It was going to be chilly in the dungeons, Sapphire reminded herself as she changed out of her uniform and rummaged around for something warm to wear. Fashion didn't matter too much tonight anyway - it was going to be dark most of the time no doubt so no one would be able to see properly. She soon settled on a pair of brown corduroy trousers and a cream cashmere jumper. Having run a brush through her hair she was ready - she wasn't about to put it up in any fancy hair dos. She really doubted she would get scared enough for it to stand up on end, and a ponytail would only encourage someone - or something, to get in the spirit of the occasion - to tug at her hair, which she wasn't too eager to have happen. Sapphire wasn't too sure what to expect with this Fright Fest, or whether a change from the normal Halloween Ball was a good thing. She didn't know yet whether she liked being scared, but she was soon to find out.
"Simone, c'mon, let's go," she called to her dormmate as she left the Common Room and started winding her way down from the Ravenclaw Tower. She fell into step next to the other Ravenclaw as they arrived at the dungeons and entered to listen to a newly-awakened Dumbledore give them the rules and predictably implore them to enjoy themselves. They couldn't get started just yet, though. They had to find both Meyghan and Jamison first. Luckily Sapphire knew what Jamison looked like since he was in her year, even though she didn't know him very well. She put on a blue halo in the meantime and looked around the brightly lit room for any sign of the other Ravenclaws.
((I put Simone in just 'cos I couldn't think of anything else to put, I have to admit. Simone, if you want me to change I will; otherwise then everyone just turn up in whatever order's convenient since we need to get going!))

“Here wear these.” A voice said behind Jamison. He turned his head and smiled at his baby sister, Wendi. It took Jamison a moment to actually realize what Wendi had done. “Wendi, no this is the Ravenclaw Common Room.” He told her. “I know, I know.” She started. “But, I needed to give you this.” She said holding up the blue halo. “Wendi.” He said in a strict tone. “Fine, fine.” Wendi said turning as she left the Ravenclaw Common Room. Jamison followed her out. “How did you get in anyway?” He asked quizzically. “Followed in a seventh year.” She said sighing. Jamison looked at her. “I’m sorry , okay.” She said in a semi snappy tone. “Ok.” Jamison said calmly. “Here.” Wendi said handing him the halo. Jamison raised an eyebrow while smiling. “You want me to wear a girly halo when I could just wear blue horns. Wendi smiled and nodded. “Yes.” She said laughing. “Fine, but just because I love you.” He said laughing. “So, why aren’t you going too?” He asked. Wendi sighed. “Couldn’t find a group in time, no biggy. I’ll see you at the party after.” She said nicely. Jamison nodded. “Well, good luck.” Wendi said finally. “Thanks.” He said calmly. “Wait, have you seen Meyghan? I was planning on walking her down there.” He said smiling. Wendi rolled her eyes playfully. “Oh, jeez.” She started. “And no.” She laughed. “Jamison smiled. “Well, I’m going to go look down there for her.” He said not knowing where she was. “Ok, I’ll go check the Ravenclaw Girl’s dorms. Wendi turned to enter the Common Room. “Wendi..” He started. “Got, ya.” Wendi said giggling as she ran off. “Sisters..” Jamison muttered playfully.
Jamison walked down with his blue halo that Wendi had given. He looked stupid, but Jamison tried to forget about it. He smiled calmly looking around for Meyghan, but Jamison didn’t see her. He sighed. She was probably just running late or maybe Jamison was early. Oh, well. He couldn’t tell which one it was for the moment. Dumbledore went threw all the rules and then Jamison went about to find his group. He could be with Meyghan, Simone, and Sapphire. Jamison and the three girls were all sixth year Ravens and they would all make a fine group. Jamison found Sapphire and Simone first. Jamison didn’t know either of the girls too well, but they were in the same house and year. Jamison knew they would all get along fine. He walked up to the girls. “Hey Sapphire, Simone. Have you guys seen Meyghan?” He asked nicely.

Meyghan was running a few minutes late, she knew she had to pick up the pace, she had to stop digging through her stuff and find the right outfit, she had bought a muggle faerie costume, and there was nothing wrong with it, it was a simple black tunic and detachable wings, with black and blue stripped stockings . Meyghan grew frustrated as she tried changing her mind several times. She wanted to wear the costume, minus the wings, and the blue halo that had been laid on her bed for her. Not sure who laid this here, but I'm taking it that I'm supposed to wear it. She thought to herself as she quickly slid on the blue and black tights under her tunic. She had decided to wear the costume minus the wings after all. Looking at herself in the full length mirror next to her bed, she decided on a couple of light blue streaks in her hair. A simple spell that she had learned quickly took care of that, pulling the back of her hair into a half ponytail, she added the blue halo. She grabbed her newest pair of black boots, which had a thin two and a half inch heel and came just mid calf on her slender legs from her wardrobe. Sliding them on quickly, she made sure that she had anything she might need, grabbed a black robe in case the dungeons were chilly and headed down to the common room to look for Jamison, and the others.
Looking around for the others in the common room, she guessed that they had already left for the dungeons. She made her way down to the dungeons, not at all worried about the things that may lay ahead of them but about finding her group in time, for she knew she was running late. She arrived in the dungeons just as Professor Dumbledore finished giving the instructions for the night. Why must I always be running so late that I miss everything. She asked herself. She knew that at the moment there was nothing that could be done about it, as long as she didn't run late for her father's wedding everything would work out fine. Meyghan spotted the others and ran over to them. "Hi, I'm here.Sorry I'm late. You know me, always late." She said jokingly as she smiled at Jamison.

((No problem Sapp. Thanks for giving me an in, in fact, I am rather low on inspiration right now.))
Simone sat on her bed flicking the front cover of her book open and shut about an hour before the Fright Fest was set to begin. She was dressed and ready and just waiting to go now. Simone had on a pair of black trainers, blue jeans, and a black blouse; her hair was pulled up into it's usual ponytail. Simone really hadn't put any effort into dressing up this year other than to wear muggle clothes for the sake of comfort, well with a robe over top for heat. Realising it's pointless to sit about in the room doing nothing Simone decided to go down in the common room and do nothing where at least she would be in contact with other bored people.
The Ravenclaw common room was a tad better because at least the chatter of the others filled up the space and therefore the time. Simone sat down in one of the plush chairs near a group of fifth year girls and talked with them for awhile. The fire let out a loud pop just before Simone heard her fellow sixth year Sapphire call to her. Looking at a clock on the mantelpiece Simone was shocked to see it actually was time to get down to the dungeons and start the Halloween fun.
First thing Simone did when they got there was don a pair of blue devil horns and grin maliciously at Sapphire. Before she could say anything they were joined by Jamison and as if on que Meyghan came running up apologizing for her lateness. "No worries, we just got here ourselves. Wonder what we are expected to do now though..." Simone said to the three of them.
