Janet ran her hands down her robes smoothing them out as she stood from the chair in the Ravenclaw common room. She had fallen asleep there during her break. She looked around the common room. It was oddly empty and quiet. She wondered if she was missing class, but she was done for the day. She was just going to have to find something to do before supper. A smile came to her face as she hurriedly ran to her trunk in her dormitory. She pulled out one of the many books that were packed inside. The book was small and seemed to be very important for the pages looked like they had never been opened, when in reality they had been opened and read many times. She held the book in her hands with a smile on her face.
Looking around the quiet dormitory she shook her head. Not in there. At the thought she left the dormitory behind and then left the common room exiting the Ravenclaw dormitory and heading toward the doors that led to the grounds. She was going to sit out in the sunshine. She would read somewhere obscure so she didn't look like a nut, though she was the first to admit that she was. She opened the doors slowly and closed her eyes against the sunshine. It certainly was bright outside that day. It was also completely beautiful; not a cloud in the sky. Janet smiled. She loved it when it seemed that the world was at peace and nothing was wrong with anything.
Janet closed the door behind her and continued out into the freshly melted snow. It was slushy and the grass beneath the melted snow was beginning to poke through to get sunshine. Janet smiled as she trudged through the wet grass to the lake. She took out her wand and dried a patch of grass near the lake so she could sit down without getting wet. She sat down quickly and smiled at the beautiful site of the sunshine's mirror image in the lake. She took the mental picture and moved it to a special place in her heart. Reserved for those times when life, well for lack of a better term, sucks. She would make sure that some sort of beauty would come alive in her heart to make those times a bit better and happier.
Janet turned from the beautiful image and then looked down at the book in her hand. The title of the book: Romeo and Juliet. One of the greatest tragedy's ever written by William Shakespeare. It was the first play Janet had starred in and it had been one of the best. The little boy that had played Romeo had actually attended an audition for a movie and got the role. He was out there now making movies. She knew that if she hadn't went on to Hogwarts that she would be doing the same thing right now, but she wanted this experience. She had always wanted to go to Hogwarts and just because she wanted to be an actress didn't mean that her love for magic was going to die. In fact she probably loved magic even more thanks to acting. She smiled at the thought. She then opened the book and began to read.

Ellie stepped out of the shower and quickly wrapped a blue towel around her. Looking to see what time it was she saw it was almost dinner time. "Oh, great now when am I supposed to finish my assignment?" Shaking her head she stalked into her dorm and picked out a baby blue top with silver righting on it that said I am not in a bad mood I just don’t like you. This pretty much explained how she was feeling right now except she was in a bad. She had fallen into the lake and then after she was soaking wet she had fallen into a mud puddle. The one time she didn't have her wand was the time that she needed it most. So she had to walk all the way back up to the common room which on the way she was screamed at by Filch and taunted by peeves.
Pulling a pair of faded light blue Jeans Ellie walked back into the bathroom her temper slowly but surly lowering. Shutting the door tightly behind her she tried her self off and slipped into her clothes. Walking over to one of the many mirrors she pulled out her wand. Whispering a spell while pointing her wand at her hair it instantly was dry. Pulling her new blue and silver her mom had bought for her she ran it threw her long brown hair getting all the notes out. Looking in the mirror to see what her hair looked like with the drying spell. She saw it worked perfectly. Once she had had a bad occurrence with this spell. She had tried her hair and it had turned purple and was very frizzy but she was grateful to see her hair was sleek and shiny as it should be.
Smiling slightly she pulled out her purple make up bag and set it on the counter. Then pulling out a liquid black eye-liner she applied it to as close as she could get it to her eyelashes on both of her eyes. After checking to see that it was put on evenly she then moved on to her mascara. Pulling out brown mascara she rolled it over both sets of eyelashes carefully so she would not get it on her skin or in her eyes. Setting these to things she pulled out a clear lip-gloss and applied it to her already pink lips. Looking in the mirror one last time to check her appearance. She had spent a load more of time today and she saw that she had done a good job. She normally didn't spend that much time in front of the mirror but she had nothing better to do so she had thought why not.
Walking out of the bathroom and slipping out of her common room she walked slowly down one of the hallways that lead to the grounds. She always went outside when she needed to think or had a bad day. It was just something about the view that made her thought calm and every problem disappear for a little at least. As she walked past a window she saw a few little first years running back and forth enjoying the sunshine smiling she kept walking. The first year of Hogworts was one of the funnest years of all of them she had to admit. Walking into the cool air she uncannily started to sing one of the songs she had written. She loved to write and sing music. When she was ten she was voted to have the best voice in her town.

