Caiest couldn't sleep she wondered how anyone could really sleep this year after everything that had happened. Maybe it was just her but she couldn't really sleep anymore not with everything that happened that year. She had too many things to worry about for her mind to calm down enough for sleep. The attack on the hogwarts express, the dead girl, Dana and kris, her parents. It was all too much so many things to worry about to think about and not enough room for it all. No in these times sleep was a luxury and it was also one she couldn't afford.
She was restless. To leave the common rooms after dark was forbidden. Especially in these times but it was a risk she was going to have to take. She just couldn't take being cooped up in the common room all the time. Being stuck in one place with all the people it was her own personal hell. So making sure no one else was up she quietly made her way out of the common room and into the hallways.
On most nights she never knew where she was going until she arrived and tonight was the same. She was so busy trying to sort out her thoughts and concerns that she didn't even realize she was at the library till she was there. The library was a great place to go at night. Especially now she had a lot of things she needed to research and look up and never enough time to do it in. Lighting her wand she began searching through the seemingly endless rows and rows of books trying to find the one she most wanted.
((Sorry it's not very good))

((No, no. It's very good. Terribly sorry that it took me as long as it did to reply, been a bit busy with Maddie and Hayden.)) The boy tossed and turned, back and forth, in the four poster bed. The blankets were wrapped around him all over, and he soon began to get tangled in them, because of his flipping from one side to another. He soon found himself struggling to get free from the pieces of warm, and rather tight at the moment, cloth. He struggled soon more, and then... ' thump!'. Nathaniel rubbed the back of his head, while muttering "Owe...", the result of falling from the bed. Nathaniel glanced around the room. He had thought that he would have at least woke up one of the boys, but they were still all fast asleep. He wished that he could go to sleep, like them, very badly. He was dead tired, but he couldn't sleep. Too many things were going on, and sometimes... on nights like this, he just wished that he could escape it all, but he couldn't. The boy sighed, as he piled the bedspread, that had fallen off the bed with him, back onto his bed in a big pile, right in the middle. He rubbed his eyes, and sat on the edge on the bed. He sat this way for a good amount of time, not really doing anything... just... thinking, I suppose you could call it. After this little session was finished, Nathaniel sighed yet again, and picked himself from the bed. He wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, that was for sure. He stood up, and readied himself to go on a midnight walk, through the huge castle. Even though he probably wouldn't run into any other students, he imagined that his hair was probably standing on ends, and sticking straight up. It usually was, since he had so much of it. He simply ran his hands through the brown clumps, and quietly slipped from the dorm. He snuck out of the Hufflepuff common room, without much difficulty at all, and began his small midnight journey. Nathaniel was well aware that this was against the rules, but he felt that this was probably the only way that he would ever be able to get some sleep. He didn't exactly know where he was going, because he was mostly daydreaming, or thinking. Before he knew it, his feet has carried him to the library entrance. The boy shrugged. The library was always a nice place to go for some peace and quiet, so he decided that he would stay for a while. He walked among the many shelves of books, again, not really noticing or paying attention to where he was going, or knowing what he was exactly looking for. He soon came across a girl, that looked just about Nathaniel's age, that looked as if she had come to the library, for probably about the same reason that Nathaniel did. He put a slight smile on his face, and he turned to the girl, and greeted her softly, as to not frighten her, because everything was silent, so she hadn't noticed him yet. "Hello there. Guess you couldn't sleep either, huh?"

Caiest jumped slightly as a boy greeted her and asked if she couldn't sleep either. She silently cursed to herself for jumping she hated it when people got the one up on her even if they didn't mean to. Caiest turned to face the boy. He was about her age though not in her house. He was if she had to guess either in Hufflepuff of Gryffindor he didn't look like the type of person to be in Slytherin. "Obviously I couldn't sleep or I'd be in bed." She said realized it sounded rude and sighed. "sorry you just scared me a little." Caiest extended her hand. "The name's Caiest what's yours?" She asked.
After a little bit Caiest went back to searching the stacks of books talking while she scanned the titles. "So what brings you here? Other than the whole not sleeping thing. I mean this is considered the witching hour you know and most people go to the kitchens or the room of requirement. Not the library."
