Dana was returning form a meeting with Madam Hooch where the last details of the upcoming game with Hufflepuff were settled when Dorian – her big eagle-owl hooted. Raising her arm Dana stopped and let the big bird land on her arm. Taking the purple envelope from Dorian’s beak Dana stroked the birds head lazily generously sharing the last pieces of her cookie with the strong bird before Dorian flew off again. Dana knew even without looking at name of the sender who the letter was from. Cassini ‘Eusebios’ Lenoir. And one of Dana’s numerous relatives. The 27 year old man had after numerous amusing mishaps – even if they did cost quite a lot from time to time - settled down into doing something he actually was half-way good at. He sang. He had started singing at France and over at that country he was starting to get semi-known. Even if he would most likely never become a world-famous popstar like he obviously dreamt herself to be already. Even if his songs were rather good. Calm and not very over the top melodies. Even if it was still shocking to see such calm and comforting songs being sang by Cassini. Even his performance name – Eusebios - was overdone. Running up the few steps Dana slipped into Hogwarts castle once again quick steps taking her further into the castle. Shrugging off her cloak Dana seated herself on a step on the main staircase before the Great Hall and threw her long cloak over the railing of the stair-case.
Looking at the purple envelope with amusement Dana raised it to her nose inhaling the scent of Jasmine with some amusement. Purple. Why on earth had he taken purple to be his signature colour and appearance? Cassini always wore purple blouses and shoes. Sometimes even purple pants. But the purple costumes in one piece where the ultimate top. Snickering at the thought Dana replied Ryan’s wave as the 5th year Ravenclaw boy passed her before sliding a nail under the edge of the envelope and opening the letter. Grinning lightly at ‘Eusebios’ voice that started singing one of his songs called “Cherry stems” (why on earth did he name his songs after classical music pieces?) as Dana started to read the letter.
He was giving out a single? Dana snickered before her eyebrows arched curiously. And he wanted a picture of her on the cover? Well, not exactly a picture of her face in large scale because the two different options had been described. Riding on a black stallion in night during a thunderstorm… the horse rearing with the girls - at the moment that would be Dana’s arms – thrown up ad if to take hold of the lighting bolt lighting up the sky. Effective most likely. But Dana couldn’t ride. The other option sounded exotic as well. A girl dancing on a flat rock wearing a short red top that bared her midriff and an ankle-length skirt with millions of small colours lighting it. Dana could see in in her mind already. Dancing on the rock barefoot with the skirt flying around the girls feet as the lake around the rock was covered with flickering flames. Now, becoming a model was most certainly not one of Dana’s priorities, but her face wouldn’t show that precisely anyway. It would barely be a simple image with the outlines of the figure. Dana let her head fall backwards as she closed her eyes placing the letter on the step next to her as she thought about the offer lazily, weighing the positive and negative sides of the deal in her head while stretching out her legs lazily.

Konnor woke early this morning, for she was excited to get on with they long day ahead. Konnor skipped merrily into the bathroom. She grabbed her tooth brush, and began brushing her teeth. While she was brushing her teeth she noticed something small and black go by the bathroom door. With a curious look on her face she walked out into the hall, looked down and saw Poopsie her kitten, walking around with her ears pointed straight up in the air. "Poops?" Konnor whispered. The little kitten turned around upon hearing her mothers mommy's voice, and ran over to her rubbing her soft fur on her leg. "Hey.." Konnor said trying not to swallow her tooth brush. She picked up her kitten and walked back to her room. She saw the door cracked. She must not have closed it good enough. She set her small baby on her bed, then walked back out to the bathroom.
Konnor rinsed the tooth paste from her mouth. Konnor hopped in the shower. When she finished drying off she rushed back to her room. She didn't want anyone to see her just wearing her towel. Konnor laughed and ran into the room. "Ahh!" She exclaimed upon seeing her kitten standing on the window sill looking out to the grounds. Konnor really needed to take her out to play. She walked over toward her dresser, she wanted to find the perfect thing to wear. Konnor didn't know what she was going to do today, but she wanted to do something out of her normal routine. Konnor always does does the same thing every weekend, go get breakfast, read, go to the grounds, study, etc.. Konnor looked through her drawers, and got her two white socks, and a couple other things. She bounced on over to the closet, and got her favorite gold belt, it was very sequined, but the pretty sequined not tacky. Konnor then got her her cutest jeans. She loved these jeans they fit well, and weren't skin tight or anything. They were very stylish. Konnor smiled, she was thinking about home. She missed her family so much, even though she had just got back from visiting them over the holidays. She reached further toward the back of her closet, and grabbed her cutest brown top, and her robe.
She skipped on over to where she had her mirror, and little table, and looked in her jewelry box. She got out her golden hoop earrings. She smiled at them, she had gotten them over the New Years. When she went shopping with Kady a muggle girl who lived across the street from them. She walked back over to where she had put the clothing she had picked out, and sat them there neatly placed by her outfit. Konnor then began to get herself prepared for the day. She walked back to her little table, and got her make up, and wand. She ran back put on her clothes, and earrings. She smiled she looked gorgeous. She never really took this long to get ready, and didn't know why she decided to today. She just figured every girl gets dressed up at least one day.. She had her hair down and hanging freely.
"Perfect!" Konnor said very pleased with the way her she looked. Konnor focused on what to do next. She got her make up, and began applied it. She started with some brown eye liner to her bottom eye-lid, then brown mascara, then to her top eye lid she applied brown, and gold mixed eye shadow. She grabbed her light pink lip gloss, and then she was done. She walked over to her closet, and got her gold flats. She was ready so she got her books together, and picked up her little kitten. She was going to take her around the castle today.
She headed down the stairs of her dorm, and into the common room, where she usually located her friends, she always liked to peek in, and see if they were in there. "Hey guys!" Konnor said merrily. She just wanted to stop in ad say hey so with hop skip and a jump she was heading back out to the halls of Hogwarts. "Ok, well I'm off then." Konnor said heading out the door. Konnor was hungry considering she hadn't had any breakfast yet, she decided to go by the great hall, and pick something up real quick. She arrived at the great hall, and walked in to her table setting down her stuff. He grabbed a piece of toast, and ate quickly. Wanted to get her day started. She walked out of the doors of the great room, and noticed a girl sitting on the staircase in front of the Great Hall. She started to walk continued to walk by, but then she gave into her curiosity. She pranced back over to the staircase and held out her hand saying "Hi, my name is Konnor!"

