She should get over it. But she couldn't.
Ash was in love with Pyro, Pyro was in love with Alexandra Ricci, Ricci was in love with Pyro. So basically she wanted something she couldn't have. Wanted it badly, so badly she would be bitter for days, weeks, months, years, she might never get over it. She might be bitter and full of longing and love till she died. She might die in this terrible agony, she might die of the pain.
She needed to see Ricci, she was desperate to see her.
Ash felt like she was having crucio cast upon her the agony was so terrible, she remembered when Pyro had come in the second time, into the common room and said, she remembered his words well, the tone also,
"talking to yourself, now there's a way to appear sane,"
he'd said it affectionately and though it meant nothing to her at the time it now tore her heart apart, she wished she would die, every moment she spent thinking of Pyro just made it worse. So much worse.
"Kill me!" She suddenly screamed unable to take the pain anymore, "take the pain away! Pyrooooooooooo! Riccciiiiiiiiii!"
She started to sob uncontrollably falling onto the grass with her head in hands, sobbing,whispering,
"no."

Alexandra took a glance around the common room. It seemed too dark and lonely with no one there. Usually, it seemed just like a basement with a few couches, never anything inviting, but Alexandra did like the common room. It was interesting in a gothic, old-worldly way. It reminded her of a place vampires would live, which made her smile in remembrance. She remembered the time, nearly two years before, when her only past time was reading about vampires and wishing she were one. Now, it seemed so childish. Why on earth would she want to be a vampire? She had a life now. No more parents who didn't understand her. No more sister who made her a slave. It was such a relief now that they were in Russia. She smiled to herself. Now she had Pyro, who now was owner of the huge Blackfire mansion. It was such a tragedy that Charles died, but Alexandra realized how much influence Pyro had. She admired him for that, even more than she already had admired him.
She finally sighed and stood. It was time to get some air. The common room seemed so stuffy all of the sudden. She took up a light cloak to cover her short sleeved white, button up shirt and gray pleated skirt. It may be chilly in the early morning. She walked out of the Common Room and directly outside the front doors. She decided a walk around the lake would be nice and off she went.
Suddenly a scream in the distance broke through the sounds of the morning. At first, she thought it was just a wailing scream, but realization dawned on her. It was girl's voice screaming Pyro's name. Confusion flooded her and then she heard her own name. Ricci. Now she was so confused she couldn't take it. She ran toward the voice. Who would be screaming her and Pyro's names? Then she came upon the owner of the screams. A young girl was face down in the grass, crying histerically. Alexandra had never felt more confusion than she did now. She stood there, as the girl repeated 'no' over and over in her sobs. Hands on her hips, Alexandra watched the girl.
"You called?" She asked, her voice confused. She was too confused to even care that the girl was so upset. Besides, it wouldn't have anything to do with her... right?

Ash pulled herself up and stopped sobbing with an effort.
It was Ricci! Handy gossip was.
"Hi," how embarrassing! Ah well.
She saw a look of confusion pass through the girl's face and replied after the girl asked her question,
"yes! I called, what do you want, to ruin my life? well?" she turned away for a moment hating Ricci,
"to voice my feelings I hate you. With a fierce hatred man can't measure. " She wondered how Ricci would take it, she might go away but Ash didn't want her to.
She then remembered what she said to Pyro.
Oh no, she'd point blank refuse to betray Pyro so that was the end of that.
"Stay."

Alexandra's face was frozen in confusion as the girl picked herself up and brushed herself off. After about a five second period of embarassment she was perfectly fine. Alexandra felt her right eyebrow shoot up again in complete awe of the girl before her. The girl who just a second before crying her eyes out was now calm and content standing there. Then the girl turned away and began speaking about how much she hated Alexandra. Now she was even more confused. She didn't even know this girl.
"Umm..." Alexandra mumbled. Was this girl being serious? How could she hate her when she didn't even know her?
Stay, the girl said. What did that mean? Alexandra wasn't going anywhere. There was no way she could walk away at this point. A complete stranger, who looked much younger than herself, was screaming her name and now telling her she hated her with a passion. Her head was begining to hurt with how much confusion was running around her mind.
"You hate me?" Alexandra said, mostly to herself, but loud enough for the other girl, "How am I ruining your life, I don't even know you!"

Ash sighed, she had to ruin things for Pyro and make a start of telling her. Ah well she'd fix it up as best she could,
"i thought you were someone else," she lied, nearly gritting her teeth though she had no idea why.
"I don't really want to talk about it," that should get her out of telling who and what,
"sorry," maybe she could turn this to her advantage and find out more about Ricci.................
"uh, can you tell me about you?"

Alexandra felt more and more confusion the longer she stood there staring at the younger girl in front of her. The girl claimed to be mistaken. That she mixed up Alexandra with someone else, but she wasn't fooled. This girl was trully heartbroken, Alexandra could see that, and there was no way that she could mistake something that meant that much to her. Feeling annoyed at the confusion running through her veins instead of blood, Alexandra crossed her arms over her chest and stared at the girl. Now she wanted to know about Alexandra. Changing the subject to avoid things, especially when it concerned Pyro, was no way to get on her good side.
"I don't think so." She said, meaning she didn't believe that the girl was mistaken, "You know who I am, don't you?" She paused, watching the girl closely, "How do you know my boyfriend?" Alexandra asked, her eyes narrowing dangerously.

