It wasn’t typical of Jude to be without Eevie. But lately, it had been happening more and more frequently. Not because they were doing it on purpose or something like that, but Eevie’s classes had just so happened to unhappily fall during the times when Jude didn’t have any classes. Jude, if asked...and pressured...would assure you that this was not something that was making him happy. In fact it was making him quite unhappy. Very, very unhappy. More unhappy then he ever got, even when he couldn’t find a pomegranate. And that my friends, is rather unhappy. Jude had spent the whole summer apart from Eevie, and what happened when he came back to her? Silly Hogwarts went and mixed up their daily routine. Jude and Eevie had spent numerous hours thinking of possible reasons for this strange change in class schedules, they’d never had this problem before (and of course it couldn’t just happen to be the way things were, there was always a reason! A maniacal, evil, diabolical reason!) And they had decided that the thought was that they had split the two of them up, so that they would not be together when the bunnies and spoons finally began their uprising. No, they would be in two separate classes where they wouldn’t be able to formulate a battle plan...therefore, Eevie and Jude were forming battle plans ahead of time so that when the day came (because of course it would come) they would be ready!
And so, what did Jude do when Eevie was in class? Aside from thinking of ways to thwart the evil uprising of bunnies and spoons of course... would be to A) spend time in the herbology classroom doing extra work for Professor Sprout, or B) Sit with his little keyboard and miss her terribly. That was exactly what he was doing today, seeing as Professor Sprout told him that he had already done all the extra work she had for him to do, and if he kept going at that pace, there would be nothing more for her classes to do! Anyways, Jude was sitting in a corner of the student lounge where he was nearly sure no one but Eevie would find him. I mean...of course he was sitting right there in the open, but normally Eevie was the only one to notice Jude. He sat with his keyboard in his lap, dinging out little notes, working on what he could (using the toy) to jot out a new part of the song he wrote for Eevie almost a year ago now. He was constantly updating that song. Changing, modifying, but never too far away from the original. He knew that if he did change it too much, Eevie would be very very upset with him. Not mad, Eevie was never mad at him, but she would surely tell him to change it back. She would surely love the original more. That was Eevie for you. Though, Jude was pretty sure that writing a piano part for their song wouldn’t be a bad thing. No no, it would be a rather nice thing. Quite pretty indeed. Like Eevie. Oh how he missed her. This whole class thing was really taking a toll on him. He didn’t do well having her so close and yet so far away.
Jude sat, dinging out his notes, committing them to memory of course, because, that’s what Jude did. He committed nearly everything to memory. Every word spoken, every sound he heard, every sight, every taste. Everything. Textures, smells. Jude remembered it all. He didn’t need to write down the notes therefore, because he would automatically remember how he wrote it to be. So as Jude worked, he was as content as he possibly could be, knowing that Eevie wouldn’t come to see him for another half hour at most, but also knowing that he was relatively safe. Jude liked safe. He liked to make himself believe that he lived in a nice, pretty box that no one but his family and Eevie could get inside of. Unfortunately, Jude didn’t live in a box. He lived in the world, and currently the world consisted of the student lounge, and one person in particular that was really the last person Jude wanted bursting his bubble. As if being away from Eevie wasn’t enough to handle, Jude was suddenly quite aware of another presence. He chanced to look up, but was looking back at his piano in a heartbeat. Maybe if he just ignored her she would go away. It was a girl, and that was bad enough, but it wasn’t just any girl, no, it had to be Constance Day.

“Don’t you ever just…disappear?” Constance asked acidly as she shoved her shoulder bag onto her shoulder and glared daggers at Phillip, who was leaning against the stone wall nonchalantly, his arms crossed. Her brown eyes locked on his blue ones and for the moment she held her ground and then she just… “UGH! Fine. If you won’t go. I will. Problem solved.” She glared at him awhile longer as if silently hoping he’d give in and leave so she could have the little spot in the corridor to herself to read her book, but she knew it wouldn’t happen. If Phillip Smith was one thing, he was stubborn…and arrogant, and conceited, and snobbish, and annoying…and…ugh. Then again, so was Constance. She wasn’t used to not getting her way and you can bet that Phillip never let her have her way unless she really fought for it. Usually she didn’t have to fight for it. Usually she just got it. Not with Phillip. No, of course not. That’d be too easy. Constance let out a noise that sounded like a half growl half snarl before she turned on her heel and stormed off. Only Phillip could irritate her to the point where she was willing to stomp off without having her way. Only, technically, she still got her way because she was going to be alone to read her book. She was. At all costs. Constance preferred her alone time. She preferred being alone, a lot because then no one could really irritate her. Yeah, right, a chair could irritate Constance Day (gee…thanks). Seriously. It could. If it was the wrong colour she would probably take her wand to it. No joke.
