“Jeremiah was a bullfrog,” Lenora sang holding her brush in front of her mouth like a microphone again as she jumped off her bed. She tossed the brush onto her bed as she spun out of the room still singing all the way out into the common room. Once she reached the portrait hole she threw her winter cloak on and skipped down the seven floors. She finished the song as she reached the entrance hall then started all over again. Joy To The World what a wonderful song.
Throwing open a huge oak door Lenora looked out on near-pristine white snow. Other students had obviously romped around in it too but that just made it that much better – she wasn’t destroying the beauty she was just adding to the chaos. “Haha” Lenora said in a childish way as she whipped out her wand and started creating snowballs. Magically she made them roll across the snow as they got bigger and bigger and bigger. Finally she stopped one of the three and left it right where it was – a big pile of white fluff.
Spinning and dancing, backtracking and making sharp turns Lenora made the second and third snowballs even bigger then the first – making the third largest of all. In fact the third snowball was probably about the size of a large boulder when she had finished with it. Happily Lenora went in search of the second ball she had left not too far off. Stowing her wand away Lenora picked up the snowball herself and with a bit of difficulty – especially considering the snow was shifting and he ball kept trying to fall onto her boots – Lenora got it over and placed on top of the third. Her snowman was halfway complete – he just needed his head and some accessories.
As these things will sometimes happen Lenora spotted a familiar someone outside just as she picked up the third snowball – which was big enough she had to use both hands to hold it but not nearly as large as the second had been. “Hey, Robert!” she called at the boy she had not spoken to since the year before simply due to not enough spare time with OWL preparation and all. “Heads up” she called at him tossing the snowball in his direction and hoping he heard her. Having been having snowball fights with her brother Aaron for years Lenora had pretty good aim with a snowball…
