The Quidditch World Cup was finally here! Due to his physical ability Quidditch had been the only thing that Pyro was exceptional good at in the wiazrding world. Having joined the house team only during his 3rd year and being a starter proofed how good he was at the sport. Due to this skill he had grown to love the sport and pursued it immensely. Pyro seriously thought about becoming a professional Quidditch player once he graduated from Hogwarts. But that wasn’t going to happen for a few more years. He had plenty of time to think it over and make a decision. Thankfully the Blackfires weren’t a disgraced or unknown family. They were quite well known and quite wealthy and had easily scored first class tickets to the World Cup. They had even reserved their own field in which to camp in during the Cup. Although what the Blackfires had stayed in it couldn’t legally be called “Camping.” The “tent” had been a large two-story brick house.
The Blackfires had been at the site many days before the start of the World Cup. That being so they had had the pleasure of watching most of the other families arrive and set up their tents in the field below theirs. Pyro’s excitement had been growing to a near boiling point these last few days. Not only did the Blackfires have their own box, but Alex had won a pair of tickets to a special box. Pyro couldn’t have loved her more than the day she told him the news. He would have the world’s two greatest things, a private box with Alex, and an awesome view of the game. The time had finally come, the game was about to start in a few hours and the fans were already stampeding into the stadium. Pyro sighed as he looked at the large mass of people. “Come on.” He said and grabbed Alex’s arm and walked through the crowd. Finally he found the VIP access, but of course, that line was also packed.
They stood in line for what seemed like an eternity with various merchants and vendors moving up and down the line trying to sell their wares. When they reached the gate Pyro had bought himself a pair of omniculars, a German flag, the entire German Quidditch team figurines dancing upon his shoulder, and a cap on his head that continuously blinked “Germany.” Pyro frowned up at the hat and than looked to Alex. “I don’t see why I had to get this. Makes me look stupid.” With that they showed the guard their tickets, after some quick directions they were in and making their way through the crowd to the box. They found it easily and after showing their pass to another guard stepped inside the box. “Wow!!!” Pyro said in excitement as he leapt foreword and leaned out of the box and viewed the awesome scene. He spun on Alex, having rarely ever shown this much excitement for a single event. “Isn’t this just awesome?”

Alexandra wasn't one to jump or squeal, but the moment she saw the stadium, the camping grounds, even the ticket booth, she had been drowned in the excitement. She had never remembered squealing until that very moment. It was almost like Pyro's excitement was rubbing off on her, because every time he flashed that childlike smile, she was filled with the same delight. The Blackfires' had gotten their tent set up days before anyone else. Their two story "tent" was set up on a hill over looking the camp site. Alexandra was forever being awed by the Blackfires'. Their house, their family, even the way they dress. She was always amazed.
The day had finally come! Pyro's excitement had registered to her brain and made her ten times more excited than she was before! When Pyro grabbed her arm, his smile huge, and told her it was time to go, Alexandra squealed... again. She blushed, but thank God Pyro didn't see. He was too busy leading her into the stadium. The line was quite long, but Alexandra was too excited. She grabbed Pyro's hand and jumped on the balls of her feet. She never acted this way before and it surprised her. Pyro always seemed to bring these things out in her.
They finally got into the stadium, stopping to buy souvenirs and a few omniculars. Alexandra giggled as Pyro placed a hat which blinked "Germany". His frown made her giggle even more and when he commented on it to her, his eyes looking into hers, she about died of laughter. After her giggle-fit, they showed their VIP tickets and found her own privet box. She was rather confused when she won the tickets. She didn't really enjoy Quidditch all that much, but having her own box seemed pretty big, so she kept the tickets. When she told Pyro, oh wow. He about kissed her. She was glad it made him happy. They found the box and Alexandra grinned, watching as Pyro's excitement drove him to the edge of their box and looked down at the field. His eyes alight with happiness and his smile larger than she had ever seen. He suddenly spun around, looking at her with that light in his eyes and asked how awesome it was.
Alexandra giggled again and smiled larger. She was happy that he was so excited. She nodded vigorously and joined him at the side of the box, looking down at the field. It was amazing.

