Alexandra's eyes snapped open, though she could not see a thing. The darkness of the room was so thick, the fourteen year old Slytherin girl couldn't even see the posts on her four poster bed. She slowly rose from her bed, wondering why she had awakened so suddenly. Taking hold of her wand, which sat on the corner of her desk (as always), she whispered the incantation "Lumos". The tip of her wand flared and she stood from her bed. She instantly looked at the magical clock that sat next to her bed on the wooden desk. She sighed, rubbing at her eyes and yawning. Six minutes to midnight... oh joy. She turned to look out the window. The moon was only a sliver tonight and no clouds were in the sky. She yawned again and wondering if she should try to get back to sleep or take a walk.
Knowing she could not get to sleep again, she decided on a walk. Spending a few hours alone in the dark night would be comforting. Especially after the week she had. She placed her lit wand on her desk and grabbed a plain black t-shirt and a pair of jeans from her trunk. Slipping the t-shirt over her head, over the white tank top she always wore to bed, and forcing the jeans on over her pajama bottoms, Alexandra glanced in the mirror. Though she had always dreamed of never seeing her reflection (which is a sign of vampirism), she still liked to see how she looked every once in a while. She grunted at her grungy appearance. Her hair was everywhere and her make-up from yesterday was smeared.
Taking up her wand again, she muttered an incantation that cleared her make-up and fixed her hair. She had always loved that spell. Without applying any more make-up, she took up her winter cloak and her wand and walked out of the dormitory. She was up the stair case that led to the Great Hall in minutes and out the double doors in seconds. The cold was piercing and it stabbed at her through her cloak, but she did not mind. For a few seconds outside, her body got accustomed and she walked out toward the lake.
She did like the lake at night. The way the ripples on the water's surface reflected the moon light. Alexandra sat down once she was at the lake's shore. The grass, thankfully, wasn't too wet and strangely wasn't too cold. Alexandra sat there, staring out at the lake's beauty. How long she sat there, she did not know, for her thoughts were going over every horrible thing that had happened that week...

Jack Rendel was not one to fall asleep and stay asleep. He had trouble sleeping in the dungeons this time of year anyway, considering it was beginning to get colder and colder. Jack didn't even like the dungeons, yet he put up with them. After all, where would he go? Hot, stuffy Gryffindor tower? No thanks. Jack would rather prefer sleeping in the lake then in there. Gryffindors were the brats of the school, no doubt there. Padme had something of that quality, but it was a Slytherin part, not a Gryffindor 'I am so brave and selfless' personality. She was, if anything, the most self-centered person Jack had ever known. But he was in a bad mood tonight, as he lay in bed staring at the drab ceiling, thinking about the visit with Dixie. It was drawing closer and that was a cause of almost no sleep. But who could he confide in and tell them all his regrets, remorse? No one. Not even Mack on this subject.
Jack rolled over on the mattress and stared at the wall across from him. Everything was so quiet it rang in his ears, making his head ache from the unbearable silence. Jack was like this and he couldn't help it. He had lived in silence far too long and had no desire to keep on living inside of the...nothingness. He could sometimes chat for hours at a time. With nothing better to do, Jack got up from the mattress and gazed around the room. Darkness engulfed the room and prevented him for seeing anything. Jack glared at the darkness itself before uncovering the covers and jumping out of bed. It squeaked and groaned, but Jack didn't even care to make sure it didn't wake up his fellow dorm mates. They could deal with it. Since he had no sleep, that didn't mean others could have sleep. He could do whatever he wanted; make loud noises or perhaps light a few fireworks, but decided against it. The more suitable prospect was going out on the Grounds.
He would have to be careful though. It was far past curfew, around midnight almost. Jack didn't mind; he was used to sliding his way out of things with ease and simplicity. He hadn't gotten in trouble since...well, the beginning of third year, but that had been over the lack of quality in his homework. Thank god those days were over; he wouldn't have to watch Father's face turn purple anymore. That was a huge upside, of course, by now Father didn't even care whether Jack got good grades or not. He only punished when he had to be noticed about it. That was the worst scenario possible for Jack to encounter, but it was a rare one at that. With a grumble, Jack pulled on a heavy sweatshirt over his pajamas before walking out of the castle itself and into the Grounds.
Jack had never been out this late. He thought that fewer prefects would be around this time of night, but indeed he didn't meet anyone on his way to the Grounds. He had been sneaky anyway; ghosts might stay up longer then humans anyway, and they could pop out from anywhere, especially Peeves. Jack hated the annoying little figment of a ghost. He was the most bothersome prat in the castle, close to Mrs. Norris. But - if Jack had heard right - that horrible feline had gotten poisoned. Jack didn't feel bad for Filch, only that he didn't have the chance to give Mrs. Norris quite a good kick. With a smirk at the thought, Jack pushed open the great oak doors without noise and walked onto the grass. He avoided the windows in the castle, which was a harder objective to meet. Windows were everywhere in Hogwarts. And really, everywhere. None of the lights were on except a few, which Jack figured might be the Professor's offices or rooms. With a jolt, he realized he was at the lake, a few feet behind two figures in the darkness he hadn't seen before. The darkness hid things really well, and in the case a badly.
He strained his eyes to see who the people were and recognized one as Alexandra Ricci, another Slytherin fourth year. He figured it was okay to approach; Slytherins were somewhat trustworthy. Somewhat. Jack smirked and looked at the younger student. He wasn't sure who she was, nor did he care. If she was a little Hufflepuff or Gryffindor thinking she could play with the big kids, she better get her little butt back up to castle pronto. "I'm guessing you couldn't sleep well tonight?" Jack asked, ignoring the younger girl. If she broke out and said who she was in a respectful way, then he would give an acknowledge meant, nothing more. Jack found he didn't like younger students, even his sister, who could be a real pain in the arse. With a smirk, he sat down in the grass Indian-style near the lake's edge, a good foot away from the two girls.

