Aubree was quite bored. She had finished all her homework and had studied as much as she could. Aubree studied alot and worked her hardest on anything she wanted to do. She was actually almost placed in Ravenclaw because of her study habits. But, now she was tired of all that stuff. So, she decided to explore the castle. She hadn't really looked around too much her other three years. She basically stayed in the common room or went to classes. She wanted to do something different. Since she knew most of the dungeons she decided to explore the sixth and seventh floors. She made her way up the large stair cases. Aubree didn't know any short cuts. When she reached the sixth story she went down a hall to see what she could find.
As she continued down the hall, she looked around her. She mainly saw older students. It seemed the younger students didn't venture up here alot. Aubree finally found an empty hall and turned into a room. The room was bare, but she noticed something weird about it. The room was a light shade of white and mirrors lined the walls. She looked harder at the mirror in the center. She could see something through it! It seemed that she could somehow get in the mirror. Aubree did the first thing she could think of. " Alohamora." She whispered. Suddenly, the mirror split and opened. "No." She for a minute. Deciding if she should venture inside.

Caiest sighed closing her charms book. There was no way she'd get her assignment finished tonight. She was to restless to concentrate and it wasn't like it was due tomorrow anyway she had time to wait. She might as well do something with her time instead of stare at a blank parchment for hours. So she packed up her bag and put it back in her room. It wasn't unlike her to procrastinate in fact she did it often. She was actually surprsied when she was placed in Ravenclaw. She didn't think herself very bright and it wasn't like she was a constant studier so why she was put in her house was beyond her. Still she didn't dwell upon it too often. It wasn't a bad house and the people in it were fairly tolerable.
After depositing her bag in her dormitary she decided to wander. She loved to roam the castle especially after dinner. After dinner was when most people decided to head back to thier rooms so the hallways were always fairly clear. Caiest decided not to decide on a set destination. She always found the most intersting places when she let her feet guide her. Caiest walked for what seemed like hours walking while absorbed in her own thoughts. It wasn't until the staircase moved that she realized she was on the sixth floor.
Caiest looked around trying to decided which way to go. She'd never in all her years of Hogwarts been up to the sixth floors. Caiest tried to stay on the grounds because if truth be told she was terrified of hights. A glint from the room ahead caught her eye and Caiest walked towards it. Once there she noticed a girl in the room. The room was lined with mirrors and Caiest realized that must have been what was making the room glint. Caiest watched as the girl muttered alohomora and the mirror in front of her opened. "Who would've thought that would happen." Caiest said with wonder stepping farther into the room.

Aubree looked around the room when she heard a voice behind. It was a Ravenclaw in Aubree's year. Aubree gave her a small scowl. She wanted to be alone right now, but the girl was in Ravenclaw and Aubree could at least tolerate her. "Well, I didn't think it would be that easy. Things like that are usually harder." Aubree told the girl. She then turned around to look at the passageway. It was not dark, but actually pretty bright. It seemed that their was another mirror room at the end it. Aubree couldn't help but be curious. She wanted to go in it, but not alone. So, she turned to the girl. "Want to go with me? She asked.
Aubree didn't know if the girl would or not, but Aubree was always up for an adventure. Instead of waiting for the girl's reply. She simply said. "Oh, I'm Aubree by the way." She moved closer to the entrance as she took out her wand. She looked at the girl again. "Are you coming or not?" She said sternly. Aubree tapped her foot while waiting for a reply.

Caiest noticed the girl give her a small scowl. She'd probably wanted to be alone. To bad. Caiest stepped in closer to the room. The girl was right when she said things like that are usually harder. In fact in all of Caiests years never had she seen something that cool open up so easily. It was almost like it was begging to be found. It almost unnerved her but at the same time she found the whole thing intriguing and it made her want to investigate all the more. Luckily for Caiest she didn't have to investigate the passageway without an invitation for the girl turned and asked if she wanted to go as well. Caiest smiled. "Nothing short of Filch could keep me from it." She said stepping closer to the girl.
The girl introduced herself as Aubree. "I'm Caiest." She said taking out her wand and stepping past Aubree into the long entrance way. It wasn't dark like most passageways this one was brightly lit and it almost seemed as if the light was coming from the walls themselves. "This is highly unusual." She said stopping and looking at one of the walls closely.

