Dana stopped before the grand doors leading inside Hogwarts and jumped on spot a couple of times as well as stomping her feet for a moment to get rid of excessive snow on her boots. Sure, the practice she had had at fencing today had been long and more difficult than Dana was used to because Gareth had fenced with her himself. It realyl made Dana admire the older man as to how he was able to fence so well even with one of his leges cut of so he alwyas had to relie on his cane. Then again – hard at practice, easy at war like the saying went. Not that Dana was planning on going to war, especially not so with a sword... but maybe competing one day might be something to think about if she continued to practice properly. But fencing had just felt so right to Dana from the minute she laid eyes on the sword. Or rather from the moment she had picked one up.
Pulling the heavy doors open with little trouble as her boots were slippery and stepped. Peeking around curiously Dana let out a breath she hadn’t known she was holding at no sight of Filch. She most certainly didn’t want to face him now, when her legs were rather cold. Maybe walking through snow from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts in only a pair of thin silk pants had been a bit silly idea, but it had sounded great when Dana had set off from fencing lesson. So now Dana half-jogged through the hallways pulling her cloak off as she moved having already stuffed her hat and gloves into her pockets. Maybe she could get into the kitchens and melt there with a cup of hot chocolate before Filch caught her? Dana grinned and slipped on the floor almost ending up on her back on the floor just before the door to the kitchens. Yelping loudly Dana windmilled her arms in the air for a few moments and managed to end up with just falling on her behind onto the hard floor. Groaning quietly and rubbing her behind Dana climbed onto her feet and made a mental note to try and take things a bit slower as she tickled the pear and entered the kitchens.
„Could you perhaps take these to my dormitory?“ Dana asked with a slight smile from one of the house-elves as she handed the squeeky creature her cloak watching how the houseelf disappeared from sight to somewhere behind a door. „Cappuccino please. And apple pie,“ Dana replied to an other house-elf in reply to the question what she would wish to have while dragging off the white male silk-blouse. Dana had taken to wearing a white male-cut silk-blouse and a tank-top under it, a very wide leather belt and black silk-pants to fencing practices. Dramatic – yes. But while Dana usually preferred to follow her head, she had a soft spot for such kind of flashy details from time to time. But as Gareth refused to fence with anything else than real sharp blades, then the blouse was shredded to the extent where no repairs. „This belongs to garbage most likely,“Dana told while handing the shirt over before making her way over to the seats int he kitchen, not caring if she looked funny right now with half-fancy pants, casual white tank-top and a thick scarf wrapped around her scarf. She just wanted to relax and melt a little before she could hopefully go and soak her sore muscles in a bath.
Dreaming of a bubble-bath already Dana wasn’t overly watchful where she was going though which ended up her stumbling on someone’s feet and this time actually ending flat on her back with a loud yelp. Closing her eyes Dana groaned lightly rubbing the back of her head as she decided that the best course of action might be to stay down for a moment Opening one eyes Dana glanced at the boy onto whose legs she had stumbled. He appeared a bit younger than she herself was and he most definitely wasn’t a Ravenclaw, that much Dana knew as she offered a weak grin to the boy: „I wasn’t really watching where I was going. Again. You don’t mind if I lay here for a few moments, do you? I'm just rather fond of this floor. Hard cover was supposed to be good for one's back after all.“