As she sat there, gazing out at the moon, lost in thoughts of her tragic week. She was startled by a voice to her left. She jumped slightly, looking up at the owner of the voice slowly. How dare whoever it was disrupt her. She glared slightly, no even caring that it was a fellow Slytherin who stood above her. She sighed, looking away and glaring at the shore of the lake. Why couldn't people leave her alone!? There was too much to think about!! She looked to the owner of the voice. Jack Rendel. She smiled slightly this time, realizing who it was. A fellow Slytherin and of the same year. She watched as Jack approached and stood close by.
"Hello Jack," Alexandra said a bit more warmly, but not much. She looked back out to the lake, wishing that everyone would vanish and leave her be. The ripples on the water seemed to quiet as the wind subsided. It was officially midnight. Alexandra sighed, enjoying the short silence. The serenity of silence always was more comforting and much, much, MUCH better than someone prying in and wanting to comfort you. Alexandra always preferred being alone and not speaking, which is what she was doing now... she did not say a word, keeping her face a blank as possible so that Jack wouldn't suspect she was feeling bad.

Pyro lay in his bed staring at the ceiling. For some odd reason he wasn't able to get to sleep. For once Kojak's mouth was shut and silent. The others in the dorm weren't making a sound in their sleep, and their was no light due to the fact that the dorm was underground so there were no windows. He couldn't figure out what it was, but something was nagging at his mind. He lay, there slight frown on his face as he continued with no luck to get his mind at ease.
Suddenly there was some movement out of the corner of his eyes. Pyro turned and looked just in time to see a silhouette stand up. Pyro couldn't tell who it was but it seemed like he wasn't alone in his quest to find sleep. He watched as the figure moved around and than left the dorm. Wonder where hes off to? Pyro wondered. He shrugged and chose to ignore it and turned back to the ceiling, but now a new thought was nagging at him. So finally he decided to give up chasing sleep and go out and find whoever it was who had just left.
With a silent groan Pyro flicked open the curtains on his four poster and rolled out of bed. He quickly found his wand and summoned some clothes to him. After changing he began to move to the door. He looked at the empty bed and recognize it to be Jacks. Pyro frowned. What would Jack be doing out so late? He quickly and silently left the dorm and common room and made his way out into the corridors. By pure chance he happened to look out of one of the windows and he spotted three dark figures out by the lake.
Well, we just got ourselves a little group going on. He thought to himself as he made his way out there. As soon as he was close enough he was able to identify two of the three. One of them was Alex, a girl he had met on the train. Pyro rather liked her. The next was Jack, Pyro's dorm mate. The third was a younger girl that Pyro didn't really know but recognized to be slytherin. "Well, well. Don't we just have a lovely gathering going on here." He said as he stepped up behind them. He nodded to Jack and Alex. "Hey Alex, hey Jack. I noticed you leave the dorm. Guess you couldn't sleep either."

