Just a swim for sanity((Anyone))

Jake walked out onto the lawn in his school robes and swim trunks. It was a windy day, perfect for swimming in Jake's eyes, and the sun was coming down with a slightly warming glow. Jake slowly walked toward the lake letting the wind and the fresh air slowly take him away. Whenever he was outside in the wind he always forgot about his family. His father, being the uptight snob he had been raised to be, had never wanted his son to be 'special'. His mother on the other hand, was completely terrified that her son would burn their house down and turn all of the world into fleas. Jake laughed for a second at his mothers imagination. She had always been a very nervous person, and having a wizard in the family hadn't helped that much.
Jake finally made it to the lake, taking off his robes just as he got there, standing in just his swim trunks. He looked into the water for a second and dove in. the water was freezing cold, but Jake just floated on top of the water trying to get himself to relax.

Timothy was walking to think about things he's been feeling.....well things he's been feeling for someone else. He has liked this girl for a while now and even though he's a popular and handsome guy he doesn't really know how to tell her how he feels about her.
As he was planning how he was going to tell her and how he was going to act towards her when he did tell her, he saw Jake Naito dive into the lake. He was laughing at the way he dove into the lake but hey jake was a pretty cool kid so Timothy had no reason to be mean to him.
Timothy saw Jake come up from the water after he dove and started to walk over to the side so he could talk to his buddy. Maybe Jake could tell Timothy what he should do.Timothy figured that if he was to talk to anyone about this he could at least talk to Jake. Timothy had no where else to turn so he satarted running like he was running for his life. Ironicly he got there faster then he wanted to, he still had to figure out what he was gonna say to Jake. How was he going to ask him to help him with a girl problem?
Timothy stood by the side of the lake looking like a weirdo standing there staring into space trying to figure out what he's going to say.

Jake came up from the water and looked out at the grounds. He noticed that there was his friend timothy standing over him. Jake waved at him from the water saying "hey Tim" and swam to the edge of the lake, pulling himself out and putting his robe on over his soaked body. Jake looked back over at timothy saying "anything new?" Jake and timothy had been Friends for a while now. Jake remembered back last year when they had hung out together on the train to hogwarts. not everyone had approved of it, mostly because the slytherins and the Gryffindors never really liked each other, but Jake didn't really think of what the others students thought about their friendship.

Before Timothy said anything to Jake he looked around to make sur enone of his slytherin friends were watching. Even though he eand Jake have been friends for a while he didn't want his friends to think that he was hanging out with Gryffindors.
Timothy looked at Jake trying not to blush and said" yea a girl. she's beautiful and um..." Timothy looked away and shuffled his feet, "i can't...she doesn't really know i like her and i don't know how to tell her, you got advice for me?"
Timothy was staring to wonder if maybe Jake will tel the girl that Timohty liked her. Timohty decided to just not tell Jake what her name is and leave it a mystery.Timothy didn't like keeping secrets from Jake even if he was in the Slytherin House. Timothy has warned Jake when ever the other Slytherin students were planning to pick on him or anything that would embarrass him. Timohty maybe come of as a mean person but he is good to his friends!
Timothy was getting worried now about how Jake might take that even though Timothy may be a ladies man he can't tell one girl how he felt...out of all the girls he has dated he can't tell that ONE girl. What was so diffrent about that one girl why can't he walk up and tell her he liked her. Timothy was always the popular guy not the smartest guy.

Jake listened to timothy while he explain what his problem was. Jake could tell that he was trying, very unsuccessfully, not to blush. Jake smiled and said "ya i may have something"and picked up his towel, quickly drying his hair and setting it back down "mabey... are you two friends? because if you are you could probably just ask her out... or maybe even have a friend do it if your too shy?" Jake knew that would make timothy do something about it. he knew slytherins, and some of those people were really proud. if timothy was anything like his house-mates then he would probably take his shy comment and go ask her himself. but then Jake added "but it all just matters on if you two know each other well. try talking to her, show her some of your good side"

Timothy listened to his advice and started to smile in graditude and then timothy heard the words, the words that any slytherin especially Timothy hated "if your to shy" he looked at Jake with shock and said " I'm not shy i just don't know how to say it, ya know it's just i'm not sure how she'll take it alright? Me shy Ya right!" he smerked and in his head he knew that he was a little shy but wouldn't let Jake see his weekness.

