Sadie continued to look out the window, realizing how much she was going to miss Hogwarts through the summer, and wouldn’t be able to wait the whole time to return to the school. Sadie felt so much happier when she was at school than anywhere else in the world that she had ever been. It was beginning to feel more like a home to her than anywhere. She hadn’t made any headway in the search for family, and had really given up on the thoughts of it. Maybe she would get lucky one day, and find a cousin or uncle or something, but she doubted it would happen.
Deciding to try to head off to the Great Hall, Sadie slid ever so carefully out of the window, not thinking to look around and make sure she wasn’t getting in anyone’s way. As she slid she felt her bag hit something that she apparently hadn’t noticed. Looking around, she realized that she had caused her bag to knock someone’s books out of their hands. “I’m so deeply sorry.” Sadie said in her most apologetic voice. She sincerely hadn’t meant to knock the books out of the girl’s hands. “Let me help you. I’m Sadie by the way.” She felt there was some need to introduce herself although she wasn’t sure why.
((Sorry so short.))

Alone we're not half bad. But we could be a whole lot better. Anybody knows us, knows we're good together. Just a little sliver of sunlight in stormy weather. Like a tear in my beer, we're good together. Good together. You're a pesky little fly. I'm the pink plastic swatter. Marcy, for once, did not have her WWW with her. But she did have a song stuck in her head. Over and over it played, like a broken record. She had thoughts of breaking said broken record, but then she remembered - oh yeah, it's already broken. She sighed and propped her chin on her hands, trying to keep her eyes open in class. It wasn't that the class was boring, but Marcy hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. Finally, class was dismissed and Marcy bolted out of the classroom.
To passer bys she was just a blur of clothing. Marcy was in her uniform, so she looked a bit of the normal today. Except for her hair, which was up in two knots with bright yellow sheer ribbons tied around them. She was just so happy to get out of class, she didn't realize where she was going. Marcy rarely ever knew exactly where she was going. Her mind would just wander and she would run. Running was fun. She was soon hit with a bag, and her books went flying everywhere. Marcy blinked and took a step back. She shook her head and then knelt down to pick up her books, as the girl started to help. She introduced herself as Sadie after she apologized.
Marcy shook her head and stood up, a smile on her face; "No worries, I knock into people all the time. I think I even sent one of their books flying down the hall. I'm not sure if they ever found it..." She trailed off, trying to think if they had or not. Marcy shrugged and turned back to Sadie, "I'm Marcy Fairfield." She introduced herself, that smile still on her face.

Sadie smiled and gave a sigh of relief, she hadn't even taken time to see what type of uniform the girl had been wearing before launching her apology. She was just instantly sure that the girl was yet another Slytherin prepared as usual to berate her, and remind her that she was nothing more than a lowly half-blood. Sadie was thrilled when she saw that the girl was wearing a Gryffindor uniform. The girl had introduced herself as Marcy.
Sadie helped to finish gathering the girl's books. "You seem happy to be getting out of class, mind if I ask which one you are coming from?" Sadie hoped that the girl didn't think she was nosy, Sadie was just really trying to make polite conversation in hopes of making a new friend. Sadie still hadn't mastered the complexities of making a new friend, although making her other friends had come fairly easy. It wasn't easy for her to just start a conversation with someone like she was trying to do.

Marcy laughed lightly and situated her books a bit better in her arms, "Does it matter which class, they're all pretty boring. But I was coming from Divination. The fumes from the class seem to lull me to sleep faster than any other class does." Marcy narrowed her eyes a moment and then added, "I think she puts something in the air to make us sleepy - that way she can complain about us falling asleep. I'll have to look into that." Marcy probably had a very active imagination when it came to teachers and such, but it made class that much more interesting. Just because she didn't like class, didn't mean however, that she wasn't a good student. In fact, she was very studious and she always got her homework in on time. She just didn't see why they had to have classes every day.
She shook her head and smiled, trying to get the thoughts out of her head. "You don't normally find someone sitting in the window, and then knocking books out of peoples hands. Do you do it often?" Marcy grinned and fidgeted with the books again. They weren't heavy, and there weren't many of them - but Marcy didn't like holding them. Her book bag had broken though, so she had taken to carrying the books she needed in her arms.
