Clothes were being thrown every which way in the Hufflepuff first year girls dorm. It seemed not an once of the floor wasn't covered in clothes and other things. Wendi was busy tossing them around and squiring around every which direction. "Tootsie!" Wendi called. But, not one found any back to her ears. Wendi just gave a sad sigh and decided to pick up the clothes. Her pygmy puff, Tootsie couldn't be found and Wendi hadn't seen her in hours. She should be back by now. Wendi though numerous times. Tootsie often left for the day, but always returned around meal time. But, this didn't seem the case this day and Wendi was worried. Tootsie was such a sweet girl and Wendi loved that little puff ball to death. Wendi plopped her clothes onto her bead shaking her head sadly. There wasn't anything left she could do to find her pet in the dorm. Ahhhh! Wendi thought to herself. She could still check the grounds. In all the sad excitement, Wendi had forgotten that. So, she grabbed her wand from her dresser, pulled her hair back into its normal bun, and hopped out of her dorm to find her beloved pet.
Wendi skipped down the steps. Her face was a pinkish color as usual even though she had only been running for a few seconds. "Hi!" She called nicely to her Huffie mates as she kept up the fast pace out of the common room. Wendi stopped the running as she reached the hall. She didn't want to run in to anyone especially Slytherins whom she knew would give her a very hard time for running into them. Wendi smiled at some as she briskly walked toward the stairs. Tootsie loved the first floor for some reason or another, so that was Wendi's best bet for finding her. Suddenly, Wendi stopped to catch her breath a bit. Even though she wasn't even running, Wendi could already tell how tired she was. She rushed her palms past her flushed face, took a few deep breaths, and walked on hoping to find Tootsie soon.
Wendi soon found the first floor. But, still no toots. She was now becoming kind of nervous for her pet, but didn't dare stop looking for her. Nope, Wendi had Toots for too long and she needed that little ball of fluff even though it may seem too childish. Suddenly, Wendi turned a corner. "Ahh!" She yelped hitting someone. "Oh, my, I'm so sorry!" She cried nicely. "I was just looking for my pygmy puff and got carried away." She explained nicely to the girls he had hit. "I'm Wendi." She said in a sorry tone waiting for a response.

Jessica woke up unusually early one morning to the feel of something furry on her stomach. Opening her eyes and closing them tightly again because of the bright sunshine Jessica realized there was something little and furry on her stomach quickly looking to see what it was Jessica giggled slightly as she saw it was only her black and white kitten Smokey. Gently picking her up Jessica set Smokey on her pillow and reluctantly got out of her nice cozy warm bed and into the crisp morning air.
Stepping onto the cold wooden floors Jessica tip-toed to her closet and randomly picked out a pair of light blue faded jeans next tip-toeing to her dresser Jessica pulled out a pink tank top and her favorite sweatshirt. It was black with the words GRYFFINDOR on it that changed from red to gold to yellow every few minutes and also had a lions head as the O. A friend had done it for her when she first arrived for the very first time she was a seventh year at the time and said that everyone deserved one that belonged to her house. Even though this was a little thing it made her feel better when she first came, it made her feel like she had a friend and in truth she did. Even though they hadn't seen accouter in a long time Jessica still wondered what she was doing with her life and if she was doing well how.
Walking into the bathroom Jessica slipped out of her warm cotton bunny pajamas and into her outfit she had picked out. Walking over to one of the very many sinks Jessica pulled out her tooth brush and started to brush her teeth. Looking in the mirror she saw how pretty her hair looked today, her hair was usually ok but today it looked as though she had just stepped out of a magazine and into the real world. Spitting out the tooth past Jessica grabbed her new gold and red brush her aunt had bought her for Christmas along with many other things. After she brushed all the knots out of her hair she thought to herself should I put in loose pink tale braids, a loose bun, a half ponytail or should I keep it down. After a little debating Jessica decided to put in a loose bun.
When she finally finished her hair Jessica pulled out her make up trying to decide on the color scheme she was going to have. Maybe I should go with the pink color scheme, no wait the blue; oh the green would be even better! Finally deciding to go with the silver eyeliner and pink eye shadow with pale pink lip-gloss Jessica quickly applied this as she heard her roommates waking up. She new that if she didn't hurry that they would start to get a little restless and say she took to long in the bathroom. She new she took a lot of time, but so did over half the other girls in this whole entire school. Looking one last time in the mirror before she head out of the bathroom Jessica saw that she should wear silver eye-liner. It seemed t make her eyes pop and look a little brighter green then usual.