Aubree watched as the girl introduced herself as Caiest. That's an odd name. She thought. Caiest basically said she'd love to go and stepped past Aubree into the passageway. When she stopped Aubree rushed past her. Aubree was a true Slytherin and had to be in charge. That's just the way she was. Aubree walked down the brightly lit tunnel. She looked back a few times to make sure Caiest was behind her. Finally, the two entered the room, and it was exactly like she pictured it. It was bright lit with mirrors and candles. The room looked very gorgeous. Aubree stared at it in awe.
"This is amazing." She said to Caiest. But, it seemed too easy. Aubree knew that couldn't be it. There had to be more to it. She then noticed something. One mirror in the very corner wasn't normal. She couldn't see her reflection in it. Aubree could just see light. She looked closer at it. It looked like a passage way! The mirror seemed to be a disguise for something. Aubree stuck out her hand. It went right through the mirror. The mirror wasn't a mirror at all. It was a picture frame bewitched to have a mirror like film on it. She could see the passageway started out light and then would get very dark. Aubree then looked at Caiest. She stepped out of the way a little. "You lead the way." She said. It was Caiest turn and Aubree didn't want to go down that. She waited for Caiest to reply.

Caiest laughed silently as Aubree hurried past her taking the lead. She was just like every other Slytherin she'd had the pleasure of meeting. Always having to have things their way always having to take the lead. Caiest didn't mind though she preferred having people in front of her anyway. It made it easier to watch your back when everyone was in front of you. Not that she expected Aubree to attack her or anything Caiest was just precautious.
After a little bit they reached a room. It was full of mirrors upon mirrors. The whole thing kind of reminded Caiest of a muggle fun house. The ones where you'd get lost in a maze of mirrors and it took ages to find your way out. She sincerely hoped this wasn't the wizarding version of one of those. If that where the case things could get very tricky.
Caiest walked over to where Aubree was standing. It seemed she had found a doorway leading even farther into the secret passageway. Caiest grinned as Aubree told her to lead the way. "I'd love to." She said stepping walking into the passageway. About halfway in the passageway became darker. Caiest pulled out her wand and lit it. After walking a little bit further the sound of water was clearly heard. Wondering why water would be in a hidden passageway Caiest walked further in. The passageway lead to a huge cavernous room. Even though the water could be heard there was none to be seen. Caiest turned to Aubree. "I wonder what's making that sound."

Aubree followed Caiest through the passageway. As they continued, the passageway opened out to a large carver type room. "Wow," Aubree commented. She could hear her voice bounce off the walls forming an echo. "Ok, what is a cavern like this doin in Hogwarts?" She looked around her once more. The room was huge with stalagmites and stalagmightes clinging to the floor and ceiling. "You know those things take millions of years to grow n inch." She commented pointing to the objects. The room was filthy and didn't seem to be visited very often. "Ick." She said prodding the dirt beneath her.
Caiest commented about the sound of water coming from someplace. "Of course it's water, but the question is where is it." Maryn said bluntly. This girl was in ravencalw and didn't know a simple fact. She isn't so bad. Aubree thought. She had met worse Ravenclaws. Aubree walked across the large room assuming Caiest would follow. Then, she heard the water getting louder. As she stepped further towards it she could make out the water. It was a water fall, but something was different about it. "Lovely." She said staring at the river of blood. At that moment, Aubree could tell that this whole journey had to be made by a Slytherin because only to a Slytherin blood meant killing and killing meant power. "There hiding something." She muttered under her breath. She knew that the red stream had a purpose and it was meant to shield something.
