It was Sunday again, and what a surprise? Ezzie was with Ethan again, except this time, they were in Hogsmeade. After all the drama that had happened that past week, Ezzie just wanted to relax, and have a good time with her boyfriend. After all, she deserved a little relaxation. She worked hard six days of the week, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and all the other stupid things a hotel maid had to do. Last Sunday, Ethan’s worst nightmare had come true. Ethan was her boyfriend, and he had always warned her singing at that street corner was a bad idea. Some creep had tried to kidnap her, just like he kidnapped Ethan’s sister all those years ago. Why didn’t I listen to him? Ezzie thought to herself. It would have saved her so much trouble if she had just moved the place where she sang. Now she was too afraid to sing at all. The only reason she had stayed around that street was because of that old man who had given her the expensive necklace, and she hoped to get a prize like that again. How stupid! She thought. But, after everything she went through since last Sunday, she was finally here, in Hogsmeade with the best guy in the world.
“So where do you want to go first?” He said, while the couple was holding hands.
“I don’t care, as long as I’m not working, and I’m with you, nothing else matters.”
“How do you feel about getting your ears pierced? And some highlights for your hair maybe?” Ezzie smiled. Ethan often did go wild when it came to his looks. Ezzie wondered what it would feel like to wear earrings. To have color in her hair.
“I think that’s a great idea! Let’s go!” No sooner had Ezzie said this than Ethan got a text on his cell phone. Ezzie figured it was one of his friends, but it wasn’t. It was his mother.
Come home now. Leave Ezzie there. You’ll meet her there later.
Ethan showed the text message to Ezzie who frowned.
“I guess my makeover is going to have to wait.” She said, with a small smile.
“No way! Here’s some money, when I get back, you will be like a whole new person. There’s extra money there for some food. You’re starting to look like a skeleton! Remind me to complain to your manager! You should at least get a lunch break!” He said, smiling, and heading towards the fireplace they had arrived in. She walked away, craving a butterbeer. She barely took a step when a boy had accidentally collided with her She fell to the ground and scraped her elbow a bit, but overall, she was fine.

Cougar's day had been wonderful. First of all, he had caught up on some sleep last night. Then, he had received some money from his dad for helping him do some chores the past weekend. He found his lucky boxers that he thought were lost, and found even more money in the pocket of the jeans he decided to wear that day. Then, to top it all off, Cougar got the chance to go to Hogsmeade. He was excited as he hurried along the shops and cafe's. He wanted to get himself something to commemorate all this luck he had suddenly received, so he figured a few bags of Bertie Bott's every flavor beans would be a way to start.
He walked into the sweets shop, and marveled at sweets arranged in many different promotional ways. He noticed how the way everything was placed you seemed to want everything because it seemed so perfect. He grabbed three bags of Bertie Bott's and decided that that would tide him over until he got some more at the end of the day to take home with him. He was walking to the counter when he was startled by people running up behind him and yelling at him, "Yay! You've just won! We've been trying to catch up with you since we saw you walk in. You are the 1,427 person to walk through that door, and you know what that means..." Cougar was nearly dumbfounded. He couldn't believe that he could possibly be this lucky. He was definitely having the best day in a long time. "Um..." Cougar didn't know what "that" meant. " It means that you can get two bags and fill them full of sweets from this shop and walk out free of charge, silly. Haven't you ever heard of the 1,427 contest?" Cougar was starting to feel silly. This was too much. A "1,427 contest"? This was just way too out there. "Really? No kidding? Thanks," Cougar replied as a dark-haired boy and a red-headed girl was hading him bags. "Can I ask just one thing? Why 1,427? I mean why not like just 1,500 or 1,000 or something even?" Cougar wondered at this as he received the bags from the two employees, both looked to be in their teens. "That is this shop's owner's favorite number. Sorry, we must be off more customers to help." They left Cougar standing there with two purple shopping bags as they walked out of the front door. Hmm, Cougar thought, Must be making a delivery or something. Oh, well since it's free, I might as well go ahead and fill it up for the house too, then I won't even have to come back later. Cougar proceeded to fill his bags with everything from Bertie Bott's to Chocolate frogs and everything in between. Even a few new sweets that he had never heard of before. Satisfied with his stash, Cougar walked out the door to the rest of Hogsmeade.
Now is the time to celebrate with a buttebeer. Hopefully I can find a friend to share one with. Cougar walked quickly down the sidewalk as his legs were starting to hurt and he wanted to sit in a booth and rest. His hair bouncing behind him as we briskly walked toward the Hog's Head. He was anxious to get something to sit on and something to drink. Just then, however, a commotion rose up behind and and he could tell there was confusion in the crowd. He wasn't looking where he was going, and walked straight into a pretty girl who looked to be his age. "Oh my gosh, I am SO sorry, I didn't mean to. I wasn't watching where I was going and... Are you O.K.?" Cougar asked her in earnest. "I'm sorry again, but will some sweets and butterbeer make up for it?" Cougar had already formulated the apology act.

