Thomas finally started to get the feel of Hogwarts again all the twist and turns and getting used to ghost pulling pranks on you. Pictures that move and talk to you, it was like his first year here everything being new Pictures he missed. He always liked some pictures just because of the way they acted. He slowly walked down halls and down stairs. "I really should be getting some work down." He said as he started up another flight of stairs to the next corridor. After he made it up to the top he looked around. "But us Hufflepuffs aren’t known for there great grades.” He said laughing then stopping. "There going to put me in a crazy house if I don't stop." He said again. "...." After realizing he just talked to himself about not talking to himself.
He headed down the corridor humming a little tune as he did. He looked around and out the windows the sun just seemed to be setting or maybe this was another window trying to trick him. Well after looking out three others they seemed to all be right, the sun was setting. He kept walking down the corridor and started here other footstep. He thought he was just hearing foot steps. Knowing him it wasn't that impossible.
He kept walking going up another flight of stairs. "I guess you forget how big this place is when you’re away for so long." He said out loud giving up on not talking to himself. He finally decided to sit down right next to a window. There was no seat but Thomas could still do without one. He sat so he could look out the window it gave a nice view of the sun setting, that’s why he picked this spot. Just to watch the sun set. The footsteps he heard before seemed to return again and this time even louder. He really didn't care who it was, he wasn't moving from his nice sunset spot.

Elisabeth tossed her bookbag down on her bed, glad the day was almost done. The weekend was near, and she would welcome the break. She walked around the room for a moment, unsure of what to do with the time left in the day. Her thoughts wandered as she slowly ran her black brush through her hair. An idea struck her, and she placed the brush back on her bed. Grabbing her notebook and pen, she made her way through the commonroom and out into the hallway. She felt in the mood for a walk tonight.
Ah, it feels good to leave the work behind. She thought to herself as she wandered down the halls. Few people were still out; most having retired to their dorms after the long day. Elisabeth walked almost as if in a trace, her mind interested in things far more important than walking. She stopped for a moment to stare a picture. This was always her favorite. It reminded her of a picture her mother painted when she was little. It still hung in her room, just above her bed.
Not wanting to spoil a good walk with unhappy thoughts, Elisabeth moved and continued walking up the staircase and through the halls. Strips of golden light passed through the windows, and her shadow danced up the stairs behind her. The setting sun was beautiful, and captured Elisabeth's mind. She began to hum a song she had been working on as she continued to walk down the corridor. She almost tripped over a boy sitting on the floor, staring out the window. A smile quickly spread across her face when she recognized him. "Thomas!" Elisabeth exclaimed as she sat down next to him and gave him a welcoming hug.

Watching the sun was fun and all but it made him a little sleepy like count sheep or something but the footsteps were keeping him awake. They kept getting louder and louder, he looked over but still nothing. Who or whatever it was, it hadn't turned the corner yet if that's what it was planning to do. He turned back to the sun and it was still in the same spot. He started to think about all the people he knew here and missed talking to, he just didn't have anytime to find them in this huge school. Finally the footsteps turned the corner and Thomas had to do a double take. It was Elisabeth, as soon as he saw her, he smiled and was going to get but she decided to trip over him.
She sat down next to him and hugged him and he hugged her back. "Well it's nice to see you too." He said laughing then going back to smiling. "Well I can see I've been missed." He said smiling, oddly kind of glad people missed him. He would have rather not have left but he had to without even a word to anyway. "So how have you been Elisabeth?" He said looking at her hoping it was better then what has happened to him.

Elisabeth couldn't help but smile. She hadn't seen Thomas in so long, and she was overjoyed that he had finally come back. The instant she saw him, all her memories from before came flooding back. She was glad to see that he had missed her too. "You most certainly have. And I'm sure not just by me." She knew that her happiness would be contagious, and she loved to see him smile.
"So how have you been Elisabeth?" As Thomas looked back to the setting sun she thought she saw a shadow of grief pass over his face, and she couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. "I've been alright. Getting along. The months after you left were a little rough for me, but I guess I'm better now. I haven't had to leave yet though, so I'm willing to bet I've been loads better than you." Elisabeth sighed, and stared out the window into the sun. It looked like a painting, the colors blending perfectly together and creating a look of peace. She looked back at Thomas for a moment, but looked away as soon as she began to feel....fuzzy inside. Not again...not now. She thought. "I'm sorry, I'm being terrible. How are you? I mean, you left so suddenly I didn't get to say goodbye. Is everything okay now, and are you here to stay?"