Dana was still thinking about the propositions. She was young now. With time looks would fade and would she be sorry then for missing out such an opportunity? It wasn’t anything bad but Dana would always have an interesting experience of such a memory inside her head. Which – depending on how you looked at it – could be both bad and good. While it would be interesting surely… did she really want to spend a day or two with Eusebios and his purple clothes and listen to his temper tantrums? Then again even that might be amusing. Dana grined and reopened the letter listening to the voice picking up the song again as Dana pondered. Well at least she tried to ponder. In reality she didn’t manage to do much other than just keep her eyes closed and listen to the song. At least up to the point where someone pranced up to her and greeted her a bit cheerily.
Dana opened her eyes raising her head again – as she let it fall backwards – and blinked at the girl. The first thing that caught Dana’s eyes were the golden belt and then the brown-gold make-up. Dana blinked again eyeing the make-up. Sure, it was professionally done – and the girl didn’t look too young to wear make-up either – but it was a bit surprising. This much make-up on a casual day? Well, maybe it wasn’t a casual day for her. Then again Dana only used so proper make up when she really had a big formal party to go to. Usually she merely used some mascara and a quick touch of modest lipstick. The girl had her hand reached out for her and blinking for the third time Dana shifted her body weight and raising her hand that had been supporting her from a step behind her shook the girls hand briefly. “Hi. I’m Dana,” Dana replied while eyeing the girl curiously.
Random people did approach her form time to time. Or younger students who wanted help with something. Bullying Slytherins - as Dana knew enough of them and was even friends with some - or homework or when it had been near Chrsitams Dana had helped 2 guys wrap presents. But this girl looked to be at the very least a 4th year, though Dana rather suspected that she was a 5th year. Not older, because Dana knew most 6th years by their faces at the very least. So what did she know of the girl? She was a 5th year, liked golden clothes and accessories so perhaps a Gryff? And she had just very randomly approached Dana. Flickign the letter closed and putting it away in the envelope again Dana eyed Konnor rather quizzically. “Can I help you with something?”

Konnor smiled. She didn't know if the girl would think she was a weirdo for just walking right up, and introducing herself. Konnor was a very outgoing person, and felt like just meeting someone knew. Well, actually she thought she had seen her before, but she hadn't had the chance to formally introduce herself, so why not now while she had the time. Konnor watched as the girl sat up, and somewhat examined her. Konnor felt a bit put out. "Oh man...." Konnor thought to herself. She just smiled politely to see if she would say something, anything. "Well, nice to meet you Dana!" Konnor said cheerfully. "Sorry for rushing up here, and introducing myself out of the blue and all." "Its just I like to introduce myself to people I haven't formally met yet."
"Oh, no I'm sorry.." "I just was feeling curious, I hadn't met you yet, so I figured whats the harm in it..." Konnor smiled sweetly. "You seemed like an interesting person to meet to." This was kind of awkward. Konnor had never experienced a reaction like this. Usually people would either scowl at her, or smile and she would strike up a conversation with them. They never once had looked at her with a curious stare. She always had introduced herself to anybody she felt like meeting, or getting her name out to. She didn't really know why she had been drawn to introduce herself to Dana. Maybe it was because she was older, and looked to be an interesting person.
(Sorry so short I didn't have much to write about..)

