Flitwick watched the bright sunlight filter through the windows high up in the classroom, shining all around the room down towards the desks. It was great to have some natural light around, even if it did show up how dusty the room was...he really did need to clean up all the books and sort them out sometime. Luckily summer was coming up and he'd be able to do some cleaning then as he wasn't teaching as much when the students were doing their exams. They were just a couple of weeks off now, and he was pleased to have finished all the courses with plenty of time to spare to go over some of the trickier charms.
It was just after lunchtime, and Flitwick was due to be teaching his NEWT class that afternoon. He enjoyed teaching them as they were all very shilled at Charms, and obviously enjoyed it-well, the vast majority did, or they wouldn't've chosen to do the NEWT, whereas in the younger classes there were always some that didn't enjoy it and some that always did badly. He enjoyed being able to teach some of the most advanced charms and then watch them being performed successfully by the class.
Students began to enter the classroom after eating their lunch, most looking happy and enthusiastic about the class, which Flitwick was always glad to see. He started putting out small blocks of wood infront of each desk, ready for the first tak he was going to set the students to do. He hoped that this lesson wouldn't be too difficult for them, as it was a recap of some previous work they'd done. Quite soon after he'd finished setting out the blocks the final students arrived and he was ready to begin the class.
"Right, class, today is going to be a recap lesson mostly, seeing as, for you 7th years, the final exam isn't far off, and 6th years your end-of-year exam is also soon and you need to know everything you've done this year. Right, to start with we're going to practise "Aguamenti"...now who can tell me what this charm does, and what it is primarily used for?" He waited as several students raised their hands, and called on one sitting near the back of the room to answer his question, hoping that they remembered back to the beginning of the year, and that all of the other students did too.
((First student to post here can answer the question...other students feel free to post here too-I'll be setting a task for everyone in my next post. Thank You.))