Anyway, Constance had to relocate because Phillip had (unfortunately) stolen her initial place. Or well….invaded is a more appropriate word. She didn’t know what it was about that boy, but he just really got under her skin and the worst part was – she knew he enjoyed it and she couldn’t do anything about it. She couldn’t really…tell him to stop because he wouldn’t listen and she couldn’t really throw a tantrum because he would just laugh at her and irritate her even more for his amusement. Constance sighed as she pushed open the door to the student lounge, hoping to find some solitude there. There was hardly ever any time when the student lounge was empty, so why would this time be any different? Oh, yes, because Constance Day wanted to be alone. The whole world should shift for her! (Glad you see the way it should be…) The world revolved around Constance, right? Yeah. Right. Anyway, again, Constance was in the Student Lounge now and she was looking around to see just how empty it really was to see if she was better off up in her dorm where Phillip couldn’t get her… but then that annoying Eevie girl could. Okay, so Eevie wasn’t annoying because she talked a lot or anything – but she was just always so bloody happy! It annoyed Constance to the end of the world. Honestly, didn’t that girl know any other song than the one she was always humming as she worked on her homework? Apparently not.
Constance assessed that the student lounge was good enough (considering there was only one person in the room, who happened to be that annoying Eevie girl’s boyfriend) and headed to an armchair by the fireplace which was currently not lit. She sank down gracefully and crossed her right leg over her left as she reached inside her shoulder bag and pulled out her book. As she began to open the book and start to read where she had left off, there came annoying ‘dink’s from the corner where the annoying Eevie girl’s boyfriend sat. Constance looked up sharply and waited… waited… waited… *dink* Okay, this was NOT going to work! Constance snapped her book shut and stood from her chair, making her way over to the boy who she knew was in the year above her. She eyed him waiting for him to acknowledge her. When he didn’t, she glared; “Do you mind? I’m trying to read in peace.”

Really, right when Jude thought his afternoon couldn’t possibly get any worse, it just had to go straight down the tubes. He was really seriously falling apart and all he wanted to do was sit by himself and play his keyboard like he usually did. But for some reason or another everywhere he went people seemed to get annoyed with him. Normally, people who knew Jude were relatively nice to him. More than likely it was because they felt some sort of pity for the weird kid who didn’t talk, but Jude liked to think that they liked him and thought he was a good guy. Jude thought of himself as a good guy, he figured he was friendly, maybe not talkative but at least friendly. He smiled and waved and the few kids who had managed to get words out of him, he was always nice to. So why would anyone have a problem with Jude? How could they possibly? When someone never talks it doesn’t give you much room to hate them. Of course, some people just had a habit of hating anything that breathed, and often, things that didn’t breath as well. Jude couldn’t help but sigh when Constance continued to stand in front of him, this being one of the times he really regretted ever leaving his room for any reason at all. He wanted to sit and miss his girlfriend in peace, couldn’t Constance allow that? Of course she couldn’t.
Jude hadn’t heard much about Constance, this might have been odd seeing as Eevie and the girl were housemates, and in the same year, but Eevie never talked bad about people. Probably the most Jude had heard about Constance involved reading materials and at this exact moment Jude didn’t care to remember, seeing as it would do him not a lot of good. He continued dinking out notes as the girl stood over him, wondering how one person could have so much attitude. It just was very strange. He wondered what type of parents had allowed a child like that to leave their home. Then again, Jude didn’t have much room to talk about parents, seeing as his were sort of not the best. He just always wondered why people could possibly be so mean. Jude was quite the pacifist. He would never, ever, ever start a fight. Jude hated confrontation. It was probably his least favorite thing in all the world. If people just didn’t fight so much the world would be such a nicer place. Jude could remember being bullied quite a lot in his childhood. All the other muggle kids liked to make fun of him because he was the ‘weird one’ the ‘stupid one’ although that is totally untrue and Jude’s IQ probably topped all of theirs by a mile, he never said a word. He would let them bully him, and do all the mean spirited things young kids did, but never would he say a word. It seemed so trivial to him and all he could ever wonder was what had made the kids so mean?