Pyro grinned and hung himself out of the edge of the box again. He hung out so far this time that his toes barely touched the ground. “Wow, this box is amazing. I mean we can see the field perfectly and we don’t even have to crane our necks or move about at all.” He looked straight down at the seats that were filling up below him. “Suckers.” He said to himself as he looked down at these people. They would constantly have to deal with the crowded seats and having to look over others heads. Pulling out his omniculars he placed them over his eyes and looked at the crowd. Zooming in and out and even rewinding and than watching a slow mo of what he had just seen. These things could do anything!
Pyro leaned back and got fully back into the booth. He spun on Alex and grabbed her and twirled her around. “Not only did I get the prettiest girl in Hogwarts. I got the most advantageous one to!” Pyro dipped her, easily holding her just a few inches above the ground and than set her up straight and twirled her once again. Pyro realized that he still had the figures of the German Quidditch team sitting atop his shoulders. He set them down on the ground where they began to zoom around on their brooms as if practicing for the big game. Just than a siren sounded and both teams exited their respective locker rooms and began to do a warm up practice. Pyro gave a quick cheer before sitting down in a chair and pulling Alex down into the seat next to him. Pyro took her hand. “What could be better than this? Watching my favorite sport with my favorite girl.”

Alexandra's smile was large, but not quite as big as Pyro's. He started leaning over the edge of the box again, only he went so far over that it looked like he might fall. Alexandra's smile fell a bit and she almost reached out to pull him back in, but he started commenting on the seats below them. She moved closer to him, that in case he fell she could at least, maybe catch him in time. Her smile returned to it's excited disposition as she gazed down at the many people in their regular seats. The box did have a really nice view. She had no idea that when she won the seats, that they would be this good. Her smile got bigger as she thought more about it. Pyro pulled out his omnoculars and looked around. She smiled and looked down at the crowd again.
Suddenly, Pyro leaned back into the box and turned to her. He grabbed her and spun her around. Alexandra tensed with surprise and then laughed as he dipped her, saying that she was the prettiest girl in Hogwarts. She blushed and laughed again as he pulled her back up and twirled her again. This time she let her head fall back and giggled. Her blush was still bright as she turned back to him. The bell sounded for the start of the game and, after a quick cheer, Pyro sat down, pulling her with him.
Practically falling into the seat next to him, she laughed again. He took hold of her hand and turned to her. His eyes were alive and he asked what could be better than being here with her. She blushed again and smiled.
"I don't know of anything better than going to my first real Quidditch game with the most wonderful guy in the whole world!" Her excitement got the better of her. She laughed again, throwing her arms around his shoulders and kissing him. Her eyes snapped open and she leaned back, her face bright red.

The sound in the stadium was tremendous. The volume only increased when the players stepped out onto the field and began their warm up exercises. Pyro’s figurines sat complacently in the corner and continued their own warm up routine. He turned to face Alex and smiled at their exchange. Just than she did something that Pyro never would have expected from her. First she laughed, something she didn’t do to often, and than she wrapped him up and kissed him. The kiss was a short one for Alex broke it and leaned back quickly. Pyro had been more surprised than anything and hadn’t been able to do much. He looked at Alex as she began to grow red. A smile slowly crept onto his face and than he leaned into her and kissed her back.
This time the kiss was much longer. Pyro broke it and leaned back and took Alex’s hand. Just than a siren rang through the stadium and the players all moved into the center of the field as the referee took her position. The game was about to begin. Pyro winked at Alex and turned toward the field. His omnioculars lay across his lap, ready to be used when the game blew into full swing.

The blush on her cheeks was as red as a cherry. She bit her lip and wanted to die, but to her surprise, Pyro just leaned in a kissed her back. It was much longer than her little peck, and when he pulled away her blush was much redder, but she was smiling. He smiled back at her and she smiled bigger. He took her hand as the bell rang for the official start of the Quidditch game. Alexandra's excitement went up again. He winked at her and she smiled bigger, if that was possible.
She sat up more in her seat, looking down at the Quidditch players. The referee blew the whistle and the Quidditch balls flew into the air. Toretto, the German captain, caught the Quaffle first and Alexandra cheered along with the rest of the German fans. She grabbed the other omniocular and peered through it, her smile radiant as the game progressed. Spainard Beater, Ramos, hit a bludger, heading straight for Toretto. Before it even got close, Rosalyn Montoya stole the Quaffle. The German section booed again. There was hope again as German chaser, Bleichner, tried to steal the Quaffle, but Montoya held strong and continued down the pitch. Montoya tried to pass to Morandos, but Toretto intercepted the pass, avoiding the bludger at the same time. Again, the German fans cheered. Alexandra cheered as well. Suddenly, Spain got the Quaffle. The Spanish fans cheered and Germany's fans booed. Spain kept the ball for a while... Germany seeming not to be able to get hold of the Quaffle. There was even a pass, but Germany's chaser, Bleichner couldn't intercept. Alexandra shook her head.
Come on Germany! she thought as she peered through the omnoculars.