Rolling her eyes slightly as she saw her little roomies pulling themselves out of bed she said morning sun shines and with that said walked out. Her little Silver Star dangling earrings moving slightly with every step as she headed into the common room. When she finally entered she saw how few people there were. There was usually always someone in the common room this was one of the very rare time she had seen it with less than five people.
Reluctantly walking into one of the very many halls of Hogworts Jessica decided that it would be fun to just walk around for a while looking for new places. She walked all the way to the first floor and took a sharp right when all of a sudden was hit dead on by someone. Looking to see what it her she saw a little Hufflepuff that kept saying she was sorry over and over again. Giggling slightly Jessica shook her head and said in a kind voice "Oh, no that is quite all right it actually was my own fault I should have been watching were I was going" Looking at the girl she could tell something was wrong she looked a little distressed "Are you ok" she asked in a kind voice. She could remember when she was a first year and how during the first week how hard it was, well actually it was hard during the whole first year and hoped she could make it a little easier for this little girl. Looking back at the girl Jessica patiently waited for a response.
(yay, this is my longest post I guess I was just inspired and wrote away ;D)

Wendi shrugged knowing it was really her own fault. She shouldn’t have been walking so brisk. However, Wendi did have a very good reason. She felt as though the army wouldn’t be enough to save her precious Pygmy Puff. Wendi loved that the pink fluff so much. She had gone through many years with Tootsie. Jamison had Hamlet from just a year or so after their parents died. That all seemed for foreign in Wendi’s mind as she was only a year old when it happened. Hamlet had been a gift from some neighbors to Jami sorry about the deaths. He was such a cute kitten back then. Wendi could barely remember him that way, but when she could, she thought about his precious blue eyes. She remembered chasing him around the large house. Of at least it seemed large to her at the time. Truth was, it was only a two story. Wendi would giggle as Hamlet ran across the floor happily. Since then, Hamlet had become a lot older. He was gray and his eyes were now a pale blue barely noticed. How Wendi missed the sprightly kitten Hamlet she once knew. But, that was all in the past and now Wendi needed to find Tootsie. Wendi had received her when she was eight. She had just received all A’s in muggle school and went to Diagon Alley when she spotted the little fluff ball. Her grandparents gave Wendi Tootsie for a special present after seeing her grades. There was a period of time when Wendi took Tootsie everywhere. However, that was also in the past and if Wendi wanted for memories, then she needed to find Toots. Wendi flung her small brown bangs out of the way looking at the older girl. Wendi now had a chance to actually look at her. She was defiantly older, perhaps a third year. Wendi knew she wasn’t a Hufflepuff as she knew everyone in her own house and she wore a Gryffindor sweater which defiantly gave away her house. Wendi tried to give a small smile to mask her being scared but she was afraid it might have come off wrong. “Well, I’ve been better.” She said with her high squeaky voice. Wendi wanted Tootsie so bad, but perhaps this girl knew of her whereabouts. “Umm, I can’t find my pink pygmy puff.” She said calmly looking at the older girl. “Her name is Tootsie and she is a pale shade of pink. Sorry if I was walking too fast, but I really want to find her.” She gave another small grin. It defiantly came off better than the first. Well, at least to Wendi. Where on earth could Tootsie be? The school was only so big and someone was bound to notice a pink fluff ball bouncing around. What if a Slytherin found her? Wendi was horrified by the thought. Would they hurt her? Were they even that cruel? Wendi really didn’t know, but she felt the worst in her mind.
“Umm, have you seen her?” Wendi bounced out of her trance and asked the girl calmly as could be. She was now very worried for her pet and fearing anything but her actually being found. Wendi tilted her head from the older girl looking down the halls. She didn’t see anything at all pink. Just students from different houses walking down the halls. They all seemed way more relaxed then Wendi and calm. Wendi wondered if any of them had seen tootsie. But, it seemed unlikable. After all, someone would say something if they found a pink puff ball wondering around, wouldn’t they? Wendi calmed her though looking at the girl with pleading eyes. She hoped so hard so knew something and waited for an answer.

Jessica continued looking at this girl a little concerned she didn't want a little girl from her own house being picked on or something. Jessica absentminded brushed her bangs to the side while she waited for an answer. Watching the girl closely she saw her expression change quickly and finally said she had lost her little pink pygmy puff. She herself absolutely adored pygmy puffs. She had been bought one when she was nine and loved it to death. It was a little blue thing that scampered across the ground eating every scrap on the floor it was almost like a broom or vacuum. She also loved it because of it's coor, one of her favorite colors was blue and she had a pet that color but she only gets to see him on the holidays.