Finally it happened, Constance broke the silence with a quick snap and Jude shrunk a little, but definitely not enough to let Constance know she was having an effect on him. He continued to play his piano and after a few moments he once again chanced a look up at her. This time he held her gaze for a moment longer and then looked back down again. Trying to give off the air that he didn’t care at all what she said or did to him. Because honestly he didn’t. In his head of course, all Jude could think was ‘not like you’re reading good books’ but he didn’t say it. He never said it. Jude didn’t like to be mean, even if someone might have deserved it, and so he sat and tried to mind his own business, hoping the mean girl would just let him alone. Oh goodness, where was Eevie. Jude was finding his current situation even more draining then the previous one, but he knew that just seeing his Love’s face would make it all better.

Constance looked down at the guy, not really even making an effort to figure out his name. The way she saw it, if she didn’t know his name already – it was because he wasn’t among the guys who tried to get her attention constantly; which meant he wasn’t worth much. Though, there was a part of Constance who found that a breath of fresh air...only a small part, though. Anyway, the guy continued to dink around on his toy keyboard and ignore Constance, although technically he had looked up at her for a moment and then looked back down… she still considered it ignoring. She wasn’t used to not being talked to. She might go on about how much she loathed it, but she really did like the attention she received. Even from Phillip…especially from Phillip (Don’t go there). Constance was growing thoroughly agitated with this guy. Then again, Constance grew thoroughly agitated with everyone and everything. It could be a chair, like I said before, and Constance would undoubtedly launch it out a window if it agitated her. She didn’t have the luxury of launching this guy out the window, though, so she stood…towering over him and waiting for him to say something. Anything. Of course, he didn’t, and whether it was because he was intimidated by her or because he just didn’t speak – Constance didn’t care. Her anger simmered inside of her as her agitation grew to aggravation at this boy’s lack of conversation.
Finally, Constance’s anger got the best of her and she cocked her head to the side; “Don’t you ever speak?” her voice held so much disgust in it, although the question (if it had been asked by someone else) wouldn’t be one of offence normally…with Constance everything she said could be taken offensively. It was just the way she was, the person. She was the type of person that could make anyone feel insignificant with just a single glance of disgust or scorn. Constance was gorgeous, so her anger and her annoyance only resounded (even though it made no noise at times) louder than it would for any normal person. Her eyes remained on the boy with the silly toy, fire in them as she glared daggers at him. How could someone ignore her so easily?! It infuriated her to no end and she would get him to talk to her… she would. Or she at least liked to believe she would. She didn’t really understand the fact that Jude Esben (which was the boy’s name) hardly talked to anyone except his girlfriend. Constance figured he talked to most people who weren’t her. Then again, Constance was conceited so she thought that everything was about her. She had a rude awakening coming ahead of her later on in her life, that was certain.
“What’s your name, anyway?” Constance wasn’t interested in his name, not really. She just wanted to get him to talk to her. She hated the fact that someone could ignore her as he was. She didn’t do well with being ignored. She had never been ignored her whole life, why would she be ignored now? “C’mon boy! Are you deaf? Dumb?” Scowling, Constance crossed her arms over her chest, her book still in her left hand. She was about to say something more when the student lounge door opened and in flowed Eevie Bloch, her long hair (which was a lighter brown this week, last week it was a red if Constance remembered correctly) swaying against her shoulders as she hopped into the student lounge. Constance’s annoyance grew considerably. “Great.” She muttered loudly as she followed Eevie with her brown eyes. “Perfect, now you can take your ridiculous boyfriend and get him out of the student lounge with that…that…toy.” Constance told her dorm mate with an even deeper scowl on her face.

