Charisma hurried to try and get her things packed and ready. It was ten thirty already, and Charisma was only just starting to pack. Her father was waiting for her in the foyer and Tyler was downstairs as well. Tyler was the only muggle that knew about Charisma's secret. She had many muggle friends, but only Tyler knew. Finally, she was packed and ready to go.
Charisma hauled her heavy trunk down the stairs of the old mansion and finally arrived in the foyer where Tyler and her father were waiting. "Hey, I'm ready. Do you want to head out?' She said, blowing her bangs out of her eyes with one small breath. "Yeah, let's get out of here." Tyler said with a shrug as he helped carry Charisma's trunk across the street. The journey to and from King's Cross was never difficult, considering Charisma lived right across the street. She walked through the barrier and Tyler and her father followed. "Well this is it. I'll be sure to write the both of you every day." She gave her father a hug and then she gave one to Ty. Tyler was practically a member of the family now. Charisma did everything with him. "I'll see you soon, Iz." He said. Charisma boarded the train and entered a compartment near the back. She looked out the window and blew Ty and her dad a kiss as the train took off. She sat back down and took out a magazine. She started to read an article about some new singer named Ezzie when the compartment door slided open.

Sep packed her few things and said a very unamotional goodbye to those in the shelter where she lived. She walked to the station by herself. She did it in her normal way though. Ducking and diving, skimming through stores and nicking a few things along the way. It was a long walk but Sep was used to it. Her bag was tiny and didn't slow her down at all. She was there soon and slid through the border inconspiciously. She was good at that. She weaved her way through the crowd and made her way to the back of the train a Slytherin boy stuck his foot out but she jumped neatly over it with a smirk in his direction. The boy seemed to be a seventh year and his mates laughed at him. Sep snickered along with them but soon was out of earshot. She went along and gently opened a comprtment thinking it was empty. Tough luck. There was one third year Gryffindor in there. Sep strode in. "I presume I can sit here," said Sep without waiting for an answer and seating herself opposite the other girl."I'm Septimus, what's your name?"

Charisma skimmed through the article quickly, not all that interested in the life of this 'rising star'. However, the article was written by her dad, so she felt she had to read it. The girl was about Charisma's age, and she was a witch too. Charisma wondered if this 'Ezzie' would be going to Hogwarts. As Charisma read through the last few sentences, the compartment door slid open. She looked up and smiled a bit as a girl that seemed to be in her first year entered the compartment. Charisma couldn't help but think back to her first year. Despite what her father and cousins had told her, she was still scared of the year ahead. This girl didn't seem at all scared. She actually looked kind of bored.
"I presume I can sit here," said the girl as she seated herself across from Charisma. I'm Septimus, what's your name?" Charisma blinked, slightly taken aback by the girl's suddeness.
"Umm sure. You can sit here, Septimus." Charisma said with a bright kind smile. "I'm Charisma Turner, Gryffindor third year. Although I'm not really sure how much you know about Hogwarts since you're first year and all. You are in first year right?" Charisma said, placing the magazine down, glad to have an excuse not to read it.

Sep scowled. "I am a first year yes, but I'm not a moron no. In case you were wondering because you rather implied it. "Oh and nice to meet you."

A deep yell came from the ground floor, and Samuel was quick to follow its instructions, grabbing his trunk he headed down there stairs. His father was there waiting to load his trunk into the ministry car. It was the same every year, since Samuel had started at Hogwarts two years ago and this would be no different. Although Samuel didn’t mind he was usually up early and couldn’t wait to leave as the conversation with his father were nothing short, of evil looks and slight grunts. He knew that if his mother were still alive, things would be completely different, and often tried, to think what it would be like if his mother was here, seeing him off. “See you over the Holiday then?” Samuel said to his father who replied with a small grunt, before he turned on his heals and left the hallway. Samuel, however did not appear to have bothered with this response and got in to the car, letting out a small sighed... quite unsure how he was actually feeling. There was little conversation between Samuel and the drive a part form the occasional “You looking forward to it” And “Good day to be going back” Samuel wasn’t in the mood, for talking much. He couldn’t help think that this year was only going to get worse, half hour later, they were at the train station, and he was heading through the barricade that divided them and the Hogwarts express alone, as usual. Samuel walked through the crowd, walking up the train, and boarded in a deserted section, hoping to get a compartment alone, he came to the end one in his section, and reached the finial compartment, it was the emptiest apart from two girls, one he recognised form Gryffindor but couldn’t be bothered to take any notice, and another looked like a first year He walked in to the compartment, placed his trunk above the chair and planted himself under it opposite to the girls; he then sat with his legs up stretched across the chair, and began to read, THE SNITCH. {{Sorry it took so long for me to reply}}

