Charlie had been wondering how the rest of his family had been doing since everything that had been happening. Charlie had somewhat distanced himself from the rest of the family, because it was such a painful reminder that he should have been there to stop his family's heartache but he had not been. He had been on a different mission, and had still not figured out why he had not been there with most of the rest of the Order. Charlie felt more guilty than anyone possibly could know, and now with Bill and Fluer expecting the baby any day, Charlie was having issues with the idea of meeting the rest of the family at St. Mungo's for the birth. Charlie had been fighting the idea of going for weeks now, and he wished he had one of the few people with him that would remind him how much his older brother needed him there. Charlie hadn't spoken to Phaedra for a few weeks because she had been arguing with him about the fact that he still blamed himself for Harry being gone. Harry was gone, so he couldn't tell him that he needed to be at the hospital with Bill. Ginny was his last hope. Surely his baby sister could remind him just how much everyone needed him at the hospital for moral support. Charlie had owled Ginny not too long ago to see if she would meet him in Hogsmeade at Rosemerta's so that they could talk. Charlie hadn't gotten an owl back, and hoped that she would show up for their meeting.
Charlie had doned the white sweater that Phaedra had originally picked out for him on a shopping trip that she had taken, and a pair of jeans that had not been scorched by the Horntail he was taking care of lately. They had a tear across the knee, where he had been caught by the tail, but that just gave the jeans some style. Charlie took a deep breath, and decided he was ready to go.
He had apperated from Romania to just outside of the Hogwarts gates. He wasn't sure what had made him think of that one spot when he began apperating, but that's where he had stopped at. He decided that there were just too many memories of going into Hogsmeade and finding his brothers, sister and Harry there, that it had been what caused him to stop in front of Hogwarts. He turned and walked the long path toward Hogsmeade, passing the Shrieking Shack, HoneyDukes, and all the other places that had so many memories Charlie swollowed back some tears before they began to flow and made his way to Rosemerta's. The Three Broomsticks had just as many memories, but it would be easier to maintain composer while in front of so many others that would be there.
Charlie stepped in the door, and looked around. He wasn't sure he should be there, but as he turned to walk back out, he was spotted by Rosemerta herself. "Charlie Weasley, my dear. It's been ages since I have seen you in here. What has kept you away?" Charlie knew the voice as well as he knew his dragons. "Just wrong timing and dealing with some stuff, Rosemerta. How have you been?" Charlie looked around and found his favorite corner table. He decided he would sit there and wait until Ginny arrived. "I'll just have a butterbeer for now. Maybe something stronger a little later on." He said to Rosemerta as she turned around.
