Brook woke up happy and got happier every minute. She had gotten dressed in a pair of navy blue soccer shorts and a white t-shirt with a hoodie with the logo of 'Ravenclaws' on it. She had it made, and loved it a lot! It was warm and soft at the same time. Feeling the urge of a good book Brook grabbed her bag and went to the Library. On her way she passed quite a few people. And among those people were a few she didn't like, she started to double her pace and she nearly ran straight into someone "Sorry!" she said a loud and rushed on hoping to find a good book that would help her understand a few things from one of her classes. She found it thankfully and was happy to know that it had exactly what she was looking for.
She went over to the table and opened up the book and began reading. After she had read at least twenty pages she noticed someone had joined her. "Hi!" she wispered, "My name is Brook." noticing the girl was a gryffindor third year she hoped that she wasn't to mean like a few others that Brook had encoutered with.

Turning the knobs to the right, she stepped out of the tub and let the water drain. Squeezing her hair dry, she picked up the skinny brush and stroked her blonde hair. Pulling on a pair of sweat pants, she scrambled to get to the shirt inside of her suitcase.
Packing her bag, she grabbed a book to return and slowly made her way to the library. Returning the book, she took another off the shelf. Studying the tables, she noticed every single one of them were full, that is, except for one. At that very table, sat a third year ravie. No choice but to sit there... she thought. Tossing her books down, she took a seat and opened the book. Just as she had turned to the 4th page, the third year had spoken to her.
"Names Jennifer." She eyed the third year suspiciously, watching her movements. Stuffing a small piece of gum into her mouth, she glared at the ravie. Opening the book once more, she continued to read.

Seeing the attitude that the girl named 'Jennifer' had she decided she might as well try to be nice. But wasn't so sure it would be that easy, so waiting to see if the other girl talked any she started to read some more. Finiding the part about dragons Brook started to get into it and was just a few minutes away from finishing the chapter when she noticed the library crowd thinning out. Brook was starting to get the urge of chewing on something so she pulled out a bag of peppermints, loving the of the mint she asked if the girl wanted one also adding that they were her favorite candies. Looking down at her book she decided she would finish the chapter while she let Jennifer consider taking a peppermint.
ooc: I am laughing pm if you can't guess why.

Jennifer, noticing the girl pull out the peppermints, pulled out her own. She herself was a fan of peppermints. "No thanks, I have my own." She stated, popping one into her mouth and glaring at Brook. She flipped through the pages in the book she had in her hand. Twirling the empty clear wrapper in her other hand, she finished off that peppermint, and popped another into her mouth. Getting up to switch books, she placed the one she barely read onto the shelf and pulled out a medium sized book with a shiny clear-blue covering. Sitting back down, she opened it and began reading once more.

Hearing the girl say no she slowly peeled off the wrapper and stuck one into her mouth. Seeing that she had read all the book could tell about what she had needed to know she, like Jennifer, got up and went to find a different book after putting that one back. Finding a good book in the muggle section she went and sat back down to see if it was as good as its title. She had started into the sixth page when she noticed the girl had already gotten on her second peppermint while Brook was still on her first one. Rolling up the sleeves of her hoodie she almost said "Ho9w fast can you eat one peppermint?" but didn't want to stir up anymore trouble so she just stopped her self and went on reading wondering if the girl would say anything else.

Jennifer watched Brook closely. Chewing on her third, she lowered the book to the table. "Do you have anything interesting AT ALL to say?" She tossed the wrappers into her bag and placed it back under the table. "I mean, because, if you do, I will actually stay and have a conversation with you. Just pick some topic, sheesh. Not anything like 'you have nice hair'. I mean, seriously. I'm not always rude. Most of the time though, just get over it and start a conversation with me, It's not that hard." Jennifer sighed and continued reading.

Hearing what she had just heard confused Book a little so she said "Well, to tell you the truth, I usually don't start conversations, I help them get started I just never really start them!" Staring on her second peppermint she tried to think of a topic to talk about and then suddenly it came to her so she said "How did you get hooked on peppermints? I ate one once and then I just kept on eating them so now I eat them all the time!" Taking a deep breath she waited for Jennifer to reply while she marked her page and then closed the book.