This girl was definitely going to be a Slytherin. Charisma could tell by her extremely sour attitude. Charisma tried to smile anyway though. She wasn't in the mood for a fight right now. Suddenly, the compartment door slid open once again. This time, a Slytherin boy from her year walked in and sat down quietly. She wondered what the Slytherin was doing in here with a Gryffindor and a first year, but she sighed as the boy pulled out something to read. What odd company she was in.
"I wasn't implying that you were a moron, Septimus. It's just that most students don't know a thing about Hogwarts unless they've grown up pure. Seeing as I don't know your background, I assumed that you didn't know much about the school. I was going to fill you in, but seeing as you seem to know it all already, I guess I don't have to." She said, glancing up at her owl, Buttercup, who was watching the conversation with interest.
"Do you know what house you think you'll be sorted into?" Charisma said, once again attempting to start a friendly conversation with the first year. The Slytherin boy didn't seem to be interested in a conversation, so she left him alone for the time being.

Okay, so now Sep definitely wasn't going to tell Charisma, or Turner as they would say here, that she actually didn't know a thing about Hogwarts. Then a Slytherin boy came in without saying a word. She definitely didn't want to be in a "house" full of people like that. She completely ignored him and turned back to Turner. "What house? I'm not sure. You're gryffindor I presume? What's that like?"

"What house? I'm not sure. You're gryffindor I presume? What's that like?" Septimus asked, basically admitting to Charisma that she didn't know anything about Hogwarts after all. But that was perfectly fine. Not everyone had Hogwarts, A History engraved into their skulls. She smiled at the first year.
"Yup, I'm a proud Gryffindor. Gryffindors are most well known for being brave. There's also Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs are generally nice people. The Ravenclaws are known for their brains, and the Huffles for their loyalty. Slytherins, in my opinion, are just known for being bitter, mean, and conceited. The house is full of purebloods. Most of them seem to think they're better than everyone else just because they're cousins are all wizards. But don't judge people on their house. I've met plenty of nasty Hufflepuffs and nice Slytherins in my time here. Things aren't always what they seem." Charisma said, glancing at the Slytherin boy.

"Yeah, I gathered the Slytherins weren't exactly courteous," said Sep, rather pointedly looking at the Slytherin boy as she did so. Even on the streets there was a type of etiquette. She didn't like thinking of it that way but there was. While thieving might not have been considered rude, intruding in this way certainly was. "So, Ravenclaws brains, Hufflepuffs loyalty, Gryffindors bravery. Slytherin must stand for something good though, it wouldn't make sense otherwise." Not that Sep credited the wizarding world and the people in it for their common sense. They were all slightly insane, was what her opinion was. She hadn't met any street wizards or witches yet. She expected there wasn't any since with magic no one had to be poor. Half of them were downright prissy and rude. Like someone who happened to be in their compartment. Annoying richies.
Out of the window the countryside sped by. She'd be there soon, in fact it was probably time to change. "Are you getting into robes now?" Sep asked the older girl. Sep'd be at Hogwarts soon, what terrifying thought. Sep wondered what house she'd be sorted into and what it would be like yet again. It would be strange Sep knew. She was too proud to ask the other girl outright though and she couldn't say it discreetly. At least, she didn't know how. "So, when's the first glimpse of Hogwarts?" Then she'd know when to look for the castle at least. Everyone always seemed to say how brilliant and magnificent it was but the type of thing that other people called beauty wasn't really what Sep thought. She had quite different opinions to everyone else, special in her way, some people might say but Sep didn't really think so. She really was different.