Janet was smiling as she continued to read through one of her favorite Shakespearean plays. Romeo and Juliet was a classic, one that was so great that most people never understood the greatness of it. How wrong they were. Romeo and Juliet was the epitome of love and faithfulness. A story about how they would do anything for love, to just be together. She was now at the part where they meet for the first time at Juliet's manor. "If I profane with my unworthiest hand/This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this:My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand/To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss..." she said out loud. Oh, how romantic! If a guy ever said that to her she'd be gone. Swept off on a tidal wave of joy. Of course she didn't have anyone telling her that. She was one of those girls that didn't search out relationships, but just kind of waited for them to happen. If they didn't she didn't care. She was more in love with acting and magic than she would be if she had a boyfriend or what not. However, she wasn't turning down invitations either.
Janet read on..."My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown and known too late!" Oh she has just found out that Romeo is the son of her greatest enemy. It's love at first sight though. It was at this time that Janet's thoughts about love and Shakespeare were interrupted by a voice. It was light at first, but seemed to be traveling closer. She turned back to her book trying to ignore the voice, but whoever was singing was good. Better than her by the sound of it and that was saying something. If Janet couldn't be a film actress she was going to be auditioning for musical theatre in New York on Broadway. She was good at singing, dancing, and acting. Really she was a triple threat which didn't come to often in the acting world.
Janet placed her book aside and called out to the person singing. She couldn't see who it was, but she still wanted to know who it was, even if it was a Slytherin. "Excuse me, who's singing?" Janet called out to the voice. She didn't know if they were close enough to hear her, but she didn't care either. If they didn't respond she would attempt to go back to reading.

She was singing a song she had wrote when she was going out with this boy last year that she liked but he was…..well lets just say he wasn't your dream boyfriend. She liked him though so there relationship lasted for about four months. Her song was about not necessarily her relationship but it was kind of a romance story. It was about this girl that fell in love with a boy that liked her for thee wrong reasons. He wasn't very nice to her and yet she wouldn't leave him. It explained her love for him and expressed her pain about the way he treated her. This was one of her favorite songs and the melody was amazing. It kind of sounded like something you would here in the musical Rent with a little pop in it. As she sang she began to sing with more emotion and slowly but surly became louder. She was kind of not even aware of her surrounding she was watching her story fold out in her head. She listened as she sang at the different notes and the words.
Not really paying attention she walked all the way to the lake and realized someone was calling out. She instantly felt her cheeks flush. She didn't realize that someone had been there or she wouldn't have been singing. She felt her cheeks and they felt hot. Taking two deep breaths she waited until her face wasn't red anymore and turned around to see who had called out. She didn't see anyone but she could have sworn that someone had said something. Slightly confused she looked around a bit looking by a couple trees and seeing nothing but a little bit of snow and big oak trees. Shaking her head slightly she started to turn around when she heard someone call out again asking who was singing. For what she heard it sounded like a girl's voice. Praying that it was a girl she went towards the voice but made sure first that she wasn't blushing anymore. Smoothing out her shirt she walked to were she had heard the voice. She always had to look calm and on top of things like nothing bothered her even though she was nervous in her head. Maybe it was when her friends always she was always so on top of things and nothing scared her. Little did they now what thoughts were going threw her head.
Walking behind a big oak tree she saw a girl she recognized that was in her house. They had never met properly though. Smiling slightly she said in a joking voice "You rang?" Laughing slightly she said "I am Ellie, Ellie Nashawitts." Looking at the she saw that the girl had a book in her hand. Looking a little more closely she saw that it was titled Romeo and Juliet. She really didn't care for tragedy books because she thought she had enough commotion in her life by herself.
