Ash walked up and down aisles trying to find a place to sit, finally she found one and sat down. She was already visulising the Gandhi Manor, with it's spectacular furniture and ceilings. She stopped her reverie for a second and looked out the window, the landscape was flying past, beatiful as ever. She took one last look at hogwarts before it disapeared out of site, going back into her reverie she revewed the last year at hogwarts. She had changed, anyone could tell that much. She had begun to question the ideas her father had put into her head. She'd made a friend in Gryffindor, but Merlin knew why. She'd fallen in love with a boy with a feonce.
Getting out of her reverie for a second time Ash stared out the window again. The lush greeness of scotland flew past. Enchanting her, she loved scottish scenery, the greeness, the hills and everything.

Ezzie threw her last book into her trunk before setting off to the Hogwarts Express. It had been a great year, filled with countless days in the lake, staying up late by the fire, and basically enjoying her life at Hogwarts. Now it was back to working at that stupid five star hotel all day and returning to the homeless shelter at night. Working in a hotel like hers, Ezzie was constantly reminded of the horrific life she had, and the amazingly luxurious life she'd never have. Ezzie sighed as she picked up her cat to go back to London. She was supposed to leave all her belongings in her room so the house elves could get it, but she couldn't bare to leave her cat alone.
She rode the carriage to Hogsmeade alone, with no one but her cat beside her. People often thought she was odd for her clothes, and the way she looked. She had been at Hogwarts two years, and she still didn't make any friends. As her carriage approached the train station, Ezzie took one last look at Hogwarts. She wasn't going to see the wonderful place again until September first, many weeks away.
She searched through the compartments, stopping here and there to ask for a seat and being turned down or made fun of. Finally, she came to a compartment with only one person sitting in it. It was a girl, looking out the window. Ezzie's heart sank. The girl was a Slytherin. She would never let the likes of a muggle born anywhere near her. Ezzie looked around once more, and saw nowhere else to sit, so she decided she'd make an attempt at sitting with the Slytherin.
"Excuse me," Ezzie said timidly. "But would it be okay if I sat here? everywhere else is full."

Ash nearly started when she heard someone say something but she covered it up quickly and looked at the girl disdainfully. A Gryffindor. Third year. Maybe she'd play for a little bit. It would get boring by herself. "Hello,"she drawled, "absolutely spiffing to be meeting you, do sit down."
"Well! Come in! If everywhere else is full and you've dared venture into the lair of a Slytherin who may well think you're a muggleborn I daresay you'd like a seat!" "Or are you scared," her voice was soft and all the more frightening, "are we scared of the big bad Slytherin? Aren't you supposed to be brave?" She spat 'brave' at the Gryffindor third year. "Trash. Oh but don't let me scare you away. No indeed, we can't have that at all, where are my manners, Ashakiran Gandhi not really finding it wonderful to meet you and certainly not at your service. You?"

The girl turned around and gave her a smug smile. Ezzie could tell she had made a mistake in coming here, but she wasn't going to back down just because some Slytherin had teased her. In fact, now she really wanted t stay, she wanted to see how long this girl could keep up her "I'm better than you" act.
"Hello,"she drawled, "absolutely spiffing to be meeting you, do sit down."
"How nice to meet you," Ezzie said with an obviously forced smile. She couldn't wait to show this piece of work what she was dealing with.
"You're right, I would like a seat." Ezzie said as she sat down across from the girl.
"Although I must say, if you consider a train compartment your 'lair' then I daresay it needs some renovations." Ezzie gave the girl another fake smile.
"Or are you scared," the girl's voice became soft and all the more frightening, "are we scared of the big bad Slytherin? Aren't you supposed to be brave?" She spat 'brave', probably hoping it would make Ezzie angry. It worked.
"I can't really see why I should be afraid with the likes of you," Ezzie spat. "all you do is strut around the place like you own it, trying but failing to intimidate anyone who's different." Ezzie grinned. "Yup, I don't see why I should be afraid at all!" She picked Nena up and started to scratch behind her ears. She always loved that.
"Trash. Oh but don't let me scare you away. No indeed, we can't have that at all, where are my manners, Ashakiran Gandhi not really finding it wonderful to meet you and certainly not at your service. You?" Ezzie couldn't believe the quick change of attitude, but she was willing to adjust.
"My name is Esmeralda Mendez." She said. "And I suppose you'll want me to bow down to your so called 'greatness' now, correct?" Ezzie glared at the girl. "Because in your opinion, muggleborns are filth because they couldn't have mommy and daddy zap them a pony when they were little." Ezzie placed Nena down on the seat next to her.
"Well I'm not going to have it. I'm going to sit here with my muggle made pad of paper and my muggle made pencil and write while you stare at yourself in the mirror." Ezzie removed the equipment from her bag and started to work on her songs. Ezzie made sure to write in Spanish so little miss princess couldn't understand what she was writing. There was nothing really she wanted to hide, but she hoped it would get the girl frustrated that she couldn't understand.

