Rosaliz was having even more trouble sleeping than normal this night although it was unclear exactly why this was. She kept rolling over and over in her sleep but she just didn't feel tired in the slightest. She couldn't help but think about everything that had happened recently and it was driving her crazy. Pictures of the spiders flashed through her mind as well as quotes from her conversation with her parents at the lake. The meeting was flashing in her mind as well but she was unable to organize her thoughts. It was impossible to think clearly right now and she had no idea how she could clear her head. She decided that she would just annoy herself even more if she continued laying on her back and climbed out of bed throwing her robes around her shoulders and walking down to the common room.
She sat down slowly and stared into the roaring fire seeing if this would help. As she had been moving all thoughts had washed out of her mind but now that she was seated again they all flowed back as if someone had just opened a gate and allowed them to run in and overwhelm her completely. She sighed slightly closing her eyes and shouting out loudly. She couldn't believe this was getting to her so badly. "But you know exactly why this is getting to you." The voice piped up. That was another reason why she was now having trouble sleeping. Since her meeting with the others of the seven the voice had made a new appearance and seemed reluctant to leave now. She shook her head slightly and stood up moving towards the portrait. She knew it was too late to be allowed out now but she had to take a walk....to clear her head slightly.....As she moved she kept her head down and allowed her feet to take her where ever they wished.
She looked up after about ten minutes of walking deciding to find out exactly where she had been taken subconsciously. She blinked slightly and was surprised to find herself standing outside in the grounds. She scratched her head slightly knowing why she was here but not wanting to admit it......she had done the right thing......she knew she had......hadn't she? Sighing she leant backwards against the a tree and allowed herself to slide down it slowly, her eyes fixed on the lake in front of her. She breathed deeply and sighed slightly. Rosaliz shook her head for a second and looked at the ground. Everything was so confusing. She couldn't tell what she was doing. It would be too much to ask for help. What she was doing may be dangerous. Whilst trying to learn how to become stronger whilst she was away from Hogwarts Rosaliz had encountered countless numbers of obstacles that had nearly claimed her life. Since returning to Hogwarts she had severed one of her arms, had five glass globes dropped onto her back which resulted in her now having large cut marks across her back where they had shattered and stabbed into her, and finally fallen from the highest window of the divination tower. Could she really ask someone else to join her in that?
She saw the memory of their detention flashing before her eyes and she sighed deeply, bringing her hands up to clutch at the sides of her head as her eyes shut tightly as if to try and stop herself seeing the images. This was no use as they continued moving through her mind. The flashback kept playing over and over again. Still her mother seemed so real. Alive. The way she stepped closer to her ……saying she was glad she felt the way she did……she could almost feel the flood of joy and seemingly unimaginable happiness that had raced through her at that moment and she sighed. Had she not already lived through that moment once already her smile would have been covering her whole face and her heart was still racing regardless, just from the memory of her believing she was actually their……but she knew what was coming……her soft laugh suddenly cutting through her like a knife through butter as that all to familiar draught of icy chill ran through her bones.
The words sent the worst feeling through her. It was almost as if it had been mocking her and they repeated over and over in her mind. She opened her eyes again slowly, wiping away the tears that had began moving down her cheeks, feeling an icy chill was still covering her body.