The little guy lived with her aunt because her little black and white kitten Smokey tried to eat it all the time but it wasn't the pygmy puff they were worried about it was the kitten. Even though pygmy puffs are gentle with humans they can defend themselves if they have to. The little guys name was poppy because when she first bought him he always chewed on stuff and it kind of sounded like a popping noise. She new it was kind of a weird name but she really didn't care because she loved him to death. He was her only comfort when her parents died, yes, her aunt and family tried there best but every thing they said seemed to make her feel worse. She could cry her eyes out and poppy would never leave her side that was one of the things she loved about him.
Shaking her head slightly to clear her thoughts Jessica looked back down to the girl when she asked if she had seen her anywhere. "I am sorry but I have not, but I am sure she will turn up sometime they always do. My pygmy puff poppy used to run off all the time sometimes for only an hour sometimes for a whole day." She said with a reassuring smile. She remembered how scared she was when he ran off for a whole day, she was so scared she stayed up all night trying to find him but couldn't. The next morning though when she had given up on trying to find him there he was curled up into a little ball sleeping next to her on her bed.
Seeing the still worried look on her face Jessica said with a helpful smile "Would you like me to help you look?" She hoped this would help the girl a little girl a bit and the look on her face made her feel so bad as though she had done something wrong and she looked so pleading that not even a Slytherin would or could say no. Glancing down back at the girl she realized that hadn't formally met yet. "Oh, and by the way I am Jessica Rose Gryffindor third year."

Wendi looked up at the older girl. "I hope your right." She said with her head cocked in an odd direction. Wendi looked nicely to the side hoping again to see a bit of pink down the halls. But, they were draped in the usual school robes and things. Wendi tried to smile at the kids that passed but gave up and looked at the girl she was talking to. "You have a pygmy puff?" She asked in her usual high pitched tone. Wendi looked nicely with a grin now formed on her tanish face. "I absolutely love Tootsie." Wendi paused. "I've had her for a few years and she still manages to hop around every day." Wendi smiled at the though of her pet. Tootsie was so hyper and loved anyone and everyone just like Wendi. It was funny; they both had a lot in common. Of course, it was hard not have something in common as she liked many things in many different ways.
Wendi looked at the floor a moment focusing on the spots of white in the tile. A big smile brimmed her face as she looked up at the girl. "Oh, yes!" She giggled nicely. "Thank you." Wendi laughed again being her normal cheerful self. She never had a problem laughing or smiling. That all was a big part of her. Wendi loved everyone, but if they didn't like her ways, then she didn't want them to hang around too much. However, this girl seemed friendly enough. Wendi smiled nicely at Jessica as she introduced herself. That's a pretty name. She thought to herself remembering her many muggle friends by that name. It was somewhat common in different areas, but Wendi loved it all the same.
"I'm Wendi, Wendi Parson." She said after thinking about various things that swirled in her brain for a second. "I'm a Hufflepuff first year." She explained. "That's for being nice and helping. I'm glad I didn't run into a Slytherin." Wendi giggled letting the words out. "No offense." She said towards a Slytherin third year that just walked by when she said that. He just gave her an evil looked and walked fast. "Have a nice day!" Wendi called just wanting to make the boy a bit happier. Wendi watched as he turned back, gave her another look, and walked on. She smiled turning back to Jessica. "Yepp, I'm really glad it was you." She cheered softly. Wendi didn't understand why some Slytherins did that. She just wanted to make them happier, but that seemed like it would never happen.
Wendi smiled at Jessica. "Hmm." She said looking down the halls. "Let's start this way." Wendi said walking down a corridor as Jessica followed. Wendi looked at Jessica near her. "Thanks again, I'm glad your nice enough to help." She said in her usual sweet tone. Wendi walked further still looking at the Gryffindor girl feeling so much better. "So, tell me about your Pygmy Puff." She called sweetly. "Hey!" Wendi stopped suddenly getting an idea in her head. "When I find Tootsie, maybe out pets can play together. She said happily. "If you would like." Wendi added politely. She looked at Jessica waiting for an answer.