Ash nearly rolled her eyes when Little Miss Lovely said if it was her "lair" it would need renovations, but stopped before she started knowing it would give the other girl a certain amount of satisfaction. She smiled instead, it was obviously fake though. "Oh so you do have a backbone, I was starting to wonder there, did you really believe me?"
Ha, if she kept up the game it might frustrate her. Now she was going on about why should she be afraid. "Oh well," Ash said carelessly,"you're a Gryffindor so you're only living up to your name."
Ash didn't say anything to the girl-Ezzie probably how ridiculous-getting angry.
Ash smirked when Mendez wrote in Spanish. "I can understand that you know but I won't bother reading it because it's probably written in an idiots form of Spanish which, surprise surprise, I don't speak. I would be able to understand it you know but it'll be rubbish so why bother."
She returned to looking out the window, completely ignoring the girl sitting in her compartment.

"Oh so you do have a backbone, I was starting to wonder there, did you really believe me?" The girl said with an extremely smug smile.
"Why yes, if you were a muggle and took science class when you were younger, you would know that every human being has a backbone." Ezzie continued on with her argument. "Oh, and by the way, what I said before was sarcasm." She said, talking to the girl as if she were five and didn't know better. "I figured even you would know that, but I guess I was wrong."
"Oh well," the girl said carelessly,"you're a Gryffindor so you're only living up to your name." Inside her head,Ezzie pictured herself placing a few well chosen curses and really showing this piece of work what she was dealing with, but she knew she couldn't. Instead, she said,
"Not only am I living up to the great name of Godric Gryffindor and all the great Gryffindor's before me, but I am also teaching you that just because I'm muggle born doesn't mean I'm anything less than you." Ezzie forced one last smile and went back to her lyrics.

Ash smiled at the girl like she was a five year old and said in her talking to idiot voice, "the word backbone does, surprisingly enough, have a double meaning and as for sarcasm," her voice lost it's you-are-an-idiot quality,"I didn't know you'd heard of it since in my experience two year old baboons generally haven't." Ha. That was a good one. The good thing of English was that so many words had double meanings so in verbal wars you could use it against your enemy. She wondered whether the hint she was a baboon would make the other angry or not. She was better at holding her temper in then Ash would have expected which meant that it might go on for a while. Ash, of course, fully believed she could stop her temper, it had never really presented a problem.
Ash said nothing to the Gryffindor girl's latest words. Going back to her lyrics? Well, that was fine with Ash. She had no problem whatsoever of the girl shutting up.

((this is ezzie by the way))
"the word backbone does, surprisingly enough, have a double meaning and as for sarcasm," her voice lost it's you-are-an-idiot quality,"I didn't know you'd heard of it since in my experience two year old baboons generally haven't."
"Hmm" Ezzie said. "A baboon? Now that really hurt my feelings!" Ezzie said, in obvious sarcasm with a comical pout. "I've got to say though, I'd rather be a baboon than a self centered, concieted, ugly, sickening, roach!" Ezzie spat, her voice rising just slightly. She was rather annoyed at the girl for her horrible excuse for an argument, but she wasn't getting to her yet. She had a surprisingly controlled temper for a Gryffindor. There was only one specific subject that really got Ezzie going, and she was positive this horrid looking creature had no idea what it was. She hadn't told a soul about her personal life, and she wasn't planning on telling her.
"And by the way, I suggest you keep your nose in your own pathetic life, before someone with far less patience than myself breaks it for you." She said. She honestly believed someone would give her what was coming to her one day. Not Ezzie though. She knew better than to pick fights with pathetic Slytherins who certainly weren't worth the trouble. She didn't want a week long detention next year just because some stupid girl had called her a baboon. That was for sure.

"A sickening roach?" Ash said amusedly, "anyway as you do not wish to speak I might as well leave might as well leave shall I?"
((Sorry it's almost nothing but I have a severe lack of imagination so SORRY again (that wasn't sarcastic). Oh also do you want to finish this up soon since it seems to be winding down?))

"A sickening roach?" the annoying girl said amusedly, "anyway as you do not wish to speak I might as well leave might as well leave shall I?" Ezzie had just about enough of this girl's sassy talk. She wasn't going to take it anymore. The girl had pushed just about every button in her body and was so close to making Ezzie loose it. She wasn't going to let this girl make a fool out of her. "Oh, well there's no need, really. I'll just leave your stupid "lair" now, and leave you be! God forbid a mudblood gets anywhere near such a higher form of life, right? It's a real crime for someone to go to a magic school or posess magic powers if their parents couldn't do it too, right? Well you know what? I think you're the filth! YOU'RE THE MUDBLOOD!" Ezzie screamed, as she picked up her cat stomped out of the room, slamming the compartment door behind her. People were staring, but she didn't mind much. Her trunk was still in there, but she didn't care. She dared that horrid creature to touch her stuff. If she thought Ezzie was mad before, then she had no idea how horrible Ezzie's wrath could really be. ((you're right, I think this is going to be Ezzie's last reply. But if you don't mind, would you like to set up another post with Ezzie and Ash? She has too many friends, she needs a long standing rival. ))

((Yep, if you don't mind I won't reply to this since I don't have much time, but can we leave it 'til I get home? That'll only be 4 days and I don't think I could manage it before then. Also I think you could be friends with my other character Xia. Ash hates Xia (Xia Aeo Serpentine H2 a hufflepuff second year) that's a long story but it's in both of their bios if you're interested. Anyway, they'd have something to talk about! )) ((back! Anyway, the other post is off isn't it? For cause of the showdown plot?)) Ash did nothing but continue her reverie. Then she stopped it thinking of something. The letter. ((Nice and mysterious for anyone else though Ezzie knows))
