“Please?” “No.” “Jami!” “Wendi.” Jamison and Wendi Parson surely had a way with words. Their constant ‘light’ arguments in the corridors were often quite comical. The pair were good friends, but for the people who didn’t know better, they would think that the Parson siblings were just a torn apart family. Nope, the bickering was just part of their humor. They had always been that way really. The two siblings needed each other too much to actually fight. Really, they hadn’t had a fight since that year that Keith reappeared, but it seemed that he was gone for good. Well, hopefully. Maybe. Jami concluded that something must have happened to Keith after Emory’s murder. What? Jamison had no idea, but he couldn’t help but wonder. Jamison gave his younger sister a half smile as they made their way out to the grounds. Wendi would continue to pester him until she got what she wanted. Why did all little sisters seem to be that way? Wendi didn’t know, but it was pretty annoying really. Jamison pulled his Ravenclaw scarf closer to his neck as the cold November wind over took them. Yep, it was sure to be a cold night.
“I just need a few gallons.” Wendi persisted. Jamison sighed. Since his little sister refused to get a weekend job in Hogsmeade, Jamison was her source of income over the school year. “I gave you enough for the semester at in September.” He told her what she already knew. Wendi sighed and rolled her eyes. “I know, but those shoes were so cute and..” She gave Jamison the puppy face. “Wendi Eden-Grace, you are fifteen years old. Must you do that?” Wendi nodded and smiled. “How many?” He asked giving in a bit. “Only a few…” Jamison raised an eye-brow. “Like tenish.” Jamison sighed and smiled at his sister. He had never really found it in his heart to say know to his sister. He saw so much of his mother in her that it was very hard to say no. Jamison sighed and reached into his pocket. “Here. But, can you stay and help me set up the refreshments for the Bonfire?” He asked. Wendi laughed and smiled. “As if big brother. I have to get ready. I have a date!” She giggled and dashed off. “With who? Wendi!” He called after her. Too late. She was already headed for the castle, but her giggles could still be heard from the Bonfire location. “Little sisters.”
Jamison went about setting the Refreshment Table up with a few spells. It wasn’t anything fancy really, but this was the Bonfire after all. The Winter Ball was a completely different story. The table was set up with fall colors, gold and orange and other tones. There was a bowl full of Pumpkin Juice. The ladle served the beverage to anyone who touched a cup. Then, several cups of Butterbeer were already set up and ready for anyone to grab and then there was a water container that a professor had gotten from muggles somewhere. Jamison sighed as he finished setting up the table. He smiled lightly as students began to walk out to the Bonfire. He didn’t really have plans for the night. He was just to set up the Refreshment Table and stay around for awhile to assist anyone and monitor the event. Jamison smiled as the event was beginning.
