Ash felt her sly side coming out, the side that could make anyone believe her. "Those cunning folk" the sorting hat had said. Well that was how she felt at the moment, loaded with extreme manipulation.

Valmer walked into the common room, anxious to get a little relaxation in before he headed to his class later that day. He hadn't done any homework that day, and it made him feel pretty good. For once he didn't have to worry about anything, not even schoolwork was going to get him down today. He made up a tune as he almost waltzed around the huge room, eying whoever was in there, seeing who was sitting in the lover's couches tonight. Eh, no one particularly interesting, he thought to himself.
He glanced over to the one corner, and saw a girl, was it...Ashakiran? Yes, Ash Gandhi. A Slyth third year. She always seemed to be alone, as far as he had seen her, and he wondered why. She seemed to be muttering something to herself, but he couldn't really even tell what she was doing. Valmer walked over and hopped over the couch to land right down next to her, and as he did, he secretly hoped it would freak her out, which that kind of thing usually did, to unsuspecting people.

Ash turned to "Valmer" a boy she recognised. He was a fifth year, he actually had surprised her when he jumped onto the couch but she didn't show anything... Or so she hoped. "Hello," she said, trying to measure him. That was when she realised what had happened. She wasn't really Slytherin anymore. She couldn't manipulate and twist people. She just couldn't because she was out of practice or something. But no matter whether it was out of practice or not because she knew then, at that moment that she should be resorted or something. She had no ambition or cunning and she couldn't get back in practice. Ah well, at least she'd try no longer. "What are you doing?" Ash asked, not sure what she'd say if he asked her the same question, "hanging around?"

"Oh," he said, as she asked what he was doing. "I'm just in a good mood and running around the common room like a mad man. I'm not sure why I'm in such a good mood, nothing majorly good happening in my life right now. I'm just hyper, I guess." He didn't usually act this way, but it might have been the extra dessert he had had at lunch that day. He wasn't sure of anything at all, but he did know that he had freaked Ash out a bit. She had jumped slightly when he suddenly appeared next to her. That was one thing he couldn't wait for, learning how to apparate. Appearing in random places when no one expected it, oh wow. What he could do with something like that.
Valmer looked at Ash, and immediately questioned, "What are you doing? Contemplating world domination? I've heard that's the newest trend with a few Slytherins nowadays. Any major plans going on?" He wasn't really sure what else to ask, she seemed like she really didn't want to talk much at all.

"Good mood, eh?" Ash said, suprised he'd replied. He was a Slytherin wasn't he? Wasn't he supposed to regard her with distaste? Ah, well, Ash wasn't complaining.
"What am I doing?" Oh this really was ironic, ah well, her public persona seemed to be pore everything out and be regarded as stupid so here she goes. "I was just realising how I ought to be resorted because I'm so unSlytherin."
