Luna skipped into the Ravenclaw common room just a little sadly. She didn’t have her sling anymore so Snafflehorned Snarglemangs had left to live somewhere else. Luna even missed the brightly coloured sling too. It had been so pretty! And she had drawn so much onto it, wanting to make the Snafflehorned Snarglemangs feel at home. Ignoring the sound of mocking laughter following her, Luna touched happily the big blinkingly red christmas balls hanging from her ears. She had made herself some new jewelry and new outfits over the summer. The hippo-muggles had the best sense of fashion! Right now Luna was wearing a knee-length green skirt that was covered with stripes of other clothes going in every irection possible. She was wearing a pair of range slip-ons, a huge straw-hat that had seen better day on her head and a pink shirt with a huge Hippo dancing it’s way over it while wearing a hula-skirt.
Entering the common room Luna was singing softly to herself as she looked around. A boy was in here. Reading. Will was a 6th year Ravenclaw too. Luna didn’t really know him well. But with houses starting to unity she would have to unite with her house-mates too. Skipping over Luna sat onto the armchair opposing the one Will was sitting in. After a few moments Luna pulled her legs up under her. Leaning forward Luna rested her elbows on the seat of the armchair and curled up satisfactingly in this position. Shifting the hat on her head a little Luna grinned and started staring at Will happily.

((Look what I got to! *does a jig while throwing confetti around*))
Will lounged in the Ravenclaw common room, at peace with everything in the surrounds. He had sat in this chair for five years now, and the room seemed so familiar. If someone moved one thing in the room, he would be able to spot it immediately. After all, he spent most of his days either in the common room, or outside, which were his two 'homes.' He smiled and subtly brushed a stray string off his shirt, which was a faded blue t-shirt with the Ravenclaw symbol. He grinned and let his gaze wonder over to the window, where the rain pounded in great quantity. It sent a rhythmic pounding through his body, making him feel at ease for some odd reason. The door to the common room opened, making Will look up. Luna Lovegood - a fellow Ravenclaw sixth year - bounced into the room. Instantly, snickers went through the room, but Will didn't join in. Instead, he glared at the participants, hiding a smile himself, and reached over to read his book again. It caught his attention every time he opened it, so he soon forgot about the laughter and 'loony Luna.'
The book was about horses and the different way to clean and house them. It was a muggle book, but Will adored it. He payed particular attention to the tack and it's cost. He would have to buy some for Luce soon, if he was intending on training him. Will flipped through the pages, ignoring the pretty pictures, and went to the facts, reading them over and over again. He was so lost in reading he didn't notice another person sit herself down opposite him and began to stare. He only noticed when the facts began to repeat themselves, meaning it was a sign for him to stop. William placed the book back on the table, starting when he finally noticed Luna sitting there. She was grinning, which Will took as a good sign. He had never actually gotten to know Luna, but the rumors that followed her around explained a lot about her personality.
"Hello?" Will said, stating it as a question since Luna had failed to greet him. His eyes shifted over her hat, the earrings, the hippo-shirt and the multi-colored skirt. A soft smile twisted his features and he grinned at Luna with some amusement. "I like the new style, Luna. Where did you happen to get that intriguing Hippo shirt and the wonderful earrings? I will have to visit the store sometime, to possibly spruce up my own style." He glanced down at his worn jeans and messy shirt with disdain before placing his attention back on the sixth year. He grinned at Luna to prove to her he wasn't joking about her style and being cruel, but was honestly asking. Running a hand through his hair, Will crossed his legs at the ankles and sank deeper into the chair for obvious comfort during the conversation that would hopefully come soon.

The boy was immersed in reading so Luna didn’t bother her. She just stayed curled up on the armchair and watched him. You could tell a lot about a person by watching him. If the person didn’t notice you then the emotions were displayed well and sincerely. Luna liked that. The boy stopped reading rater soon however and Luna smiled giving a small wave with both of her hands before leaning her chin on her hands again. „Hello.“ Luna beamed happily at Will raising up so she was now kneeling on the armchair so Will could see her complete outfit. „I made it myself. Hippo-people dress like this. Daddy showed me pictures and told me about hippo-people in the summer before we went on that expedition in the Amazon rainforests. They listen to the greatest music! And they dress so good!“
“We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
And our friends are all on board Many more of them live next door And the band begins to play
We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
As we live a life of ease Everyone of us has all we need Sky of blue and sea of green In our yellow submarine.
We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine We all live in our yellow submarine, Yellow submarine, yellow submarine.” Luna sang out loudly. It was one of her favorite songs! It was so happy and cheerful. And who wouldn’t want to live in submarines? Grachendels liked submarines! They liked yellow and either bright colours too so it would be perfect. “And I made the airings myself. It’s a rather easy charm you know. But I don’t think red is exactly your colour. Perhaps green or blue?” Luna pouted a little as she observed William before suddenly smiling again. “I know! I’ll make you striped multicolour ear-rings! That way you can wear them with many different things!”

Will grinned at Luna with straight out amusement, wondering if she was always this excited. He had gone to classes with Luna many a time, but never had he been sitting with her or conversing in any manner. He observed her outfit with a smile as she explained it's origins. "Hippo-people?" Will asked with a voice of confusion. "I've never heard of them. Do they like....live with hippos or..." Will was befuddled when it came to hippo-people. He had been a muggle until age eleven and still he had never heard of 'hippo-people.' He was glad when Luna said something about the Amazon Rain-forest, which gave away that the hippo-people might be the Amazons. He looked honestly amused when Luna then began to sing a song that belonged to the Amazons. He had never heard of it, but at the moment he knew better then to question Luna's ideas and 'facts.'
"A lovely song," William said with a grin at Luna. "Perhaps I can learn it sometime? Lately, I've been piled under homework but maybe over a break we can fit it in?" Will winked at Luna. He was enjoying himself with her; never had he met someone so...well...laid-back like Ms. Lovegood. He leaned back in the chair himself, letting his head rest back in a rather comfortable position. "Of course," William said as Luna thought over what earrings she should make for him. "Multi-colors is so much more stylish then red," Will smiled at Luna. "What spell is it exactly? Would you care to show me?" He touched his earlobes absently, wondering what it would feel like to have ear-rings attached. He shrugged; as long as they were removable, he would be perfectly fine. He leaned back, letting his thoughts roam around his head in the soft silence that fell on them. He had been thinking about the Halloween Ball lately.
"Luna," Will said with a fresh grin, anticipating her answer to his next question. "I need your advice. What costume should I wear to the Ball? I'm clueless and I need to decide soon before it's too late. What should I go as?" Will observed Luna, wondering distinctly if she had ever been asked for opinion. He knew that she wasn't the one of the popular girls, although her recent friendship with Harry Potter had cast some spotlight on her. He smiled again as he looked up and down her costume once more.