Timothy was known for his confidence and if he let anyone see any of his weekness then his reputation would die a horrible death.

Jake just smiled at timothy. He had known he would have reacted like that. "well they go talk to her, tell her that you like her, get to know her!!!" Jake emphasized the last part, trying to make sure timothy got the message. It wasn't that he thought timothy wasn't smart, it was just he knew he was bull headed.

Timothy looked at Jake and nodded knowing that his friend was only trying to help, like he asked him to. Jake was like that he always had a good impression and keept that impression. Timothy would never doubt anything that Jake told him so for that he trusted this Griffindor.

Timothy looked up at the sky and as a slight breeze hit them both Timothy looked at Jake and smiled as he said "Well, budy you should get in side you don't want to catch a cold now do you? i think there might be a storm coming in. And plus don't you have a quiz to study for?"

Jake told Timothy everything as the same for Timothy with Jake for knowing each other for a short tim they know a lot about each other but little know they hang out with eachother.

Jake looked up at the sky and said "Ya your probably right, I need to study for trans and i have some homework for charms... might as well get started on that. I guess I'll see you later?" Jake then picked up his towel, and shirt telling timothy "See ya later" and walked back towards the school.

Timothy didn't start walking because he wanted to talk to himself about what he might do in order to get himself to tell her that he likes her.

Timothy sat on the ground and put his arms on his knees and started to think. Could he really walk up to a girl that he really liked and tell her to her face "i like you!" Timothy didn't realize that he had just said that out loud. Nevously he looked around to see if anyone had heard or maybe looking at him and laughing. What would people think of him a slytherin talking to himself.

Timothy really liked this girl and really wanted her to know but how could he tell her? She barley says hi to him in the halls and they don't know each other that well but he does like her and Timothy wanted to get to know her more then he does right now.

Timothy started to think that maybe he will just wait untill he gets to know her well and then when he does tell her then Timothy wont look like such a weirdo that barley knows someone and is already telling her that he likes her.

Jake had kept walking but had heard what Timothy had said. Jake just smiled to himself. He knew Tim would do the right thing.

Timothy decided that he would go study with Jake besides Timothy thought the whole house against the other house thing was stupid so what if a Slytherin was friends with a Griffindor. I t was a matter of friends.

Timothy ran up to catch up to Jake, Timothy yelled out to him " Yo Jake wait up! you going to the library?"
Timothy was running and didn't pay attention and while he was yelling he had tripped, even though he had tripped he still yelled out to Jake, hopeing he would stop to answer Timothy.

Jake turned back around as timothy tripped and went to help him "sure lets go" and started to walk to the library.

Timothy got up and dusted off his pants, he then looked at Jake and smiled, " Thanks....buddy". Timothy knew that he had never called Jake buddy before and wasn't sure how Jake would take it. Timothy knew that if Jake was a good friend like he thought he was then he would maybe smile and laugh and say your welcome. If Jake didn't like Timothy calling him buddy then he would probably look at him and while looking at him then he would give him the evil eye tell him to go away and walk off, with the most pissed off walk you could ever see. Timothy was hopeing that Jake would let Timothy call him buddy and would understand that Timothy wanted to put the so called hate between Slytherin's and Griffindor's aside and show the rest of the school and the rest of the Slytherin's that Griffindor's aren't that bad.

Jake looked back at Timothy smiling. he quickly looked back at the castle before saying "Your welcome man, come on lets get to the library"
