Sephora stretched out her legs and sat down against a tree near the half-frozen lake. It was a really nice day outside with a blazing yellow sun and not a cloud in the sky. All the snow had melted and it was around 50 degrees. She pushed a few strands of her brown hair out of her eyes and cracked open her Standard Book Of Spells Grade 3 that she had brought with her to finish some of her Charms homework. A paper was due Monday about a simple charm that would spell check people's writing. She had to write three paragraphs about its advantages and disadvantages. After a little while of gathering information, Sephora got a bit tired. Yawning, she gazed out at the slushy lake and started to day dream about nothing in particular. She was bored and started to feel like she needed to be around some people to get the stress of her load full of homework out of her mind.

Jessica Rose woke up early one Sunday morning to the sound of one of her room mates walking around. She groaned, turned over and tried to fall asleep again but didn't succeed. Jessica reluctantly pulled herself out of bed and heeded to the showers. When she jumped in the shower. By the time she was out of the shower her room mates were already in the common room.
Jessica quickly walked over to her drawers and grabbed a pair of socks and a purple shirt with the the words U2 in pink letters. Then she walked over to her closet and picked out a pair of light blue hip-hugging Jeans. After Jessica was dry and dressed she walked back into the bathroom and thought now what should I do with my hair? She Quickly decided to keep it down because she planed on staying inside. After she quickly pulled a comb threw her hair she put on some liquid dark blue eyeliner a Little light pink eyeshadow and pink glossy lip gloss. Satisfied with her appearance she walked out of the bathroom slipped on her shoes and walked down the stairs quickly grabbing her purse on the way.
When she finally made it to the common room she decided she didn't want to carry anything around with her so she quickly ran up stairs and set it on her bed. Noticing that all the snow had melted she grabbed her pink hoodie she ran down stairs and threw the common room. As she walked down one of the corridors it she noticed it was almost noon.
As she walked outside hopping to see someone she new but instead she saw a girl that looked about her age sitting against a tree near the still partly frozen lake. So she decided to go and talk to her. As she approached the girl she didn't seem to notice her so she said as polite as possible Hey I'm Jessica Rose mind if I join you?

Sephora was just about to pack up her books and papers to head up to the Great Hall when a girl startled her.
"Hey, I'm Jessica Rose. Mind if I join you?" she asked nicely.
Sephora had seen Jessica before in the Gryffindor Common Room and also had shared a couple of classes with her in the past. The two had never talked before though. Sephora wanted to be around people, so I guess her wish just got granted.
"Sure" Sephora smiled. "I was just trying to finish some homework, but I can't pay attention for anything. I'm Sephora Warwick by the way." Sephora rambled.
A lot of the time when she met someone knew, it was hard for her to talk slowly. She didn't know why, but she always started rambling on about different things.
Jessica took a seat beside her on the damp grass and Sephora moved some of her schoolwork out of the way to make room.

As Jessica introduced herself she noticed the girl looked a little relieved. Smiling the girl said Sure was just trying to finish some homework, but I can't pay attention for anything. I'm Sephora Warwick by the way. The girl talked really fast but Jessica didn't mind because she new she did the same thing. She always remembered seeing this girl in the common room but didn't remember ever going up and talking . The girl named Spephora scooted over so she could sit down and at the last minute she realized it was a little Great wet butt she thought to herself looking back up at the girl for some odd reason she remembered the time her and her old muggle friend Sarah had gone out to play when it was raining really hard and got all muddy. She also remembered what her Aunts face looked like when she entered the house and got muddy on her favorite couch because she was so tired she couldn't walk up the stairs. Looking at the still half frozen lake she thought it looked really pretty with the sun rays reflecting off the lake. pulling her head out of the clouds she looked back at the girl and asked were you excited when you got the hogworts letter that said you were to be coming to this school? Tucking another piece of her long blonde hair behind her ear she waited patiently for an answer
( sorry its lame I just got back from B-ball and am very tired)

Sephora listened as Jessica asked her a question. "Ofcourse! I was sooo excited. My best friend Alarice recieved one over my house because she was staying the night. I guess the owl knew where we were." Sephora thought back to that night. It was such a happy time; a bombfire was going outside in the yard and her and Alarice roasted marshmallows and slept out in a tent. Later that evening when they were getting ready for bed and eating a snack in their sleeping bags, they heard a 'hoot' right outside. They unzipped the "door" and found an owl perched on a nearby tree. The owl had swooped down and dropped two white letters with black ink at their feet. "So, did you hear about the next hogsmeade trip tomorrow?" Sephora asked excitedly. She loved spending the day in the little village. *(sorry, ill write more next time  I have a lot of posts going at one time. |

Ya, I remember when I got my letter I didn't believe it at first but now look were I am, the greatest place on earth. Oh, I didn't here about the hogsmade trip; I have never been there to tell you the truth Jessica said a little embarrassedly but I heard that it is really great. Exceptionally the Three Broom Sticks. Jessica remembered the first time she had gone to diagon ally. It was the most fun she had ever had. She saw so many things she had never even heard of and she was able to buy the best thing ever, her kitten Smokey. She was part black and white with big blue eyes. She was the cutest thing she had ever seen. Looking back at Sephora she said are you going to hogsmade with anyone?

Sephora's jaw dropped as she heard Jessica say that she had never been to Hogsmeade. How could anyone stand not going there? It was so amazing and there was loads to do. The candy shop was filled with scrumptious sweets that made anyones mouth water and Butter Beer in the winter was like heaven. Even the scenery was worth while taking a trip there. Sephora personally adored the Zonko's Joke shop. She loved playing tricks on people and the store had a variety of random items for any kind of goofy present you'd want to give someone. Jessica asked if Sephora was going with anyone. She was planning on going with Alarice, but then she remembered that Alarice would be studying for a Transfiguration class all day. This disappointed Sephora a little bit. She really enjoyed spending a day with her best friend in Hogsmeade and didn't see why Alarice couldn't just not study. I mean, we both usually just slack in school anyway.
But Jessica seemed really nice and Sephora loved getting to know new people so she thought of asking her to go with her.
"Erm....no, I'm not. You want to come with me? You have to come. It's so much fun. I can't believe you've never been there before!" Sephora said.

Jessica saw the stunned exspration on Sephora's face and blushed a little it was not like she had not heard of it it was just that she had never had the chance to visit it. Her aunt and uncle were muggles so they never took her. She was pulled from her own thought when the girl said Erm....no, I'm not. You want to come with me? You have to come. It's so much fun. I can't believe you've never been there before. Jessica excitedly said sure I would love to come with you. I cant believe I have never been there either. Even though she looked calm her head was spinning with thought. What if I don't fit in, I wounder what type of sweets they have, I wounder if they have sodas there. Shaking her head slightly to clear these thoughts. She remembered the time when she had learned she was a witch, all the questions that she had made her dizzy and just thinking about it made her head spin slightly. Looking back up at the girl she said casually what brings you outside on a day like this? Twirling a piece of her cherry blonde hair she waited patiently for an answer.