Eevie hummed to herself as she charted the constellation for…for… Eevie’s eyes quickly flickered to the list of constellations they had to chart and then she smiled when she found the one she was charting… Aquarius. Astronomy wasn’t something that Eevie really enjoyed, but it was interesting at times and when it came to charting specific constellations… it was kind of like connect-the-dots and Eevie loved to play connect-the-dots. She couldn’t say she was enjoying herself while she was in the class, because she really wasn’t. She was missing her Jude terribly, and of course it was like this every Monday and Wednesday because their schedules conflicted so terribly then. There were other days that weren’t so bad, but these days were the worst. It was as if they were being punished for some unknown reason; which made no sense because it wasn’t like they did anything bad except plot the demise of bunny rabbits and spoons. That wasn’t too bad, though, was it? No, it wasn’t. If anything that was like…like… preparing for World War II…kind of. Eevie laughed at herself comparing bunny rabbits and spoons to Hitler and the Nazis. She and Jude were convinced the bunny rabbits and spoons were just as bad. Perhaps they wouldn’t go on and kill a whole bunch of humans or knives and forks, but they were just as evil and they so totally would if they could! Eevie smiled to herself and finished charting Aquarius before she rolled up the scroll and slipped it into her backpack.
She then leaned back in her seat and looked around the astronomy class she was in. It was a small class and Eevie loved to watch who all was in it. She was glad that she always finished her work fast enough to do this. Eevie was rather quick with her assignments, it was one of the reasons why she never had much homework. She loved to finish things quickly because it meant more time she could spend with Jude. The fifth year was the most difficult year, and since she was past the fifth year and was well into her sixth by now, she didn’t worry too much about assignments that took everyone longer time and her only an hour or so. Eevie was quick, clever, so things usually came to her quite easily. She watched her classmates until the bells tolled in the distance and then she was out of her seat with her backpack over her left shoulder easily. Her feet carried her out of the astronomy classroom and down the stairs from the tower to the ground level. She hated how far up the astronomy tower was, but she knew that if she walked fast enough she’d be able to get to Jude quickly. She had missed him so terribly much. It was insane how they hardly had any time together during the day, but then again they were a year apart. Eevie closed her eyes and she hurried down another flight of stairs – that familiar sadness she got whenever she thought about it being Jude’s last year washing over her.
Pushing the thought from her mind, Eevie reached the student lounge and smiled brightly at the thought that Jude was behind the door. She started to push it open, but froze when she heard a familiar voice. “C’mon boy! Are you deaf? Dumb?” Eevie’s smile evaporated and was replaced with a deep frown. She knew that Constance was talking to Jude, simply because of her condescending question. A sigh escaped Eevie as she pushed open the door to the student lounge and stepped inside. She looked at Jude lovingly and headed over to him, slipping her backpack off her shoulder and setting it beside Jude’s chair. Constance had addressed her, but Eevie wasn’t paying any attention to her dorm mate. She leaned and kissed her boyfriend’s forehead tenderly before smoothing his hair and then turning to Constance; “It’s the student lounge, Constance, he has every right to be here as you do. I suggest if you don’t like whatever he was doing, then you go and find someplace else to…” Eevie’s eyes flickered to the book in Constance’s hand, “read, because I’m joining him and we’re probably just going to annoy you more…and we wouldn’t want to annoy Constance Day.” Eevie was never mean or anything toward people, but Constance was the one person that made Eevie want to scream and hit. Eevie was pretty much…the pacifist. She hated violence and conflict, but she would defend if she had to. With a look at Constance, Eevie slid into Jude’s lap easily, kicking her legs slightly as she continued to stare at the other 6th year Gryffindor; “Well? What’s it going to be? Are you going to be civil and selfless and go and read over there, or are you going to leave the student lounge? Because we aren’t going anywhere.”