Alexandra waited for Jack's response, if there would be any and then stiffened when she heard soft footsteps behind them. She didn't want a Professor scolding them for being out of bed at midnight. She relaxed a bit when a student's voice presented itself. She tensed back up, however, when she realized it was Pyro. Her heart suddenly pounded and she turned to look at him. Her smile was instant and her actions shy. Even though he wore some random looking clothes and his hair was rather messy as if he had just got out of bed, Pyro was looking more handsome than ever and Alexandra's mind seemed to not let her think of nothing else as she stared up at him.
When he said her name, well nickname, the only person in the world who had ever given her a nickname, she smiled even more radiantly. She couldn't talk, just stare up at him for a few moments. He had asked if they couldn't sleep and Alexandra blinked, finally coming out of her blank state. She mentally shook herself and shrugged.
"Not really, I don't usually sleep," she remained quiet after that, although she wanted to keep talking to Pyro. She wished everyone else had vanished and it was only her and Pyro standing there, talking. Like it was on the train. She physically shuddered at the memory of the horrible attack. She had liked meeting Pyro, but not the events afterward. Hoping no had seen her shudder, Alexandra looked back at Pyro, waiting to see if he would say anything.

((ok, well it doesn't seem that Jack has the time to reply and I don't want this post to die just yet. So I'm gonna post and pretend that Jack isn't there. Jack if you come back just let me know and I'll modify.))
Pyro noticed Alex stiffen slightly when he spoke. She turned around and he offered a grin at her when she spotted him. Pyro had first spoken to her at the train. He had enjoyed that meeting and he liked her a lot. Although she did look a bit paler than normal she wasn't at all bad looking. In fact, she was rather cute in his opinion. She seemed to look even better tonight. The darkness seemed to accentuate her looks even more.
Pyro moved up and sat down beside her. He planted his feet on the ground and placed his arms on his knees. "Yea, I don't sleep much anymore. I have a few....Issues, on my mind." It just seemed that his life wasn't going to get a break. At first it was getting disowned from his family. Now it was the death of Cass's parent's. Life just wasn't going to stay quiet enough for him to actually relax for once. "So this is what you do? You come out here? You know its gonna get quite cold out here pretty soon?" He looked around the quiet scene. "Although, it is pretty peaceful out here, and the cold is a perfect motivator to work out." He chuckled a bit and turned to her.

Alexandra watched Pyro intently as he moved to sit beside her. Her eyes never left him. She listened to his every word, nodding silently and waiting patiently for him to stop speaking. Not that she wanted him to stop. It was easier to listen to people than to speak to them. When Pyro mentioned that it would be cold soon, Alexandra merely shrugged. She understood. It was slightly cold already, but not too cold. It was just right for Alexandra's taste. When Pyro finished. Alexandra thought a moment about what she would say. She paused a half a second more when he patiently gazed at her. She smiled, her dark eyes looking down at her feet.
"Yeah, I know it'll be cold soon, but I really don't care. I like sitting under the moon light. It helps me relax and think..." she glanced at Pyro again, wondering what he thought about her. This surprised her. She had never cared about what someone thought about her before. She had only cared a long time ago when she wanted her parents to love her, but when it was obvious that it was a useless quest, she gave up and never cared again. Until now, that is...

Pyro smiled over at Alex. He couldn't help it, but he actually felt relaxed around her. When he was with her all the problems he had in the world dissolved away and he was able to talk and interact normally. He hadn't recognize it the first time he talked to her, but as soon as their conversation had ended than he realized it.
He looked up at the sky. "Yea, I suppose the cold isn't that bad. Its a great motivator to get you moving thats for sure." He chuckled. He laid down on his back and folded his arms behind his head and sighed. "Yea, its healthy to relax and think every now and than. I had to discover that the hard way." He chuckled once again and than turned to look at her. "So, whats a girl like you have to think about? As long as you don't think I'm pyring to much."