Ash sighed having no idea how to proceed, the truth would probably be best, now I'm turning into a idiot Gryffindor, she thought but said,
"let's make a deal, you don't make trouble for Pyro because," here her voice took on a bitter edge, "he loves you, not me oh no, I'm just a Slytherin girl he doesn't mind being seen with, and then," her voice became more normal and even, "I'll tell you anything you want to know, what do you want to know?" Hysterically she said, "It's all obvious! Everything!"

Now it was fear that gripped Alexandra's whole body. She tensed and her hands began to shake. Pyro has been cheating on her? She bit her lip and stared at the girl in front of her. Anger began coursing through her veins and she knew her face was paling from the effort of staying under control.
"What are you talking about!?" Alexandra screamed. She was so angry she wanted to hit something. She glared at the younger girl in front of her.
"Are you telling me that Pyro... that you and... you two..." She was trembling now, hardly able to believe what the girl was saying. She took a deep breath, trying to regain control.

NO NO NO! She was taking things the wrong way!
"THATS NOT TRUE! Pyro LOVES you, LOVES you, don't you understand? I hate you because Pyro loves you not me! YOU! you you you you you! He doesn't mind if people see me with him but that's all! That's it! He doesn't give a flip if I live or die! I love him but there is no way on earth he's cheating on you! He told me that he loved you, that there's no way he'd part with you, I am paraphrasing but that's the way he said it! Don't you realise! I know everyone's really touchy about this stuff, but it's true!"
She took a breath hoping against hope the girl understood. What if she got Pyro in trouble? She HAD to make Ricci understand! If she got the other girl calm enogh to see reason............. That might work. If. If she could get Ricci calm, if she could get her to stop screaming.
"Look," she said reasonably, "why would Pyro cheat on you? You seem to think that if he said a word to another girl he would love her. That's not true, look for Pyro's sake calm down!" her calm, reasonable deamanor vanished for a moment and she breathed heavily for a moment,
"can we PLEASE talk reason? Pyro was REALLY upset when I saw him, Once I heard you sort of broke up I knew that was the cause, he didn't show it of course though," she smiled sadly and said softly, "he's a Blackfire."

Alexandra was immediately taken aback by the girl's sudden explosion. This girl was so very emotional it was quite annoying to Alexandra. Her shock at hearing that a stranger loved her fiance, was suddenly replaced by disgust and annoyance. This girl was getting on Alexandra's nerves. Gritting her teeth, Alexandra took as much as she could, but when the girl said "please talk reason" like she was the crazy one, Alexandra snapped. "OH WILL YOU SHUT UP!" She screamed in annoyance. This girl needed to stop. "I am the calm one, you're the one who's running your mouth as if I was pulling out my hair! Stop! You are so annoying!" Alexandra felt like strangling the girl. So... Pyro wasn't cheating. He wasn't doing anything but dealing with the girl, while thinking of Alexandra. That made her feel better. But this little third year wasn't getting off that easily. Falling for her fiance? That was enough to make Alexandra scream for an hour. Quiet, guarded little Alexandra Ricci would finally break her shell. This anger was enough. The anger coursing through her veins. She hated this young, naive girl. Yes, she was taking it too far by being so angry, but Pyro was the only person who cared about her. She wasn't going to lose the only person who's ever loved her to some little, annoying third year. ((OOC: by the way. I like the new avatar. It looks much better.  ) |

Hmm, the girl was older than her, so she'd try to patch that up, shrugging she said,
"sorry if I'm being annoying, it's who I am unless it's with my friends or someone I like," sheesh! That was going to give the wrong impression she hurridely followed it up with,
"if someone seems nice that is."
Oh great, Ricci also seemed angry, Ash did not want to make Pyro's fianceee angry,
"sorry."

Alexandra's eyes narrowed suspiciously at the girl's sudden apology. What was this girl's plan? Say she's sorry to get on the good side of Alexandra so that she could get close to Pyro? Or is it a true apology? Does she really want to be Alexandra's friend?
Alexandra sighed. She'd never gotten so emotional before. Usually her anger was enough to hold inside, but this girl crossed the line. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared at the girl, her eyes in a suspicious glare. Was she to trust this girl?
"Really?" She said, steal in her voice, "You're actually sorry?"

"No," Ash admitted, "I don't feel sorry in the slightest, that's because other people are touchy about those things and I'm really not so I just don't understand how they feel."
She suddenly became interested in a blade of grass as she added,
"I said sorry because Pyro wouldn't want you upset, angry, annoyed Et Cetera and I don't want to do that to him. And no, I'm not trying to get closer to him."
Ash sighed and looked around, the sky was blue, clear as day. (Ha ha ha). Everything could be considered perfect. But not from Ash's point of view, at least everything was better than when this confrontation started, but Ash was hardly an optimist and this didn't make a difference to her.

Renewed anger coursed through her yet again. Alexandra stared, dumbstruck at the girl for nearly a whole minute after her words. She was sorry because of Pyro? Alexandra threw her arms in the air, a way of giving up. Yelling a frustrated yell, Alexandra threw a very angery glare at the younger girl, turned on her heal and stormed away.
Alexandra shook her head as she walked back to the castle. That girl was the most infuriating, silly, and confusing people Alexandra had ever met. Maybe the child had some sort of problem. Her moods shifted so quickly. One second she was angery at Alexandra for being in love with Pyro and the next she's apologizing, then she doesn't mean anything she says! Alexandra sighed, ready to forget all about the younger girl and just focus on her and Pyro. Not some third year and Pyro.