Jude had refused to look up at the girl, even when she began to ask him questions. She asked him if he ever spoke, and in his head Jude said ‘nope, not really. Not unless your name starts with E, ends in E, and has a EVI in the middle’. Of course, that wasn’t totally true, I mean, Jude occasionally spoke to other people, but the majority of his talking was to Eevie. To be honest, all Jude could think about was how on earth this girl possibly thought she would win a battle with the way she was going? I mean, you don’t exactly be rude to someone if you want them to talk to you. Then again, Jude suspected it was kind of like mindset a child has when it pulls on a cats tail to get the cats attention. Of course, kids like that got popped in the face. Constance...might have deserved to get popped in the face, but Jude was no cat. He was much more like an innocent puppy. Cute and lovable and silent. Well, puppies weren’t very silent but Jude was a silent puppy. Constance continued with another question; ‘what’s your name anyways?’ Jude didn’t look up at her, but he smiled to himself and dinked out on his keyboard, singing along in his head ‘heeey Jude...don’t make it bad...’ Jude knew the girl wouldn’t get it, she would think he was just ignoring her, when Jude was honestly answering her question in a clever way. Oh how clever Jude could be sometime. Later Jude would have to tell Eevie about his cute, little joke. She would laugh, she’d say he was clever and cute and he’d get a nice kiss. Yay kisses! Aw, now he was really getting down again. His wit had brought him up for a few minutes, but the thought of Eevie being away from him brought him back down again.
Finally, the girl just pushed the limits. For a while she was tolerable, but now she was just being mean. Rude is one thing, mean is another. Deaf and dumb was probably the most commonly used insult Jude had received when he was a kid. In fact, his first grade teacher had called him that on the first day of school. She had yelled it at him when he refused to tell her his name, or how old he was. Of course, the teacher already knew this information, but when Jude just sat, staring at the teacher, refusing to answer her simple question, she was rather upset. Like, screaming upset. This only caused all the other kids in the class to snicker and giggle at the dumb kid. Jude had always hated being laughed at. I mean...he never acted on it, but he always hated it. Hearing those words come out of Constance’s mouth just made Jude wonder how old the girl really was. He looked up at her, probably one of the most disgusting looks he had ever given on his face and shook his head at her. He stared at her for a while, shook his head once more, and then looked back down at the keyboard in his hands. He knew she was getting fed up with him not giving a single care about her being there and he imagined that soon her words would get a lot crueler. Jude could tolerate it of course, but he still didn’t like it. How could anyone like being made fun of? When Jude had come to Hogwarts he had assumed that maybe the mockery would stop, but then again I guess you always ran into some people who were always the same. Universal.
Jude had every intention of keeping up his ignoring when he heard the door of the room open and his heart jumped to life. His eyes shot up and over to the door, in a way they normally would not have done, and the second he saw her he knew everything was going to be ok. He looked across the room at the love of his life lovingly, but sadly. Of course he wasn’t sad about seeing her, he was just sad about the position he was in. He knew Eevie would understand. Eevie, of course, did. And so she walked across the room, ignoring Constance’s mutterings and she kissed Jude on the forehead and smoothed his hair lovingly. He let his eyes close and then when he heard her voice he opened his eyes to find she had turned to Constance. Jude let a smile play across his face as Eevie immediately shot words at the mean girl, defending him. Eevie was his strength. Eevie was Jude’s pillar of strength to say in poetic terms. She was what kept him going in situations like these. Where Jude didn’t have the care, nor the will-power to defend himself, Eevie was the one to be there for him. And when he had had a bad day Eevie was always there to help him out of his slump. He knew that if anyone could talk down Constance Day it was Eevie Bloch, and so he felt quite safe with her there. When Eevie turned and slid into Jude’s lap he smiled brightly and wrapped his arms around her, setting the keyboard in her lap. AS they waited for Constance’s reply, Jude mumbled in response to what the mean girl had said earlier, but only loud enough for Eevie to hear, “It’s an instrument, not a toy...”

