We're on a Mission! ((Mikayla and Danielle))

Hayden skipped through the halls of the Hogwarts castle cheerfully, a wide and bright smile plastered upon her small face. As the girl skipped, she hummed a small tune to herself while also adding in a few 'La la's here and there. It was a rather bright and sunny day out for December... but Hayden didn't care. The snow from the day before was starting to melt, and Hayden really wanted to go outside and play in it before it all melted away... but she had more important things to do! She was on a mission that Saturday morning! She was on a mission to wander around and explore the great castle that she now could call home until the summer holidays.

Hayden's long blond hair was pulled back into two high ponytails on each side of her head, and she had decided to wear muggle clothes that day, since she didn't understand why people still wanted to wear robes during the weekend. She was all decked out in her favorite blue jeans, and her pink, furry and sparkly turtleneck sweater, with her best tennis shoes to go with the outfit.

"Now... where to begin..." she murmured to herself, putting her finger to her chin as she looked around the hallways. She was still somewhere in the main hallways, so there were many rooms and other hallways and passageways to choose from. Just then, Hayden saw two young girls near herself. The girls both looked about her age and friendly enough. Hayden put on another cheerful grin as she approached the two. "Hello there!" she said when she reached them. "My name's Hayden, Hayden Hinson at your service!" she introduced herself happily, taking a short bow. "I'm a first year. A Hufflepuff, by the way. Anyway, I'm going on a mission! I'm going on a mission through the castle! You know, just exploring and wandering around... that sort of stuff... but I like to think of it as a small mission or journey. You know, to make things more fun and lighten them up a bit. So... would you two like to join me on this noble quest? We could make it into some some sort of fun game, or something like that!" she rambled on hyperly. A hopeful look crossed her face as she waited for their replies.

Mikayla jumped the girl startled her. "Oh... Hi my name is Mikayla." She said trying to catch her breath. The girl talked so fast with so much cuteness Mikayla had a hard time keeping up with her. She said her name was Hayden Hinson. She was a Huffle 1st year. Mikayla thought to herself. "Man she is hyper." She made Mikayla feel like skipping and bringing peace to all. Mikayla watched the girls mouth it seemed to move a mile a minute. "I would love to explore the castle!" Mikayla replied quickly. "I have really only have seen the main places that I go to everyday.." Mikayla replied kindly.

Mikayla had been talking to Danielle before Hayden came up. She had been asking her a question about some homework, but Mikayla decided she would much rather explore the castle and worry about homework earlier. "I'm a Ravenclaw 1st year." Mikayla liked to say that it made her feel so smart and prestigious. Mikayla looked at the girls outfit, it was so adorable. Mikayla asked the girl "Where did you get that sweater?" Mikayla said while examining it further. It was cute pink and fury, very stylish. Mikayla loved it. Mikayla had been wearing her newest Hot pink shirt. Her different colored striped sweater. Her cute baggy bell bottoms. And her brand new snow boots they were liker ugg boots except they had a white fur on them and were cuter for being out in the snow. Mikayla had her hair in to perfect braids like usual. She looked at Hayden and waited for her to say where they were going to explore first.

Danielle jumped a little and looked at the girl. " Hello. My name is Danielle Pewter, I'm a first year Gryffindor. Sure why not though exploring the castle would be great! Especially since we can't play in the snow. Snow is fun, but I like having snowbal fights. Even though I get hit in the face and it hurts a lot." Smiling she looked at the girls clothes. "Nice outfit." she commented. It really was. Danielle didn't like pink but other that that it was nice. Well actually pink does look good sometimes. She thought to herself. Shrugging her shoulders she looked down at the floor.

She wasn't wearing a single thing that was pink. Bell bottoms, a red tee-shirt, and tennies shoes. Her hair was down, whitch was rare for her since she normally had it in a ponytail. But it still looked nice. Red is almost like pink, she thought. No it's not pink is lighter. Shaking her head she looked up again. She smiled to herself waiting for someone to say something.

Hayden's grin only grew wider (if that was possible) as she looked from one girl to the other, and listened closely to them talk for a short period of time. "Oh, then hello Miss Mikayla." Hayden said as she nodded to the girl. She liked the sound of that name, so Hayden grinned again. The blond then turned to the other girl. "And hello there... Darling Danielle." she said, giggling slightly. Hayden couldn't exactly think of any 'D' words, such as she did with Mikayla's name, so she simply said the first thing that came to mind. "It's very nice to formerly meet both of you." Hayden added. "Oh, and Mikayla-I'm actually not quite sure where my sweater's from." she started again with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "It was a Christmas present from my mum, last year. I'm very happy that it still fits me, since it's my favorite sweater. You know, I actually don't grow that much over the years. So... I suppose that explains how I can wear clothes for over a year of time." she explained.

"So, are you two both ready to start our mission?" Hayden asked with a gleam in her eyes and a ping of excitement clear in her voice. Without waiting for either one of their answers-she was too excited-Hayden started to skip happily, further down the hall. "C'mon." she called to the girls behind her, making a hand gesture for the two to catch up with her.

Once all three of the girls were together, Hayden began to speak again. "Alrighty," she began. "I was actually looking to find that one room. Umm... It's called the Room of... erm... I'm pretty sure that the last word starts with an 'R'..." Hayden searched the deepest that she could into her head, trying to remember what her friend had told her that the room was called. Umm... reguire...? No, that wasn't it... "Requirements!" Hayden called out as she put her right hand up, her pointer finger raised. "That's it! It's called the Room of Requirements. Yes, I'd really love to find that room. My friend said that it can turn up anywhere in the castle! Well... I'm pretty sure that's what she said..." Hayden trailed off again, putting her finger to her mouth in thought. "Oh well. Anyway, she said that the room can turn into anything that you could possibly want it to be! Well, I don't know about you two, but to me, that sounds like it would be a bloody brilliant room!" Hayden finished with another broad grin as she started walking down the hall again.
