((Join if you wish, don't if you don't want to. I can always have Kia and Adrian fighting if no one joins. I was just bored and decided to entertain you all at the same time. Aren't I just so nice? ;D))
Life was just so boring lately. Everything was the same. Nothing ever changed. Nothing exciting or out of the ordinary happened. Whichever way she put it, the facts were still the same. Life was boring and Kia was determined to change it. But how? What could she do? If there was anything left to do to dispose of her boredom then Kia must have overlooked it when pondering what to do. It just seemed so bleak. Usually entertaining herself wasn't a problem for the hyper-active, energetic, bouncy young Gryffindor. An activity could usually be found in the strangest of things. Hand Kia something and she could generally make something exciting out of it. But not today and not for the last week or so. She had been trailing around listlessly for a few days, too listless to even think up something to do. If anyone had noticed then they'd had the good sense not to mention it. Kia had a fiery temper when roused and wouldn't think twice about fighting someone who angered her, whether the person was her friend or not.
An idea suddenly struck and Kia grinned mischievously, bouncing up off her bed and forward to her wardrobe. It was here somewhere, she just knew it was. A strange urge had compelled her to bring it to Hogwarts and she had followed her instincts and brought it. She distinctly remembered pushing it to the back of her wardrobe until the reason presented itself and here the reason was. But where was the darned thing? "Yes!" Kia backed out of her wardrobe, holding up the item triumphantly. Unfortunately, the back of her head hit the edge of the wardrobe door and Kia dropped the item as she clutched her head and grumbled nonsensically. Stupid wardrobe. Yet another thing to add to her list of things to hate. Desks, walls and now wardrobes. How treacherous! Even her own wardrobe was turning against her. Disgraceful. Kia glared at the wardrobe and shook a fist menacingly, dreaming of hitting it but too wary of the retribution that could follow. Not even inanimate objects enjoyed being hit, you know.
A few minutes and a tiring bounce through the common room and the corridors later and Kia was out in the grounds. A lovely place to be sure but for once, her interest wasn't in the beauty of the outdoors. No, no, no. Now her interest was focused on the item she had lugged through the school, carefully covered with a piece of fabric. It was bad luck to reveal such a thing before having other people there! No...wait, that a groom seeing a bride before a wedding. Oh well, no worries. Kia still wasn't going to reveal her prize before a few students became curious about the young Gryffindor simply standing in the middle of the grounds and wandered over to see what was happening. Oh yes, it was certainly a master plan. Foolproof, even.
A few more minutes passed and no students wandered over, a fact that made Kia scowl and set the item down on the ground before pulling off the fabric with a dramatic flourish. If no one was interested then she'd save it all for herself. Oh yes, oh yes. Now that was a great plan! Why share her brilliant prize with others when she could simply have all the fun for herself. Kia paused and frowned. That would be mean. Oh well. If they wanted to join then they could. Kia certainly wouldn't make them leave. Had she ever turned people away? No and she wasn't planning to start now. A simple tap of her wand on the item and bubbles began spewing out of the item and Kia grinned in delight before tapping her wand again and starting some music. Her dad had gotten both her and her sister one for Christmas a few years ago and both children had been delighted. Bubbles were so much fun! And if people were too grown up to chase after bubbles then they could dance along with the music. A bubble drifted past Kia's nose and she leaped after it, doing a victory dance when she popped it before pouncing at another bubble.