Jessica smiled as the girl happily agreed to her question. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you Wendi though I wish it was on better terms" she said in a fake proper tone then continuing in her normal voice "Oh' yes I do have one he is a little blue thing that is about the size of a small bowl I have had him for almost two years now, his name is poppy I now it is a really strange name and I don’t even now why I named him that it’s a shame though that he has to stay at my aunts house. My little black and white kitten Smokey didn't get along with him too well so my aunt said I could only bring one and I couldn't not take Smokey because she was so clingy to me when I first got her and I also wanted her to depend on me not my aunt!" Not even trying to suppress a giggle as the girl named Wendi talked to a slytherin and all they did was scowl and her little comments she let herself let out a little giggle.
Jessica loved the sound of her giggle it sounded so innocent and sweet, the total opposite of her. This girl had this sweet meanness in her it seemed but she wasn't too mean of course. "I'm glade you did pump into me too" Jessica said to the little girl named Wendi again. Following the girl into the hall ways Jessica tried to keep her eyes out for a little pink thing but had no luck. Were could she be Jessica wondered to herself maybe she is in the kitchens or in the donjons wait why would she be there shaking her head Jessica looked back at the girl and said "Do you think that she or he might be in the kitchen, Oh ya I forgot to ask is it a he or she?" .
Tucking a little piece of her long brown hair behind her ear Jessica looked down one of the many halls they had just walked and saw it was pretty much deserted. Well that is strange the hallways usually always have a couple at least running here or there late for a class and such. Jessica remembered when her friend Sarah had bought a new dog and she kept mixing them up. Sarah used to get so mad and all she said was sorry every time. It was kind of funny actually her friend would get into this big fuss and get all made at everything she said or did for a little while after that. She didn't understand what the big deal was it was just a dog. After she thought about it though for a few minuets she realized that she would be a little upset if someone kept calling her little kitten a he instead of a she.
Looking back at the girl named Wendi she said in a sweet tone "do you have any idea what so ever as were she might be?" Looking at the girl as she walked she didn’t notice the piece of paper on the floor and slipped on it. Falling into a fit of giggles as she picked herself back up her waited patiently for a response from the girl.
(Sorry it took so long to responded)

Wendi smiled politely listening to Jessica talk. Wendi had only ever had Tootsie as a pet. Her grandparents weren't too fond of them and Tootsie had just been special enough for her grandparents to accept her. She was such a smart pygmy puff, even though that might not make sense to some. She could do small things for Wendi such as pick things up and run then to her. Tootsie and Wendi also seemed to have much in common. They were both very hyper and even Tootsie liked to eat some of Wendi's left over candy sometimes. Wendi walked on looking up at the ceiling. She was thinking about her pet and Jamison. Once, Wendi had found Tootsie asleep in bed with Jamison. This made Wendi giggle so loud that it woke Jamison up. She never would have thought her brother would sleep with a pink fluff ball, but this delighted her all the same. Now, Wendi just wanted that moment back. Actually, she hated loosing every moment. If only Wendi could go back to her first year of life and see her parents. However, that would never happen and she felt jealous that Jamison had more time to spend with them.
Wendi smiled looking back at Jessica. "Oh, forgot, Tootsie is a girl." She said. Wendi then nodded. "Maybe she loves food." Wendi then shifting their paths towards the kitchens where her pet might be hiding. It wouldn't be uncommon at all for her pygmy puff to be there. Tootsie loved people and very much so loved food. Yes, the kitchens seemed a reasonable place for her to be. Wendi walked on looking at Jessica beside her. "I just want to find her." She said quietly now looking at her feet leaving marks seen for a half second and then disappear into nothingness. They were almost like Tootsie, but a pygmy puff couldn't just disappear. This, Wendi was glad of, but she was still concerned.
Wendi and Jessica finally neared the kitchens. Wendi got this feeling in her gut that her pet was near. She smiled looking at Jessica. "I have a good feeling she's here." She said looking at their shadows dance across the walls in a playful manner. Wendi pressed her feet harder on the ground moving a bit faster just wanted this to all be over and Tootsie found. Suddenly, as they were close to the portrait leading to the kitchens, Wendi saw a shadow of something round running. Wendi jogged a bit to catch up to it. She smiled seeing the pink shape of her pet. However, Tootsie was running away from Wendi. She was chasing something. What was it? Wendi saw a kitten in front of her pet. Tootsie must want to play. She thought. Wendi was now running to her pet, but not getting any closer. Suddenly, she slipped on a small pool of water and landing on the floor. "Please, get her Jessica!" Wendi called her leg hurting a bit. She sat their hoping for something to happen.