"It's fine, I'm fine." She smiled again. She tended to do that a lot on Sundays. "I was actually just going to get a butterbeer too. Maybe you could come with? I might be here for a while, my boyfriend just left, his parents call him back home a lot, but this sounded important, so like I said, it might be a while before he comes back and I have something to do again." Ezzie looked down at the two large bags of candy the boy was holding. "I'm Ezzie by the way, going into fourth year. That's a lot of candy you've got there." Ezzie smiled.

"Oh, that is too bad. Sorry. Anyway, I guess I can keep you company until he gets back. I'm Cougar Farmer. I'm a fourth year in Ravenclaw." Cougar smiled at her and started walking down the street again, still looking back every now and again to see what the commotion was earlier, but he never spotted it. "I was going to the Hog's Head. Is that fine with you? I tell you since I was the clumsy one the butterbeer is my treat." Cougar added, remembering all the money he had found and he hadn't spent any of it yet. He also smiled at the candy comment. "Do you like sweets as well?" Cougar asked her holding out one of the the two overstuffed bags in invitation. "Just don't let your boyfriend get jealous and angry with me." Cougar also added.
So, who is he? Does he go to hogwarts as well?" Cougar wondered if he may have even knew the guy. Cougar pondered these questions as they arrived at the Hog's Head and Cougar opened the door for Ezzie. They walked in and grabbed a booth as Cougar ordered them both butterbeers and he sat and picked up a rather full bag of Bertie Bott's and decided that his enjoyment of luck was just beggining.

"Oh, that is too bad. Sorry. Anyway, I guess I can keep you company until he gets back. I'm Cougar Farmer. I'm a fourth year in Ravenclaw." Cougar smiled at her and started walking down the street again.
"I got sorted into Gryffindor, but I swear I should have been a Ravenclaw." Ezzie said with a little giggle.
"I was going to the Hog's Head. Is that fine with you? I tell you since I was the clumsy one the butterbeer is my treat." Cougar said.
Ezzie laughed. "I'm actually one of the few that love the Hog's Head." Ezzie tied back her hair in a ponytail. It was getting a bit hot out for her liking. She couldn't wait to get into a nice cold area. "As for paying, you don't have to worry about it. It was an accident after all."
"Do you like sweets as well?" Cougar asked her holding out one of the the two overstuffed bags in invitation. "Just don't let your boyfriend get jealous and angry with me." Cougar also added.
"I love sweets, but for health reasons, Im not allowed to have too much sugar." At the comment about Ethan, Ezzie laughed.
"Don't worry about it. It's me that should be worried. He's always been very popular with girls. I've really got to watch myself, or I'll be yesterday's news, just like everyone else he's dated." Ezzie smiled. "But I'm pretty sure I don't have to worry."
So, who is he? Does he go to hogwarts as well?" Cougar said.
"His name is Ethan, you proably know him. He just finished his fourth year, actually. He's a Gryffindor as well."
Not long after, they arrived at the Hog's Head and Cougar opened the door for Ezzie. They walked in and grabbed a booth as Cougar ordered them both butterbeers and he sat and picked up a rather full bag of Bertie Bott's Beans. Ezzie glanced at the clock. It was around one thirty. Ethan wouldn't arrive back until five, after all, that was his usual return time. Ezzie kept in mind that she still had to get her hair done and get her ears pierced. She really didn't want to get a needle pierced into her skin without Ethan there, and the beauty salon usually gave discounts to those who had just gotten their ears pierced. Ezzie figured she'd wait until Ethan got back to beautify herself.
"So are you looking foward to going back to school?" She asked as the two butterbeers were handed out to the table. She took one from the middle and took a sip. "I know I can't wait to get back, I've been so bored around here. Although I've got to say, having Ethan around has made things a bit more exciting.
"I remember last year, you were in my History of Magic class, I believe? Or was it Herbology?"

