What is a guy to do?

Timothy found himself sitting in one of the chairs, in the slytherin common room, slouched and looking as if he was reading a book. He wanted to look as if he was a smart guy and not just a pretty face, like most of the girls he knew thought of him as that way. Just a handsome face!

There was only one person that knew about the girl he liked and that was Jake Naito. He was a Grifindor, and even though Slytherin's and Griffindor's don't get along that well, Jake was a good friend to Timothy.

Timothy knew that the girl he liked didn't know that he liked her and wanted to keep it that way but at the same time he wanted so bad to tell her so he could see how she felt about him and of course to see how she would react, hopeing it would be in a good way.

So as Timothy sat in the chair he had somewhat of an argument with himself still trying to figure out wether or not he should tell her and if so what he should say, if anything at all.

Pagan walked down from her dorm which had been empty. Which was unfortunate for Pagan who had the sudden urge to actually talk to someone.
She stopped at the bottom of the stairs and looked around the common room and only seeing one other person from her year. A boy who was staring at a book in front of him.
She walked over to where he was sitting and sat down in a nearby chair and raised an eyebrow, trying not to seem too much like a stupid little Hufflepuff.
"Interesting book?" she asked and sat back waiting for his response.

Timothy stopped readin and looked up from his book to find a girl from his year and shocked that he knew exactly who this girl was, well ok he didn't really know her name but he could tell that it was the girl he liked. This was the girl that he had watched so many times before walking around the halls and once even followed her and was about to talk to her when a bunch of his buddies jumped on him and distracted him from her. Timothy had been planning to talk to her and now that she was there talking to him he couldn't find then words to say hey, oh it's ok but not as better as looking at you Timothy would have never said that only in his mind. Timothy was a ladies man and never acted like he liked someone unless she told him first. Timothy finally said " Oh it's ok. It's just about spells, ya know not that interesting......well unless you think it is!" Timothy shook his head and yelled at himself in his mind, how could of said something so stupid like that to the girl he liked?

Timothy looked at this girl and was distracted by her eyes, he found himself staring at them for the longest time, and when he finally caught himself doing this he knew it was gonna go all down hill from there. He, of course, didn't want this to happen so he tried to start a conversation.

" so what your name? i forgot it kind of....well hey lets be honest i don't think i was ever told your name. My name's Timothy but you can call me Tim if you want". Timothy put on his charming smile that no one has ever turned away from. And he was hopeing that that she wouldn't turn away. Timothy thought that she was the most beautifuul girl he had seen, at hogwarts. Sure Timothy has said this to many girls but hey he hasn't yet said this to her so he didn't start to feel guilty, the thing is that this time he wasn't lieing he really did think she was Beautiful.

"Me? No I'm more of a potions person" she said grinning at him stumbling over his words.
"I'm Pagan Mason" she introduced herself flicking her hair out of her eyes and trying her best not to react to his cute smile.
"Funny how we've been in the same year and house for 3 years and never talked" she commented biting her lip as she tried to think of a time when they'd talked and came up with a blank.

Timothy smiled and relplied " Oh yeah me too potions are pretty cool, i mean they're alright ...i guess." Timothy didn't really go crazy for neither the spells or the potions, but he wanted Pagan to like him and he was sort of atracted to potions but not that much. Timothy thought of her name and wanted to say something nice about it like a ryme. He wanted to tell her a romantic ryme that rymed with her name but couldn't think of one. Timothy had never really met someone with the name of Pagan. Timothy thought that her name was a good name it had that sort of cool ring to it. It wasn't that popular of a name but it was also unique. Timothy looked at Pagan and smiled her name matched her beauty. Timothy wanted at this time so bad to tell her that he liked her but wasn't sure how she would react, on account she didn't really react to his charming smile, which was a first.

Timothy laughed as she told him how she thought it was funny that they haven't talked and they've been in the same house and year for 3 years. Timothy was thankful that she didn't ever see him when he watched her in the halls and followed her. Timothy remembered that day, when he followed her. It was just after he had talked to his buddy Jake and gopt advice about telling her that he liked her. Timothy was standing against the wall reading a book and saw her walk by, it was then that he was caught by her amazing beauty and started walking. He didn't realize that he was following her but he told himself that he was going to say something to her, anything just say something. Timothy had opened his mouth to say excuse me or something and then his buddies jumped on him and told him about some kid they had picked on or something Timothy didn't pay attenbtion. Timothy just watched as she walked away.

Timothy laughed and smiled his charming smile again, "Yea maybe we have seen each other but never got the chance to talk. I've been reall buzy with homework and stuff you know. So am i gonna get in trouble for talking to you by your boyfriend or something?" Timothy wanted to make sure she wasn't with anyone, so that way he would know if he could continue to flirt with her like he was already doing but hoped she couldn't really tell that he was.

Pagan laughed whole-heartedly at his last question. Pagan had never dated and never thought of dating, it wasn't really high on her list of things to do but then again, she reminded herself, she was always up for something new.
"Oh yeah, he's a big guy" she joked, "Lots of tattoos, but really no I don't have a boyfriend. Not that anyone can ever stop me from talking to someone anyway"

Timothy smiled as he heard what he wanted to hear, she was single and yet she seemed as if she didn't need a boyfriend. Timothy got up and smiled down at her, he then went to put another log on the fire, Timothy wanted something to do so he didn't just stare at Pagan the whole time.

Timothy sat back down and happliy said, "well that's good. Yea i don't have a girlfriend right now either. I'm looking for someone special.

Pagan watched him curiously as he put another log in the fire. Was is just her or was Timothy really nervous? She internally shrugged to herself and flicked her hair behind her shoulder again.
“Hey man you’re only 13” she said trying make him feel better, “Got anyone in mind?”
She raised an eyebrow curiously and looked around the common room for someone who might be Timothy’s type. She may have been a Slytherin but she was still a teenage girl and was curious about who it would be.
