Jasmine sat under the covers of her four poster bed finishing up on makeup work required to get done for that night. Her knees were pulled up to her stomach and her Advanced Potion-Making laid open on her lap. She had a lot of makeup homework to do for all her classes including homework that would be due later on in the week. Why did she have to break that one bone in her body that wouldn't heal right in either wizarding help or muggle. The wire that was placed inside her arm along the break was poking new the end of her skin barely. When she went off back to Hogwarts, the muggle doctors told her to not do any strenuous work, but they only thought she was heading back off to boarding school. After returning, she was appointed captain of the team by Dana. To top all of it off she had to do a pile of makeup work by the end of the year. All the new things in Jasmine's life had been making her quite stressed, so she asked Dana about returning to dancing lessons. Jasmine wasn't much of a dancer, but Dana had agreed to continue the lessons.
Leaning the back of her head against the headrest she closed her eyes to take a bit of a break from reading. She still had Transfiguration essay to finish, but that wasn't due until the end of the week. Rubbing her hazel eyes tiredly, Jasmine looked again around the room. There were still some bubbles floating around the dorm left by Luna who had kept twirling her wand. Jasmine really didn't mind the other sixth year at all. Expect for that one time when Luna had taken away all her red socks ranting about some odd creature eating them. Other than that, Luna was actually a pretty nice girl who could be a bit....weird sometimes but not afraid to be different. Also, she was the only one left in the dorm room. All the other sixth years must be in the common room or some other parts of the castle. Jasmine liked it when it was just her in the dorm room. There wasn't Luna ranting about the Quibbler and Dana about other things. Overall the dorm room could become quite noisy.
Glancing at the clock on the little bedside table she noticed that is was about time to leave to meet Dana. Setting a bookmark on the page she than placed it inside of her shoulder bag along with all classes’ textbooks. Pushing the covers off her swung her legs over the side of the bed stretching a bit. Jasmine was still in her Hogwarts uniform and hadn't changed since the last class of the day. Standing up from the bed she noticed Dusty sleeping on top of her brown trunk. His lion like tail swished back and forth in the air as he let out a little purr. Grabbing hold of a light blue flowing dress, she slowly started to change out of her uniform. Once the dress was slipped on, Jasmine sat back down on her bed to slip on a pair of black high heeled shoes. Jasmine rarely ever wore a dress or heels, only on special occasions. Pulling her hair into a pony tail, she let two strands from each side hand down. Once Jasmine was set, she pulled on a fleece white jacket and gave Dusty a pat before leaving the Ravenclaw common room.
Jasmine felt...odd and very out of place while walking down the corridors toward the classroom she was suppose to meet Dana in. Why did she wear this stupid dress? It wasn't like Dana told her that she had to wear a specific clothing style while dancing, but something made Jasmine wear something she really wouldn't. Sighing, she tucked the strand of hair behind her ear listening to the sound of the heels click against the floor. Coming across the room, Jasmine knocked on the door twice listening to make sure that no body was already in there. Maybe Madam Pince and Professor Flitwick came into this classroom to hide their love. Maybe that was just part of Jasmine's imagination. Hearing no noise, she opened the door leaving it slightly ajar for Dana taking a seat in an empty chair.