Cougar became interested at once. The only person who he knew (well more heard tale of) the was a Gryffindor that should have been in Revenclaw was a girl (or woman rather) named Hermione Granger. She was one of Harry Potter's close friends, and from what Cougar heard about her she was extremely smart. There was a saying among Ravenclaws that the time the sorting hat sorted her, was the only time it made a mistake. But this was all incensequential. This moment was aout the girl next to him and why SHE should have been in Ravenclaw. "So what makes you think you should have been in Ravenclaw? That is a big accusation." Cougar remarked with extreme pride for his house. He wondered what made her think that. Whether it was the stereotypical statement that Ravenclaws were delligently smart (which was true to an extent), but some viewed them as "Nerds". This was, however, extremely not true. But there could be some other logic behind this girl's saying so, so Cougar waited to see what she would say.
Cougar was glad he wasn't te only one that liked the Hog's Head. It actually wasn't so much that he liked it as that the Three Broomsticks was usually packed, so he normally went to the Hog's Head. He was glad she would insist otherwise in the place they went because, in all seriousness, Cougar really didn't want to be in any more crowd than he had to. To the paying responce, he replied, "Oh, no, I insist things have been going so well for me today that I simply must share it before it backfires upon me." Cougar added with a smile.
Cougar was sorry to hear that she couldn't have many sweets. He was looking forward to sharing his. It must not be very fun not being able to eat sweets, or at least mush of them. "That is also too bad. I am sorry for you. I don't know what I would do without my Every Flavor Beans. I simply love them." Cougar said.
To the comment about her being the one that should worry, Cougar couldn't hide the surprise that came over his face. A beautiful girl like her with plenty of character to boot (form what Cougar had seen in her). He expressed this opinion to her as well. "You should be the one worried? Surely he should be worried to an extent. I'm sure that people express their like for you all the time, as beautiful as you are and you character. But, such things are not my business." Cougar also quickly added.
Cougar thought about the question that was posed to him concerning whether or not he was ready for school to start. He was torn between the two possible answers. He did look forward for school to start as he had missed his friend and have been extremely bored, but at the same time, who (even at a school of magic) really looks forward to the work and tests that associate with school. "I guess I am a little but I dunno I'm kinda not at the same time." Cougar also very very embarrassed when she asked if she had seen him before. He didn't remember her. "I'm very, very sorry, but I can't say that I remember you. Sorry..."

"So what makes you think you should have been in Ravenclaw? That is a big accusation." Cougar remarked, clearly showing Ezzie that he was proud to be a Ravenclaw. She smiled.
"I honestly think I am all that brave. Sure, I stand up for myself, but I don't make a habbit out of being courageous. I'm more about books, and learning. Solving puzzles and thinking my way out of certain sticky situations. I'm all for Ravenclaw. But I've got to say, I'm also very proud to be a Gryffie, don't get me wrong."
"Oh, no, I insist things have been going so well for me today that I simply must share it before it backfires upon me." Cougar added with a smile.
"Oh, no! You musn't! There's plenty much better ways to spend money, trust me."
"That is also too bad. I am sorry for you. I don't know what I would do without my Every Flavor Beans. I simply love them." Cougar said.
"Oh, don't go feeling sorry for me, I'll be just fine without vomit flavored jelly beans!" She said with a smile.
"You should be the one worried? Surely he should be worried to an extent. I'm sure that people express their like for you all the time, as beautiful as you are and you character. But, such things are not my business." Cougar also quickly added. Ezzie blushed. She couldn't believe someone could say something so kind.
"Well then," She said, waving his compliment away with her hand. "I guess you really don't know anything about Ethan Jacobs, do you? Girls are always all over him, witches and muggles alike. I really have to be careful what I do."
"I guess I am a little but I dunno I'm kinda not at the same time." Cougar said as a response to her question about school. "I'm very, very sorry, but I can't say that I remember you. Sorry..." Cougar said, looking extremely embarrassed.
"No worries, it must have been someone else I'm thinking of...I'm afraid I've been quite scatter brained lately." Ezzie shrugged.
"So anyway, what brings you over here to Hogsmeade this fine Sunday afternoon?" She asked Cougar.
