There was nothing to be done about it. Sometimes you just needed to do something. Do what though Millicent was unsure. She stalked up and down her room flicking her wand at this and that causing them to lift a few centimetres then fall back down with small thunks. Well hanging around an empty bedroom certainly wasn’t going to help, was it? Tucking her wand into a pocket in her sleeve Millicent left out into the common room, which was beyond packed – students everywhere pouring over textbooks and scrolls or just sitting in small circles talking. Annoying little brats – all of them younger than her and nobody she knew in sight. It was time to do the unthinkable – go out in the main school where she may have to b in close proximity to mudblood brats – worse than pureblood kids.
Back into the seventh year girl’s dorm Millicent went to collect her book bag. Everything she would need for her homework was presumably in there considering she had all she needed for classes that day. The Entrance Hall was virtually deserted – a good sign meaning most the brats were in their own common room and well out of her way. Granted they shouldn’t be in this castle at all but until the Dark Lord takes over banished to their common rooms was the best she could hope for when it came to those unworthy of studying magic.
Millicent walked up the steps to the second floor where she turned into he left hand corridor and found an empty classroom that looked so abandoned she doubted it was ever used for classes. Of course the house elves kept it dust free and all but there was something about the uniformity to the desk positioning and lack of chalk dust that told her it was not used daily.
After spreading all her books out on the front teacher’s desk Millicent go up and paced the room a few moments. Pacing would, of course, not be any more useful in here than it had been in the room though so Millie sat down again and tried to concentrate on her homework.
