Rosaliz had written her letter carefully, in her best penmanship, not even using her favorite hello kitty stationary and opting instead for some fancy parchment. It had the Hogwarts emblem across the top, and Rosaliz traced her finger around the four animals inside it. The snake, for Slytherin... And the lion…that was for Gryffindor. Despite what the sorting hat had said, Rosaliz felt she belonged in Hufflepuff than in Gryffindor. Not that, she regretted it. Maybe she didn't have the characteristics of a Gryffindor but there was no doubt in her mind that the house was the one that she would have the most fun in.
She had picked an empty classroom for some time to be alone, in the hope that she would get some quiet, but a cupboard in the corner was rattling like crazy. Rosaliz wondered if a ghoul or a boggart was inside it, or if it was just enchanted. Either way, she didn't want to try her luck facing it. The subjects would just have to live with the noise, but the real problem was her quill. She had enchanted it to transcribe everything that was said in the interview, and as the cupboard clashed and banged in the corner, the quill was writing nonsense like, "Clash! Bang! Boom!” It was like living in a Batman episode. "Stop it," she said sharply to the object, but of course it went on doing it. She sighed. As long as it didn't use up all of the parchment with nonsense, she supposed it was ok. Next time she wouldn't take the cheap route and actually purchase a quality quill transcriber.
Rosaliz made her way towards the owlery and delivered the mail. The sun in the room, making the owl’s feather shine. She sent an owl for her aunt. Then giving the birds some treats. As she made her way down the stairs she sighed. She didn’t have anything much better to do. She gazed into her thoughts until she bumped into something falling face flat on the marble floor. She didn’t have any clue what she bumped into or how sudden it happened. As she stood up she saw it was a person. At first she wasn’t sure who it was but the face was obvious familiar. She frowned in disappointment trying to figure out who it was.
