Kiana twirled along the corridor, occasionally pulling someone into her dance and letting them go after a few minutes. Life was good. She started to whistle as she twirled, eventually stopping and leaning against the wall to catch her breath. Kia started to laugh, taking out a mirror to see her hair. Once organised and neat, her blonde hair was now clinging to her face in little clumps. She took a brush out of her bag and combed it, satisfied with the way it fell around her face, framing the curves and contours of her face. Kia put the brush away and slung her bag back over her shoulder, starting to walk away.
A large group of students crashed into her, splitting her bag open and spilling the contents over the floor. She sighed and waved their efforts at helping away, picking herself off the floor and looking over herself for injuries. A sigh of relief escaped at being uninjured, she started to walk over to the book closest to her but collapsed on to the floor. Kia hissed in pain, gingerly poking her ankle and wincing. She searched her pockets for something to bandage her ankle with, pullng out a strip of cloth. She had no idea why it was in her pocket but started to wind it around her ankle, thankful that she rarely emptied her pockets.
She attempted to stand up, gripping the wall for support and limped over to her bag. Kia sighed and started to collect her books, checking through them once she had picked up everything she could see. Sketch book, pencils, quills, textbooks. She stopped and dropped to the floor, hands skimming over the floor in panic. Kia rocked back on her heels resignedly, knowing that she would never find her bracelet. A scowl marred her face, her younger sister had bought her that bracelet and Kia would die before losing it. She started to search again, hands sweeping the floor in arcs. She knocked into someone and twisted round to see who it was. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you."