Dana blinked again as the girl sounded cheery about meeting her. Though smiling very politely and nodding Dana however didn’t return the notion that it was nice to meet the other girl. It was curious to meet her – sure. But pleasant meetings Dana reserved for her friends and as she had just met Konnor, she could hardly be her friend. “No worries about it. And we still actually haven’t met formally yet as we merely stated our first names. If you want us to officially meet, then I’m Dana… Dana Gayle Cynthia Coran. Ravenclaw 6th year as I obviously go to Hogwarts as well,” Dana replied slowly keeping her eyes on Konnor. Being social was one thing…. A lot of people were social in Hogwarts and Dana knew a lot of them. She liked talking to people and making friends as well. But this – coming up and greeting out of the blue – had happened for the first time during her years at Hogwarts. Dana merely blinked again having spoken mainly to give herself time to guess what the girl was on about.
“No harm done with you coming up,” Dana reassured the girl once again as she brought it up once more, “May I however inquire do you always introduce yourself this way? I can think of quite many people in Slytherin who would hex you for it, if they weren’t by a coincidence feeling generous enough to ignore you or merely throw a few cutting comments your way while you did it. Though I don’t really doubt Cleo would have nay problems hexing you at such an approach either. You don’t have to reply, if you don’t feel like it – I was merely curious.” Dana dind't even grimace at the thought. Cleo was smart, but she had enough arrogance in her to be fit for Slytherin. Sometimes Dana wondered if she had not been put into Slytherin just so she could spite her grand-parents some more. Dana blinked again feeling a bit odd. She looked curious enough for people to want to meet her? Was that a compliment or an insult? And if it was an insult, then was it really hidden or was it merely stated straight out? Or did she really look some special way…? Which in it's own way was a doubtful statement as well. “Interesting?” Dana asked with her eyebrows raising to an arch as she made a half-circular motion with one of her arms, “I’d offer a seat, but it’s a free country and public school, so you can sit on the stairs whenever and whereever really.”

Konnor smiled nicely watching as Dana nodded her head. Konnor looked around wondering if Dana sat here often. Konnor had never noticed anything about these stairs before. "Oh, thats a pretty name." Konnor smiled and tapped her foot humming her faveorite song in her head. Dana seemed very interesting, but Konnor could tell that she was one who is not so easy to warm up to. "Oh, I don't always introduce myself in thsi manor." Konnor repleid. "And I don't usually speak to many Slytherins." "Not that I have anything agaisnt them just it seems I barely ever come face to face with them." Konnor looked at Dana. "Oh, its fine I think I'd rather stand anyway." Konnor had a tendancy to fidget when she sat down. She had so much spare energy she needn't sit.
(Once more, way too short I don't have much inspiration with this post.)

((Well, as you can’t keep up with it and you really dind’t give me much to work on with your post, we can just end it. No offence at Dana’s snapping at Konnor, but she has enough Slytherin in herself to not tolerate despising comments about them, unless you have something to proof your statement that Slyths are mean at you.)) The girl was. Well, Dana wasn’t exactly sure what she was in her mind. Curious might be the most polite word she could use even. Or maybe hse just tended to leave weird first expressions. After all – how many people pranced over to you out of the blue and introduced themselves to you when they didn’t even a have a reason to do so. Dana would have understod it, if she had been in the girls way. Or if the girl would have told her that she might get into someone’s way who was descending the stair-case, even if there was plenty of room besides Dana. She would have even understood if the girl would have commented on the letter she had or asked about something that was served in the Great Hall, but this had just been so utterly random that Dana despite her usual calm demeanor didn’t really know how was she supposed to react now? Jump up and down exitedly and declear the girl her new best friend? And if she didn’t really introduce herself in that manor to people, then what made Dana that special that she got this sort of greeting? Dana blinked dumbly up at the girl and shook her head lightly, not really getting her at all. The girls next words rised a flare of irritation in her however. Hat on earth was wrong with most of the school? „You don’t have anything against them, yet you go out of your way to avoid Slytherins like the plague?“ Dana asked her voice getting a new cutting edge as she rose to her fet, the few steps she stood above the other girl making Dana tower over Konnor, as Dana leered down at her, „Oh, what do you know? A Slytherin isn’t a big bad monster you know and in a lot of ways I prefer their open hostility to the phony charade of friendliness you apparently put on. What, you were dared to come and talk to someone random while wearing that much make-up that it will make anyone with a sane mind wonder where are you going to be heading now? Really, shame you don’t have even the slightest bit of knowledge how to uphold yourself, while Slytherins can be the perfect designs of politeness.“ People like this annoyed Dana. They were still young so why cover themselves under numerous layers of make-up and therefore not enchance, but rahter hide their natural beauty? And then on top of it all, act like they were the queens of earth and school and look down on people. This girl wasn’t a Slytherin so naturally she followed the trend and didn’t associate with Slytherins. Had she ever even tried to see if the Slytherins were really as bad as some people tried to make them up to be? Such kind of comments without any proof to back themselves up always grated Dana’s nerves. Almost more than anything else could. Without a backwards galnce Dana stepped aorund the girl and smiled seeing a close friend, a sister almost walking down the hallway. „Mary!“ Dana called happily catching up with the younger girl and falling into step next to her already gaining her good mood back.