Constance was now glaring daggers at Eevie as the girl completely ignored her at first. She felt her stomach churn as Eevie kissed her boyfriend’s forehead and smoothed his hair before even acknowledging that Constance was there. She didn’t like feeling second to anyone, even Eevie Bloch. Constance had never taken the fact that there was someone else in the world who could be more important than her well. She loved the idea that the world revolved around her and although she knew it really didn’t, if you told her that? She’d rip you a new one. According to Constance, the world was her place… it was hers. Completely. Everyone else in the world were just…guests. Yes. Guests. It’s easier to think of the world as a big party and Constance is the hostess, or the most important person, and everyone else are just her guests or servants. Constance was always thinking of things like that. Analogies to put into her life. Her perfect life. Her life that was amazing and better than everyone else’s. Only, it wasn’t better than everyone else’s. She just liked to pretend it was. Although, in her mind it wasn’t really pretend. She really did think she was better than everyone else and that her life was better than everyone else’s. People called her conceited and stuck up for it, but was she really conceited and stuck up when it was something that she truly did believe? It was a question that plagued Constance daily. Despite what appearances she gave off… Constance really did have deep thoughts.
Eevie had finally decided to turn her attention to Constance, but the words that came from her mouth didn’t make Constance happy; “I can read here if I want to, and I have every right to complain about the noise level in here especially when it’s just some silly toy that’s making the noise. It isn’t like he’s actually writing any music on that blasted thing. Honestly, it would be much easier if you two just left. Besides…just the sight of you two is making me sick.” By now, Eevie had slid into the boy’s lap and he had wrapped his arms around her. His lips moved, and Constance supposed he had said something but she didn’t hear anything. The one thing Constance hated more than people not talking to her was when they spoke to someone else in front of her. Which was what the boy had started to do. Constance scowled and then crossed her arms tighter against her chest; “So, really, you two should just leave…seriously. Just go. It would make things a whole lot easier for the three of us. If you don’t leave, I’m not going to be as nice as I have been.” Constance’s tone of disgust had dwindled down a bit, from disgust back to annoyance.
She didn’t quite know why she was being so nasty to the two of them. All she could really think about was how sick they made her because of cute they were together. If it was another thing that Constance hated (besides being ignored) it was when two people were so cute and cuddly and couply. It made her want to lie on the floor and die. Constance didn’t like the whole cute thing. It wasn’t in her nature. It had never been in her nature. So, not only did these two make her annoyed because they weren’t leaving the student lounge for her…but she was sickened because of how cute they were together. Some might call her jealous of their relationship, but Constance was most definitely not jealous. Constance could have her pick of guys in the school…with the snap of her fingers. Why would she need to be jealous?

Jude was on the breaking part as he looked up to see the glare Constance was giving Eevie. Jude may have been a pacifist, but if there was one thing he couldn’t tolerate it was someone having a negative attitude towards Eevie. The way Jude saw it was, how could anyone possibly be negative towards Eevie? She was...she was perfect. She was amazing. She was fun and cute and just all around lovable! Jude loved her, why wouldn’t everyone else? Of course, it could have been because of the way Eevie had reacted to Constance, but in the end, Constance had asked for it hadn’t she? She was the one who had started with Jude when Jude had only been sitting in his corner minding his own business. And when I say his corner, I do mean his corner. Jude sat in the same corner every time he had to go into the student lounge, how else would Eevie know exactly where to look for him? Even if the two were together they sat together. Then again, Jude was sure that a girl like Constance must have believed that the entire world/school was hers and that everything in it belonged to her, even the people no doubt. But Jude most definitely did not belong to Constance, and neither did Eevie. And for that reason the mean girl had no reason to look at Eevie that way. Eevie was too amazing to be looked at like that.
Now, when I said that Jude and Eevie sat in that same spot every time they were in the student lounge I meant it. They sat the same way nearly every time too, with her in his lap and his arms wrapped around her. But, of course this sort of thing only seemed to aggravate Constance more and once again Jude was drawn into wondering what made that girl so mean. She must have been bitter. She just must have, no one hated cute unless it was something they couldn’t have. And Jude had no doubts in his mind that cute was something this girl couldn’t pull off. Jude just sat with Eevie as Constance rambled about how she had rights to complain and about how he couldn’t possibly be playing music. Jude of course chuckled quietly and mumbled again into Eevie’s ear, “she asked my name and I played ‘hey jude’”. He smiled proudly and then looked up once more as Constance again told them that they should leave. Jude cocked his head to the side when the mean girl said she had been being nice and finally, he shook his head and stood, taking Eevie’s hand. Jude looked Constance straight in the eye for a few moments before shaking his head sadly at her. She was a lost cause, there was no point in worrying himself over her. Not when he had his lovely Eevie there with him. No no, now it was a happy time. And so, with a smile and a polite nod to the mean girl, Jude turned, and led Eevie out of the room, his keyboard in hand.
