Harrison twirled the silver engagement ring in his index finger and thumb. It was his great grandmother's engagement ring, and he had yet to give it to Dixie. It was a handsome ring, with a garnet stone in the center and divine designs in intiricate lines. Harrison knew it was the right size as well, he had asked Mackenzie what size ring Dixie had worn - and although Dixie seemed to be very against this engagement - Harrison felt compelled to give her the ring anyway. She intrigued him. He didn't know why, but she did. Maybe it was because she put on an air of importance - when she knew she wasn't that important. No matter how much she told everyone she wasn't, Dixie still was clinically insane. And Harrison seemed to be the only one who could completely understand that about her. Sighing, Harrison put the ring back into the velvet pouch he had gotten it from - and tucked that into the pocket in his robes.
He then stood from the chair in his dorm and headed into the common room, which was almost empty except for a few. He didn't even look to see who was in there, he left the common room and made his way up the stairs to the Great Hall. Harrison had missed dinner, having finished his novel he had been reading for the millionth time. It was a book in Russian, but it was one of his favourite books. It was, in fact, the book he was reading when he had his first actual ocnversation with Dixie - so now every word he read from it made him remember something about she said or something he was thinking. It was hard to get through the book this time, having been distracted almost every other sentence. But he had finished it, and then he had sat in his dorm thinking about everything that was going on in his life. When Harrison entered the Great Hall, he nodded to a few people and then grabbed an apple, a roll with some roast beef inside it - and a glass of juice before heading back to the common room.
This time when he entered there was only one person in there, somoene he recognized as Caleb - a 6th year. Harrison sat down on the couch, sinking into and set his glass of juice down on the table beside the couch along with his apple. He nodded at Caleb and then took a bite of his roll roast beef sandwhich. When he swallowed he turned his attention back to Caleb, "Ever try this?" He asked, holding up his roll.