She was a bit shocked, she had to admit. Never would Alexandra think that a boy that cute would smile at her so... friendly? Flirty? What was hidden in that smile Pyro was flashing at her? She smiled back, well beamed more like it. Her cheeks rose with happiness as her eyes twinkled. There was something about him. The way he seemed so... oh what was the word?...Slytherin. But the moment he spoke to her, Alexandra knew there was something more than a cold teenage wizard. Then he spoke and she couldn't help but stare as deep into his eyes as she could. He slowly laid back and stared up at the stars.
Alexandra wished Jack was gone. She glanced at him. He was rather quiet... but Alexandra forgot all out the other boy when Pyro spoke once again. He asked what she was thinking... Her heart beat quickened with nervous indecision. What would he say if she told him she was thinking about them being alone together? What would he say if she told him all she could think about was how cute he was? She bit her lip and wondered what to say.
Finally, in a desperate attempt to hide her true feelings, she shrugged and looked away from him. Unable to lie to those eyes. She blushed. Why was she blushing? Because she liked his eyes? Alexandra mentally rolled her eyes and told her she was being stupid. Just tell the boy you like him! a little voice told her. NO! Why on earth would I do such a thing? He'll just reject me... she answered right back. The debate in her head took longer than she had expected. By the time she had come to the decision that no one should ever know about her little crush on Pyro Blackfire, it had been well over a few minutes. By this time, Alexandra felt it would be less embarrassing if she didn't say anything at all. So she looked back down at Pyro next to her and smiled a bit mysteriously.

((I think its pretty safe to say that Jack wont return to this thread [ I will take these words back if you say so Jack ] So I think its ok to pretend that Jack was never here.)) Pyro's eyebrow arched slightly as he noticed her moment of silence. Instead of answering his question she instead flashed him a mysterious smile. Somehow this was a lot more rewarding of an answer from her. He couldn't help but return the smile at her. "I see, deciding to remain mysterious? Thats a quality I like." He turned back to look at the stars and his mind drifted once more. Now that he had brought the subject to mind his old problems arose once more. Everything seemed to be unraveling from what he had pictured. Now with Cassandra's parents deaths and her living with him, it had thrown him off balance, and he didn't like to be off balance. He had to force the thoughts out of his head. No use getting all depressed and thoughtful now. He turned back to Alex, hoping that his moment of silence hadn't made her feel forgotten or ignored. Looking at her he suddenly found himself very curious about her. About her home life, her interests, her hobbies. He looked into her eyes and spoke softly. "If you don't mind me asking. Whats your home life like?"

((It's perfectly fine Pyro. After reading a few replies you two did, I thought it better to just forget about it and leave you two to it, as it looks like this might be a plot for Alex's and Pyro's life, maybe? *shrug* I thought I sent you a PM (Alex) but knowing me, I probably forgot. But yes - just pretend Jack is gone from this post. ))

((ok... that works. This way Alex can be a bit more open, lol))
Wait... what? Alexandra thought, in complete shock when Pyro said he liked mystery. He just... no... he had to have said something else. But he hadn't, and Alexandra knew it. Her mysterious smile suddenly turned into a blushing, shy grin. She bit her lip and looked down at her feet. Pyro remained silent next to her as Alexandra recovered from her "shy moment". Her eyes slowly moved to the boy who sat next to her.
She watched as he stared up at the sky. He seemed to be thinking about something. Alexandra wondered what he was dwelling about... Suddenly his eyes locked with hers. She felt another blush come to her cheeks, but she couldn't look away from his eyes. The blush faded as something flashed in Pyro's eyes. What was it? Curiosity? Then he asked about her home life.
Alexandra's world crashed. She took a sudden, yet silent breath and finally broke eye contact. This is what she had worried about. She cursed herself for being so mysterious and causing him to become curious. She chewed on the side of her cheek while she argued with her herself. Should she tell him? Should she be honest? She sighed finally and glanced at Pyro's eyes once, before looking out across the lake.
"Um," she mumbled a bit before finally summoning any courage that resided in her soul and continued, "My... err... home life is a bit, complicated." She said, hesitating. Oh, Alex, just do it. She took another deep breath and shrugged.
"Well, see. I ran away when I was 13," she left out the part about why and continued, "and moved in with my cousin," she hesitated slightly. Her cousin... Angelique... she held back sudden tears with such skill that it only seemed she was thinking about her next response. "But... my cousin, sort of, couldn't take care of me anymore," She paused once again, wondering how to phrase the next part of her "story", "So she kick-I moved in with the Montogues," she changed her mind half way through her explanation and decided to sound like it was her decision. Alexandra looked at Pyro, hoping he didn't feel pity for her. That's exactly what she had been avoiding. She may have been the victim, but that didn't mean that people had to think so...