As soon as the two of them had left the room, and were far enough away that Constance couldn’t hear them (just in case she had bat ears, sometimes minions of the evil rabbits and spoons were granted bat ears to help spy on their rivals, and since Eevie and Jude were the leader of the chopstick army, it would make sense that Constance might have been working for them.) Jude smiled and turned around, wrapping his arms around Eevie’s waist. Now that they were alone in the corridor he had no problems speaking up. He nodded over her shoulder, toward the direction of the student lounge and chuckles. “Unrequited love. That’s her problem.” With a grin Jude kissed Eevie’s nose.

Eevie rolled her blue eyes as Constance continued talking.. She looked at Jude and sent him a message with her eyes that said something like, “Doesn’t this girl ever shut up?” of course that wasn’t something that Eevie would say out loud. Eevie wasn’t like that. She didn’t talk bad about people and she didn’t talk down to people. She was nice, she liked everyone to like her because there was nothing that Eevie loved more (besides Jude) than to make people smile. Her goal was to make Professor Snape smile; at all costs. Jude didn’t quite like Professor Snape so he didn’t really approve of her goal but he wasn’t completely against it; whatever made Eevie happy. He even joined in from time to time…leaving sunflowers in front of Snape’s office door and all. Eevie would smile at that, simply because she knew Jude was completely afraid of Snape – and who wouldn’t be? Snape was scary and mean. Jude didn’t do well with mean, not at all. Which made Eevie snap back to the present situation, with Constance standing in front of her and talking about how it would be better if she and Jude left so that Constance could stay and read her precious book. Eevie sighed slightly and crossed her arms over her chest like Constance was doing at that specific moment. Perhaps she did it to mimic her, perhaps not; whatever the reason she did it. Eevie almost scowled – almost – when Jude whispered in her ear about playing ‘Hey Jude’ on his keyboard. She smiled and even laughed before looking at him lovingly, “Clever, baby.” She kissed his forehead again and then turned to Constance once more, unhappily. She would have much rather continued to stare at her loving boyfriend, but she knew that Constance wouldn’t stand for it.
She was about to say something more when Jude seemed to get fed up with Constance. He stood, nearly knocking Eevie to the floor, and took her hand; all the while shaking his head at the girl. Eevie had to hide a smile as she linked her fingers with his and squeezed his hand lovingly. “Good day, your majesty!” Eevie called as she walked with Jude out of the student lounge and into the corridor. She felt like she could breathe easier now that she wasn’t in the Student Lounge with Constance towering over her like she was this miniscule bug. Eevie wasn’t quite sure how much she liked feeling like a miniscule bug. Eevie didn’t quite like bugs, so why would she like being like one? She thought they were gross and yucky and something that the world could do without, though Jude would tell her otherwise…no doubt going on about how bugs help plants which in turn help the Earth, but still…Eevie didn’t like them. Most of them bit and most of them were poisonous and Eevie rather valued her life. She walked with Jude quietly down the corridor, happily putting space between her and Constance. She didn’t know how she was able to put up with the girl for so long in the dorm, but I suppose you could say that Eevie was an optimist, always looking for the good in people. Even if most people were convinced there wasn’t any good in people. Eevie was certain there was something good in everyone. EVERYONE.
When Jude stopped them and wrapped his arms around his waist, Eevie smiled at him brightly. “Oh, yes. She needs to find herself a good boyfriend, though I suppose it would be hard to find a guy who could put up with the stuff she does. I mean, she keeps talking when she should shut up, you know? I’ve lived in the same dorm as that girl for six years, Jude, six years and I tolerated her for that long! You’ve never heard one nasty thing come from my mouth about her…not one…and all she’s ever been to me is rude. She’s the lost case, Jude, I can’t make her happy or smile and that really upsets me. Maybe I should change my goal from Snape to Constance. Do you think she’s worth devoting that much time to?” Eevie looked at her boyfriend seriously a moment and then sighed slightly before shrugging, “Probably not. I’ll just forget she even exists. Oh, she’ll just love that, won’t she?” Eevie grinned and then kissed Jude quickly, wanting to wash all reminder of Constance Day from her mind. When she pulled back from the kiss, she grabbed his hand and linked their fingers – leading the way to the front entrance of the school so they could lounge under their tree, “So, tell me, were you working on our song? You’re not changing it too much are you, sweets?” She didn’t mind the song being added to, but she didn’t want it to lose its original essence.

