "A normie, like you guys. So can I go?" She looked at them expectantly.

"You can go, just give us a call when you want to come home OK?" Her father said at last. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Danny ran over and practically tackled him before doing the same to her mom. She finally released her and went back to where Ezzie was waiting. "Let's roll." She said already walking off toward the exit. "Nice to meet you Ezzie." Her mom called out. "Parents," Danielle said. "Embarrassing as heck but worth it in the long run ya know?"

Ezzie just stood there standing like an idiot while Danny talked to her parents. God Ezzie wished she had parents like Danny's. Ezzie pictured herself being a muggle again. Not knowing anything about magic, or Hogwarts, but still having fun traveling Europe with her family, who didn't think she was evil. Suddenly, Danny's comment shocked her back into reality, where Ezzie's parents were off fishing somewhere in Italy, while their daughter went off to see her new boyfriend with one of her friends, who was a witch, just like her.

"Parents," Danielle said. "Embarrassing as heck but worth it in the long run ya know?" Ezzie blushed, but pretended she hadn't heard Danny's comment.

"We're going to the park, Ethan's always hanging out there with his friends. Maybe I can set you up with someone." Ezzie smiled, pointing Danielle towards the park's vast courtyard, where Ethan was probably grinding railings and doing amazing tricks on his skateboard, as per usual.

"You're going to absolutley love Ethan, I promise." Ezzie crossed the street to the entrance to the park. "He's so sweet, and amazingly good looking. It's a shame I won't get to see or talk to him at school, as I can't exactly send him an owl without revealing my secret. I just hope he doesn't like come back with three other girlfriends, you know?"

"Oh look! That's them! Over there, he's on his skateboard and of course, he's surrounded by a million other people. Girls included." Ezzie cringed at the sight of Ethan's ex-girlfriend, Melissa who obviously still fancied Ethan. "I can't stand how they're always staring at him. Most of them are hs ex girlfriends, it just really scares me that so many girls adore him like that."

"Hey guys!" Ezzie waved and smiled at the many people who now knew Ezzie very well as 'Ethan's new girl'.

They all smiled and waved, and Ethan got off his boad and started walking towards them.

I just hope he doesn't like come back with three other girlfriends, you know?" "Uh, not exactly." Danielle said. "But I can pretend I do if that helps." They continued walking into the park toward a large group of people. "Oh look! That's them! Over there, he's on his skateboard and of course, he's surrounded by a million other people. Girls included." Danny nodded to show she was listening.
"I can't stand how they're always staring at him. Most of them are hs ex girlfriends, it just really scares me that so many girls adore him like that." Danny thought about saying something but bit her tounge. Jeez, what does he do? Get a different one every week?

"Hey guys!" Ezzie waved and smiled at the many people who were surrounding Ethan. They all smiled and waved back, and Ethan got off his board and started walking towards them. Danielle tried not to be judgemental but couldn't help but remember all those other girls. I sure hope Ezzie doesn't end up like them.

Ethan looked up at Ezzie and gave her his classic bear hug and a kiss on the cheek. The crowd behind him clapped and wolf whistled, but he ignored them. He looked over to the younger girl standing next to her, who looked a little awkward standing there. She gave him a glare that showed she didn't like him very much.

"I didn't expect to see you guys here," He said, placing his skateboard on the bench. "Who's your friend?"

"Oh, this is Danielle, you can call her Danny though. I just wanted you guys to meet eachother." Said Ezzie. Ethan wasn't paying attention, really. He was too busy staring at his newfound amazing girlfriend. But he caught most of it.

"Nice to meet you, Danny. I'm Ethan Jacobs. I see you're traveling without a date! Let me introduce you to everyone, and you can take your pick." Ethan looked back casually at the large group behind him. Most of them were in couples. However, there were always a few stragglers left behind for the surprise guests to the group, like Ezzie's friend Danny.

"This is Nick," Ethan pointed to the blond boy nearest him. "He's thirteen, probably around your age. "That guy over there is Dan, he's fourteen." He pointed to the red-head next to Nick. "And this," Ethan said, "Is my surprisingly single right hand man, Tom." He sighed. "Well Danny, take your pick!"

Danny stood akwardly beside Ezzie, and moved over a few steps to give her and her boyfriend some space. After seeing how he acted toward Ezzie Danny found it hard to be as angry toward him. So she relented on her glare and smiled brightly.

"I didn't expect to see you here." Blah, blah, blah. Danielle thought as Ezzie and Ethan conversed. Sure he's nice now but what happens after his fans are gone? The darks side comes out that's what! Danny mentally slapped herself. "You have been watching too much T.V. Danielle." She murmered to herself. "Oh great, now I talk to myself? Jeez, I probaby look like an idiot. Just shut up Danielle and everything will be fine." She said rather quickly before shutting up. Danielle looked up and to her surprise heard Ethan talking to her. She managed to listen and by the time he was done her face was probably about ten shades darker than before. Get yourself under controll Danielle! You do not blush, especially over some stupid boys!

Danielle forced her face back to it's normal shade before repling. "You're funny. But even if you were serious, I don't plan on 'picking' anyone. I've been single for almost thirteen years and I don't see that changing for a while. Thanks for the, er, consideration."

"Ah, bummer." Ethan said. "Oh well! Hey, I'm getting kind of bored here. How about a trip to my place? It's just down the block."

"I'm outta here! Cya later losers!" Ethan said without looking back at his friends...or rather, fans. He picked up his skateboard, and turned to the girls. "Are you coming?"

"Danny, you wanna come? I'll understand if you don't. We can head back to your parents if you like." Ethan's heart sank. He had been really looking foward to spending time with his girlfriend, even if she did bring along a friend. As long as Ezzie was there, it didn't really matter to him.