Pyro noticed the flash in her eyes as he asked the blunt question. He was about to take it back but she actually responded. Pyro listened intently and was surprised to find a lot of similarities about their separate lives. He easily caught that she was kicked out of her house, even though she attempted to hide it, and he immediately felt empathetic. Listening to her brought his thoughts back to the time when he was disowned from his family and he had to move in with Mary Evans, a fellow Slytherin from his year.
When Alex concluded her story there was a moment of silence as Pyro absorbed it all. He looked at her and his expression and eyes were clear of any sympathy. He could see it in her eyes that she didn't want, or need any sympathy. Although she looked small and frail she was a tough girl. Pyro remembered back when he was in the same situations he didn't want any sympathy from others as well.
"Yea, I know how that feels. I've always felt like running away. At least that would get my damn father off my back. But, I never got around to it. Last year I was disowned from my family. I moved in with the Evan's during the summer." He couldn't help but grin. "Thankfully my father is an idiot for I managed to run a deal by him that he couldn't refuse. So I am back at home now. Supposedly a joyous moment, except for the fact that my Cousin's caretakers have died, and my Father offered her a place at our home."
He couldn't help but sigh just a little. "Now I'm forced to live under the same roof as a Gryffindor. Even if she does have "Blackfire" blood in her, she still acts like a Gryff."

When she finished, Alexandra felt vulnerable, weak, exposed. Her skin prickled with goosebumps as the violated feeling didn't leave while the silence surrounded her and Pyro. She bit her lip, wanting to disappear. How could she answer such a question? This was the exact feeling she had been trying to avoid! Her eyes slid shut in uncomfortable waiting as Pyro absorbed the information of her story. Alexandra remained tense in the silence. Usually she loved silence and darkness, but now? In this silence, she felt defenseless and in the darkness she felt naked.
Pyro's words caught her off guard. Alexandra's eyes snapped open and her head whipped about to look him in the eye. She was in shock. Alexandra had expected him to say something like "ohhh poor wittle Alex... got kicked out? Here let me feel sorry for you" That was not how Alexandra saw Pyro, but that was what she had expected any other human to react to her life story, but Pyro did not express any sympathy at all. Instead, he treated her like a Slytherin ought to treat a mistreated classmate... with respect. Alexandra blinked, her shock hidden. Her heart calmed as Pyro explained his own life.
We're much alike, Alexandra noted while Pyro continued to speak. She remained silent, which was the only skill she was perfect at doing, and immersed in his voice. They were both banned from their homes, but unlike Alexandra, Pyro somehow got back home... Was there any hope for Alexandra that she could go back? Not that she would want to! That place was foul, full of foul people. She may have ended up no better than them, but to be stuck with those people? Never. She would rather die. Alexandra remembered her cousin saying she felt the exact same way... Why, then, would she move back and abandon her 'daughter'? Alexandra shook her head mentally. It was silly thinking such things... Alexandra looked back at Pyro, he had finished much earlier, but she had remained silent for a while as her thoughts absorbed her energy.
He had a little smile on his face as he had just commented Cassandra Blackfire. Being in the same year as the Gryffindor and all the Slytherins involved, she had heard the rumors. Of course, she didn't pay any attention... Nor had she ever cared about other people's lives, but now as she sat there next to Pyro, she felt herself so interested in his life. She wanted to know everything about him. The feeling had come so suddenly, it took Alexandra off guard. She looked back at the lake, wondering what to say next. She gave a half little giggle as she thought about his last words.
"I bet that's frustrating. I would kill to get out of that house, if I were you." The phrase that left her mouth left Alexandra stunned. This feeling, as all feeling she felt, was hidden from her face and eyes. She looked back down at the dew wet grass before her. Alexandra had never said anything like that before. She almost made a joke! The feeling was almost riveting! She turned back to Pyro and smiled. She was actually communicating with someone... that had never happened before. Well, except with Aubree, but that was a completely different story. She bit her lip again, looking into Pyro's eyes and wanted to look away, but couldn't. She smiled again, knowing her eyes must have smiled too.