Jude shivered slightly as Eevie teased him with that word again. Like she usually did. Though, he never complained about it. Jude enjoyed it for the most part, it was like a fun little game...even though Eevie always won...but Jude didn’t much like winning games, he always felt bad for whomever had lost. And so he was quite happy to let Eevie win at the teasing game. He was quite positive he wouldn’t be too good at it himself anyways, and he was fine with that. Jude tried not to laugh at the fact that he and Eevie were practically having their own little conversation when Constance was standing there, quite obviously bothered by being ignored, but no matter. Jude finally stood, realizing all too late he almost toppled Eevie over...he had a habit of doing that on accident. As they were leaving Jude chuckled at how Eevie ended the conversation with Constance with a nice ‘good day your majesty’ which is, no doubt, exactly what Constance wanted to hear. So Jude felt absolutely no sympathy for his and Eevie’s attitudes towards the door, especially since the couple had been so nice in giving the mean girl exactly what she wanted. I mean, she wanted to be alone right? Well she was alone, and more than likely unhappy. Jude pitied who ever else entered that room and found themselves at fault with little miss meany. She really was just a sad sight to be honest. Jude actually even pitied the chair that she sat in; no doubt she said mean things to it as well. Poor chair. But then again maybe now the chair would join Eevie and Jude in their fight against the bunnies, spoons, and their evil minions whom seemed to be lurking around every corner. Jude and Eevie could always use allies.
When Jude and Eevie finally made their way out into the open corridor, he smiled lovingly as he held her close to him. He sure did love having her close, it was such a drastic change from having her so far when she was in class. Jude nodded thoughtfully as Eevie mentioned how Constance needed a good boyfriend and then chuckled. “I’m sure there’s someone out there for her...he’s probably deaf.” Jude shook his head as Eevie talked about how she had never said a single mean thing about Constance, which was quite true, she hadn’t. And then about how she should change her goal from Snape to Constance. At this Jude shook his head vehemently. “Eevie that guy is scary, he needs to lighten up more than the mean girl does...and maybe take a shower...” Jude nodded thoughtfully again. It was commonly known among the couple that Jude often left sunflowers outside of the potions teacher’s office and then turned and ran all the way back up the stairs and back to where ever Eevie was. He did it normally on Sunday mornings when he was sure that the grouchy professor needed a pick me up. However, Eevie had sadly informed him that she had never seen the flowers make their way into the classroom, so Jude was optimistic that they had made their way inside Snape’s office...though it was also possible that some evil plant killing potion had been dumped on the unsuspecting, innocent flower. Poor Flower. It had only ever smiled at the professor. Mean old, scary, professor. Jude was only ever trying to be nice. Snape had been the only teacher to ever yell at Jude for not talking, and while Jude had never talked even then, Jude still knew that this was a sign that Professor Snape needed friends...badly.
Finally Jude’s thoughts were broken as Eevie kissed him. It was a quick kiss, but a welcome and lovely one as well. Jude had been missing his Eevie kisses, and he had been wanting one since the last he had received. As much as Jude loved giving kisses, he very much loved to receive them. And Eevie was always giving him kisses. Eevie was also good at taking Jude’s hand and linking their fingers. Holding hands was one of his favorite things to do with her. Oh and cuddling. He loved cuddling too. Jude smiled and walked happily with his love as she led the way towards the front entrance of the school, heading to their tree as they usually did. Yes, they did have a tree. Just like they had a corner. And he chuckled as she asked about their song, he had known she would want it to stay primarily the same. With a loving smile at her he sighed happily. “Everything about is will always keep its original essence. It’s impossible to delete that you know? Only possible to add on. Always possible to add on.”
