Task Two
Screaming Scarecrow

• Each group will stumble upon a large room. This room will have various cabinets, and doors that lead to another room. In the center of this room are a list and a rope.
• Tie the rope around the table of the leg while one member of the group reads the list aloud.
• The objective of this task is to find all the items on the list and construct a scarecrow.
• The items are placed throughout the rooms you are to explore. Keep the rope at all times, so you can find your way back to the main room.
• Once you have constructed the scarecrow, you must cast a spell to make it come alive – it will then lead you to the path once more.
• The spell is hidden within the list, you must find the hidden letters.
• Once the scarecrow is alive, if you have constructed it correctly it will lead you to the right place – but if you haven’t, it will wander off aimlessly. You’ll have to start all over.
• If any member of your group does not post soon enough (within the week that is it put up), your group will be placed into another part of the maze and have to find their way out.
• Instead of who finishes first, this contest will be measured in how long it takes each group to complete the WHOLE thing. Days will be considered minutes, and the least minutes you have – the better your chances of winning.
• A week is given for this task. You must start your thread within this week or else you can not participate. If you do not finish before the week is up and the next task is revealed, you MUST finish this task before going on to the next. Once you have finished, you may begin the next task IF AND ONLY IF the window for starting it is STILL open. If it is not, you will not be allowed to post, and someone will enter your current task thread and post the room dissolving and your group being placed somewhere in the maze.