Pyro couldn't help but laugh at her comment. "Oh yes. Theres been plenty of times that I've thought of killing someone. If it wasn't enough to have one Gryffindor living me, now I have her 'Boyfriend' to contend with also." He shook his head. "Not to mention my father has been on me to stick close to Cass. I'm not sure why, he keeps on saying its for her protection. Which I think is crap. He wouldn't protect a Gryffindor even if it paid a thousand Galleons."
He sighed and was silent for a moment. Than he stood up and turned to face her. He looked down at her and offered his hand. "Hey, wanna go for a walk? I think a change in scenery is in order." He smiled.
(Sorry its so short, I'll try to do better next time)

Alexandra's eyes twinkled at Pyro's laugh. Finally tearing her eyes away from his, Alexandra smiled again and looked down at the grass. Her fingers slowly wrapped around one of the grass' blades, unconsciously playing with the dark green, almost black blade of grass. The dew stuck to her finger and Alexandra lifted her arm and looked at the small drop of water on her index finger. Even though she wasn't looking at him, Alexandra still listened intently to Pyro's words. She nodded when he mentioned her boyfriend and was about to ask who it was when Pyro suddenly stood from the ground.
Instantly Alexandra thought he was going to leave. Her heart felt like lead. She wanted him to stay. Did she say something wrong? Was he leaving because she wasn't talking enough? All the worries flooded her mind that she didn't even understand at first why he was holding his hand out to her. She blinked blankly a few times, trying to understand. Then it hit her. He wanted to go take a walk with her... Suddenly Alexandra's heart went from lead to light as air. She nodded. Her lips spread wide into a large smile and she took his hand, her skin tingling at the touch.
Standing to her feet, she noticed that she was slightly shorter than him. Not by much, though. Her eyes shining with joy and her smile radiant, she looked into his eyes. "I would love to!"

Pyro felt Alex's hand slip into his and his skin crawled, in a good way. He easily managed to hoist her up onto her feet. He smiled at her. "Good." He lead her down closer to the water and than turned so that they were walking along the shore. They walked on in silence for a moment. Pyro stole a glance at Alex, she was walking closest to the water. He saw her with the reflection of the moon on the water as her background and was stunned for a moment.
This was an odd feeling he had never felt before. This feeling went 1,000 times over what he had felt when he first met Cassie. All of a sudden ever heartbeat felt like a heartthrob that shook his entire body. The silence had suddenly become very profound and drawn out to him. He couldn't help but feel uneasy in it. If he felt uneasy Alex must surely be feeling it also. He had to find a way to break the silence.
He looked at her once again, trying to come up with something. He caught the moon in the background once again. "You know, I never realized how beautiful the moon is when its reflected off the surface of water." It was than that he realized he wasn't looking at the moon, he was looking at Alex.

Alexandra hadn't even noticed that her hand never let go as Pyro began to walk. Her skin tingled as their touch excited all her senses. Her smile wouldn't go away. She tried not to blush as they began to walk by the water of the lake. Alexandra didn't even notice how beautiful the reflection was, all she could think about was Pyro and her hand in his.
Her smile finally faded and the redness left her cheeks by the time she felt Pyro's eyes on her. She didn't look up into his eyes until he spoke. Alexandra smiled yet again and lifted her head to look him in the eye.
"Yes," she said, glancing at the reflection on the surface of the lake, "It is beautiful," She looked back at Pyro, not sure at what else to say. She had never felt this way before. The mixture of happyness and nervousness. Her heart just wouldn't calm down as she looked into his eyes.

Pyro couldn't remove his gaze from her eyes. The butterflies in his stomach suddenly turned from tiny fluttering to a tornado. He gulped as he continued to look deeply into her eyes. He stopped walking and turned face her fully. He took her other hand in his and looked back into her eyes.
He had to ask her, if he didn't, he felt like he would just explode. "Hey. Would you.....like to go out sometime? Just us?"

Alexandra felt confused as Pyro suddenly stopped and turned to face her. Her eyes stared, confused, into his as she felt his other hand gently take hold of hers. Her heart felt like it had exploaded when he spoke. Her whole body felt like floating and a smile instantly erupted from her lips. She almost couldn't answer. Her smile was huge, but she couldn't say anything. She just stood there, smiling like an idiot...
Inside her mind, she screamed for her to say something. Anything. Well, anything but no... She bit her lip and looked deeper into his eyes.
"Yes!" she said, nodding happily.
